Just steps from the lake, this beautiful, family-friendly log home is going to make for the ideal setting to experience a wonderful summer vacation with the people you love! Inside, the home is open, spacious, and dressed with lots of comfortable furniture and thoughtful personal touches. The full kitchen has all the small and major appliances the family chef will need, plus ample counter space to assemble everything from a quick afternoon snack to a full-course meal for your dinner guests. There is plenty of outdoor seating on the back deck to enjoy those al-fresco meals and the private gas grill will ensure your family barbecues are a wild success. The kids will love romping around the secluded property while you share a few glasses of local wine with good friends on the deck's comfy furniture. You'll even have a wine fridge available to store your favorite bottles!

When it's time to wrap up an evening, you can watch your favorite movies and shows on the mounted flatscreen TV or head down to the firepit for some toasted 'Smores and some stargazing with the kids before retiring to one of the home's three well-appointed bedrooms. In the morning, head down to the dock to untie the family boat for an afternoon on the water! There is a short, gravel trail (1/10th of a mile) you will take down to the dock with some elevation changes along the path. There are lots of children's games for the little ones, and you can challenge someone to a game of cornhole then kick back in the home's central AC to enjoy a good novel. The private washer/dryer will ensure everyone's clothes are nice and clean during your stay. Don't forget to use the home's free WiFi to download a good playlist to your device or research a new lakeside adventure.

This is a nice getaway

We enjoyed our stay away from home. It is nice if you enjoy family activities like playing board games, reading books, watching TV together. It's like a home away from home with added comforts such as extra throws, blankets and the home was clean which is a plus.

Great getaway for our anniversary

This place was a great, secluded log cabin with access to the the lake. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. It was really close to several wineries, breweries and the Lake Anna Taphouse (we loved that venue)! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Great house

Lovely private home, ac worked great! The walk to the lake is a little treacherous but once yoy get there it's its own huge private dock on the cove and the water isn't too deep. Would definitely stay again!

Great for Relaxation

We really enjoyed the home. It had all of the cooking essentials you could imagine. Quiet, serene, and relaxing. Tip: bring socks, as they request that you don't walk on the light colored carpet. They have tile also, so it wasn't a huge deal. We caught plenty of fish, too!!! Overall, we loved it!

Everything was great except the fridge did not work for a day and half and the worst part is that when I noticed (few hours later)was a bit too late for some of my groceries :(

The property was very nice and in a great location. The wooded outdoor space was fantastic. The walkway to the dock was a bit washed out, but our family had no issues. They provided 2 adult kayaks, 2 youth kayaks, and two paddleboards, as well as several life jackets and floatation toys. The house definitely felt like a cabin in the woods that could use updating, but it served our purposes beautifully. The communication was on point. It is apparent that the propery owner cares.

The house was super cute however we never could get the internet to work and the kitchen sink faucet needs to be fixed or replaced. Also with the heavy storms we had the path to the boat dock was washed out. Place was clean

The house was very nice and well stocked with pots, pans, etc. The outside - the deck, the chairs around the fire pit, and the dock on the lake - were a little less maintained. But nothing that presented a major issue.

Peace an quiet

This log home is quite nice and there is plenty of peace and tranquility. There was a shortage of pots and pans and those there were in poor repair and several were actually put away dirty.

The home was pretty clean, quiet area. The front burner on the stove didn't work. We weren't there very much except at night and it served our needs then.

Lovely Lakeside Lounging

It's a little bit of a hike down to the lake but it was still lovely. The neighborhood was very quiet and calm. The only complaint is that there are no curtains for privacy in the bedrooms. They did have almost every type of pan needed for cooking except a strainer and smaller sauce pot. There is no dining room table so if it is raining, you'll need to figure out how to accommodate everyone at either the kitchen bar or chill in the living room. There are two picnic type tables outside on the upper deck though. Highly recommend this rental!

disappointed that VRBO is not really VRBO anymore

I always used VRBO because i liked being able to deal directly with owner. Now you are a middle man for vacation management companies like Vacasa, so I not only can't deal with owner, I paid an extra amount for booking on your site rather that Vacasas. You should not mislead people this way, as the listing did not state that it was not truly a rental by owner.

Stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my friend’s birthday! We were so happy that it had a dock, plenty of outside seating with a fire pit, and a grill. We had an 8 month old with us and didn’t feel like it was too hazardous for him. I think he had a blast! The king size bed and queen bed were very comfortable. The bunk bed mattresses were not that great- but I guess a kid would not feel the same as a 25 year old sleeping on it. There were plenty of towels and household items. We used the kayaks and were amazed at how many water accessories were in the shed. The neighborhood was very safe and quiet. We absolutely loved our stay. Only qualm was not having the gate code given to us as we got our check-in information, but it was given quickly after we asked the host. Would highly recommend for a small family or two couples to stay for a long weekend.

Overall it was okay but there were things that were disappointing. The beds were the worst, limited (comfortable) sitting in the home, the ice maker didn't work, the decks and steps outside need to be cleaned. They were slick but not as slick as the floor when you walked in. We almost fell a few times. The walking trail to the dock was washed out, muddy and lots of ruts. We were unable to enjoy sitting outside as well.

A Wonderful Place To Take In Lake Anna, VA

Tinavi Time was the perfect home for our little get away to celebrate our 37th anniversary. We found the home charming, inviting and clean. It met all our needs. The front window area and the deck are the two areas in the home that we used the most, and the master bedroom also was very comfortable. Vacasa really made us feel welcomed and well cared for. Every questioned or need we had was answered in minutes. It was so comforting when Amber, our local Vacasa guest services representative, reached out to us with the final details in anticipation of our arrival. Amber was amazing and again was very responsive to our every need no matter how trivial. Regarding the home, it was perfect for us. We would definitely recommend Vacasa and Tinavi Time to others who are looking to rent memorable spaces for short or long vacation stays. Thank you Vacasa for the extended checkout time. It allowed us a leisurely time waking up, gathering out stuff, and checking out. We also appreciated that there wasn’t a lot for us to do to check out.

Beautiful location by the lake

We recently stayed at this vacation home and had a mixed experience. The location is wonderful, nestled in a beautiful wooded area, and the rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The thoughtful inclusion of extra paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies was greatly appreciated.However, our arrival was challenging. We arrived at night in the rain, and the property was difficult to find due to no visible address, even in daylight, and a lack of exterior or security lighting. The only indicators were a rental sign and matching photos. Additionally, the door code provided was incorrect, though the property management team was responsive and quickly resolved the issue.Inside, we encountered numerous spiders, giving the impression the house hadn’t been occupied or cleaned recently. The kitchen was also a bit dirty, with several pots and pans needing rewashing before use.Overall, the home has great potential with its lovely setting and amenities, but better signage, exterior lighting, and thorough cleaning would significantly improve the experience.Additionally, we really enjoyed the pedal boat down at the dock, our only disappointment was that no life vests were provided to help us be in compliance with state laws. It was especially concerning because we do have a seven-year-old who swims well, but a life vest would have helped us feel more confident.

peaceful and restful

The setting was peaceful and restful, which is what we needed. This house is in a gated community with houses nearby but due to the woods, it doesn't feel too close. House was clean and in good order, even in October after the summer season. The house was smaller than it appeared in the pictures, but this trip it was just two of us, so it was OK. It would be Ok for up to 4 adults who really like each other, but not 8. There were 4 bunk beds for up to 4 children, again ok if all get along!. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking, lots of pots and pans etc. All appliances were in good working order. Would recommend more china/stoneware dishes; there was a full set of plastic dishes and bowls, ok for eating on the deck, but we're not fans of plasticware. Enjoyed grilling on the deck. The linens were lovely with nice towels and a great number of towel racks. Didn't actually get on the water this trip, but house came with its own dock as well as nice kayaks and paddleboat. Enjoyed nearby Lake Anna State Park in the "off season"; told it would be very crowded during the regular season. Would have been good for fishing as well. The VACASA staff were responsive and helpful. Would have liked a table to enjoy a family meal inside instead of folding tv tables. All in all, a lovely break from our routine.
