Gorgeous home

Beautiful home with stunning location exactly as described. Minor suggestions, label the fan remotes and provide some directions for the interior lighting controls.

Perfect vacation!

This property was exactly as shown in the photos, and was perfect for our family. The location is great, quiet but then Key West is less than a half hour if you want a change of pace. Cudjoe Bay is perfectly situated if you want to fish, with easy access to offshore or gulf side depending on your preference. It is located a short distance from Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary if you like to snorkel. We brought kayaks and a boat and spent a beautiful month on the water! And the yard has plenty of space to store your boat trailer, no problem. Also, the house faces due west so we had perfect sunsets every night. It was a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful FL Keys. (The only FYI I would add is the only access is up a full flight of stairs, so if that’s a consideration for anyone in your group, I would check that out)

This property was exactly as shown...

This property was exactly as shown in the photos, and was perfect for our family. The location is great, quiet but then Key West is less than a half hour if you want a change of pace. Hawkins Lookout Review

First of all, the Vacasa staff was amazing and answered all of our calls with a prompt response and follow up repairs. Since the owner does not like to maintain the house, Vacasa had to come out multiple times to fix or repair issues. They came out immediately to address an ant problem when we checked in, came by twice to fix two broken toilets, sent an AC repairman to fix the broken HVAC, sent their own people to get the TV working and replace a DVR box, sent out another repairman to fix the dishwasher, then ATT had to come fix the TV again twice. There is still a leak from the upstairs bath into the downstairs bath that needs to be resolved and some lighting switch problems that need to be looked at by an electrician. All in all, the location is great, just too bad that the owner neglects and ignores glaring problems and leaves Vacasa to deal with the guests.

We sincerely apologize for the issues encountered that negatively impacted your stay and we appreciate you notifying us promptly of the issues so our team could address them as quickly and efficiently as possible. Unfortunately, the leak from the upstairs has been elusive. We will have a plumber re-evaluate it next week. Our staff will evaluate the light switches. We will recommend replacing the current ones with more user-friendly ones, as the ones currently installed are difficult to operate. We appreciate your honest feedback and we truly hope we can host you for a more comfortable stay in the future, thank you.
