Cozy and comfortable. Owner was responsive to questions quickly! Quiet, with lovely views! Beautiful sunset, just as advertised! Hot tub was a nice feature and perfect on a rare cool summer evening! Pet friendly was added bonus on this trip! Will stay here again!

The location of this property is amazing! It’s right on the bay and has the best sunsets You can go wading every day at low tide and see all kinds of water life. Great for summertime and being outdoors.

This is old world charm at its best. We loved the peaceful street with all the different cottages…just so quaint!!!Our stay was wonderful and the views from the panoramic back windows was amazing!!! Sunsets are beautiful.We loved we could bring our fur baby too!!!We saw so much wildlife! But the most important aspect was how quiet and peaceful it was. This is a true gem and we will be returning again.

Beautiful place by the ocean with a sunset so amazing it humbles you. Will stay here again. The host was excellent in communicating and helping out when required.

A little slice of Heaven Very peaceful and quite So cozy for a couple The cottage had lots of character We loved being so close to the water. The hot tub facing the sunset was just so perfect Great place Great price Enjoyed being there. We plan to go back next year

The booking was fast and easy. When we got there the place was very clean and organized. I would totally recommend this location to friends and loved ones. We had a wonderful time there. The whole experience was great from booking to leaving.

This place is truly a little gem! We had an amazing stay and already hope to come back.The sunsets were absolutely beautiful, and being able to watch them from our own private spot made the experience even more special. We took full advantage of everything the property had to offer—we rode the beach cruisers, canoed, and paddle boarded out to the sandbar, where we explored and fished. That was by far our favorite activity and such a unique experience! We also loved walking along the beach and seeing so many different sea creatures.The host was incredibly responsive, kind, and easy to work with throughout our stay. The house was clean, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway!

The location & view were everything and we quite satisfied w that. On the flip side these were our observations-*Flower beds sadly overgrown and whole yard needs a good trim. *Brick path to hot tub needs attention, or just removed*Window unit in sunroom completely rusted & unusable. Should be removed before someone gets hurt. *Long hairs inside refrigerator and freezer*Internet connection was unstable so Roku reception was intermittent *Fireplace unit in sunroom interferes with the view and makes the room too crowded. Should be moved or removed since it's all about the view from that room. *Take an UMBRELLA or Canopy so you'll have shade!!! None are provided.

Thank you so much for all your construction criticism. We greatly appreciated it. The room that faces the water had a serious slant and a soft spot that had to be repaired so that’s where a large portion of our funds went this year for the Beach cottage last year at the end of the year we did the mini splits. I just replaced all the linen and all the towels at the beginning of the season this year October we have scheduled to move the breaker box inside the house and replace the light fixture in the kitchen in the middle bedroom. It has proven you’re impossible to find somebody out there to do landscaping so unfortunately, I’ve been having to do it all by myself. I’m definitely tearing a lot of stuff out at the end of the summer and redoing the flower beds. Hopefully you come back again soon to see our improvements.

The view is lovely overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, as were the sunsets. And the cottage itself was rustic and cute, but could have been so much more. We were greeted warmly by the cleaners who handed us the keys. Unfortunately, quite a few things went wrong with the rental:- The instructions for where we could find and leave the keys were confusing to us.- The hot tub was unusable: the water was green and smelled moldy. This is not due to well water, I owned 2 hot tubs and know what stale hot tub water looks like. - There were gnats and flys all over the house. There were no screens in the windows to keep them out, and two sugar-water cups were all there was to capture them. We understand gnats are common in the area but this was in the house.- There was a storm a 3-4 days earlier that washed out the beach and severely damaged the stairs to the beach, but were never notified about that before we arrived.- The air conditioner in the window in front wasn't working. Thankfully the wall units worked well. - The carpet in one of the bedrooms had burrs all around which got stuck in our feet.We sent messages to the owner on the VRBO app, starting a day before to confirm some details, then when we ran into these problems. We left 7 messages over 2 days and VRBO tried to contact the owner over a 24h period and they didn't have luck reaching them either until we received a refund for checking out 2 days early. We never leave bad reviews and feel bad to leave one here.

Our home was very clean upon arrival, which we appreciated. However, several maintenance, accuracy, and communication issues significantly affected our stay.The front door handle broke off in my hand, and the bathroom towel rack came off the wall when a towel was hung. We repaired both ourselves. The overhead kitchen light did not work and had no bulb, leaving only the stove light for kitchen use. The overhead bedroom light also did not work, leaving only a lamp.The listing advertised a king bed and a queen bed, but both were queen-size. The advertised outdoor sitting area had no table or chairs, and the yard was significantly overgrown despite being described as well maintained.We were asked to swap laundry containing the host’s personal clothing rather than only handling guest linens. The property was still being cleaned upon arrival and was not finished until approximately 15–30 minutes after the stated check-in time.At checkout, we were expected to take the trash to the dump, but the dump is closed Sundays. This should have been clearly communicated in the checkout instructions.Again, the home itself was very clean, which we appreciated. Fortunately, we brought our own tools and a magnetic light, allowing us to address some issues ourselves. However, the non-functioning lights, maintenance problems, inaccurate listing details, unavailable outdoor seating, overgrown yard, and unclear trash instructions made it difficult to fully enjoy the amenities we paid for.

The inside of the cottage and decor are beautiful, I especially loved the two bedrooms. We had problem with cell signals and internet connection there when we first arrived, but we worked around it. Didn’t get a sunset on first evening due to cloudy sky but we did enjoyed a great one the next day. The yard probably could do some tending, our dog enjoyed sniffing around but he got unlucky with some sandspurs. Lovely space to hang out both inside and outside. I got to see some stingrays as well when I went down to the waters.

An amazing sunset view overlooking Ches Bay from family room OR if you prefer, simply walk a few steps outside and down a few stairs to the private beach to enjoy with nature. And, before the sun sets, enjoy the same from morning through evening. Beautiful, peaceful, charming, and relaxing.

You can’t say enough about the location! Beautiful sunsets and moonsets. Perfect size for two adults. The interior was sparkling clean, kitchen was adequately stocked, comfortable beds, sofas and chairs. The neighbors on both sides helped us find great restaurants and craft beverages.
