At the foot of the Grünstein, in a sunny and central location in Schönau am Königssee, lies our guesthouse with 16 non-smoking vacation apartments of various sizes.
You can look forward to cozy, country-style vacation apartments. All apartments feature a living room with satellite TV, a kitchenette with a 2-burner stove and a refrigerator (some apartments also have a separate kitchen or a larger kitchenette with an oven), 1–3 bedrooms, and a balcony. From almost all balconies, you’ll enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Three of the vacation apartments are located on the first floor and have a separate entrance and a small terrace or outdoor seating area.
In the building’s basement, a washing machine and dryer are available for our guests’ use. Usage and payment can be easily managed via an app. This room is also used as a ski and bike storage area.
Enjoy your vacation in the Berchtesgaden Alpine National Park, in a friendly atmosphere with personalized service.
The in-house beverage service offers a variety of drinks at fair prices. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire building. Your dog is very welcome here and stays for free.
The sunny 2-room vacation apartment 17 is located in the attic of the Landhaus Waldhauser and offers a comfortable retreat for 1–2 people across 55 m². The private balcony is perfect for relaxing and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.
The bright living area features a cozy seating area and a dining table, creating a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere.
The separate bedroom features a comfortable double bed and provides the perfect conditions for a restful night’s sleep.
The small kitchen is very well-equipped and includes, among other things, an oven with a glass-ceramic cooktop, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a coffee maker, a toaster, and a kettle—ideal for self-catering.
The bright bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, sink, and toilet.
Services & Amenities:

For families with children, we provide a travel crib and a high chair free of charge upon request. Every child traveling with you between the ages of 5 and 12 receives a small “welcome bag.”
For dogs traveling with you, a towel and welcome treats are provided; a dog bed can be reserved free of charge upon request.
Each vacation rental comes with a free parking space right next to the building. In all apartments, you’ll also find informational materials about the region as well as hiking guides.
Free Wi-Fi is, of course, available.
The vacation apartment is equipped with dishes, pots, a toaster, a coffee maker, a kettle, bed linens, and towels.

The vacation apartment is suitable for 1–2 people. You are welcome to bring a dog upon prior request. Other pets are not permitted.
