Now booking for the beautiful Fall season, Winter dates in December for Ogunquit's Christmas by the Sea and Kennebunkport's Prelude, and the Summer of 2027! Consider this brand-new 2-bedroom duplex your home away from home while you visit Wells and its nearby quaint coastal towns. "Yellow Chairs at the Bird Nest" is an adorable space that has been thoughtfully designed for a relaxed and memorable stay on the Southern Maine coast, no matter the season! Featuring an open-concept layout with soaring vaulted ceilings, the vibe is "beachy meets farm home" and feels bright, airy, and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The well-appointed kitchenette opens to the living area creating the perfect space to gather after a day of exploring.
The primary bedroom offers a comfy reading chair, TV, ceiling fan, and spacious walk-in closet, while the full bathroom features an oversized walk-in shower and convenient stackable washer and dryer. A fun and versatile entryway/game room/reading nook provides additional space for entertainment, rainy-day activities, or simply unwinding after a day of exploring, shopping, leaf peeping, or sipping warm beverages during the Holiday festivities, and frosty cold beverages in the Summer. You will find TVs in master bedroom and a larger one in the living space.

This is a well appointed, clean place to stay. Bonni is attentive and very communicative should you need anything. Location is close to everything! We would recommend this rental.

Bonni's house was perfect! Clean and bright, she thought of every little detail, many nice touches , great communication. Very comfortable and great place for small group, we had 4 adults. We were happy to meet Bonni, she was a wonderful host! We look forward to another visit!

Lovely property, very clean and well appointed. Bonni is a great host; we enjoyed her so much. I can’t say enough good things about both our host and her property. She was very responsive to our several difficulties with the mini splits heat/AC system, which none of us had experienced before. Large learning curve for us!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Yellow Chairs! The cottage is brand new, beautifully done, and was absolutely spotless when we arrived. The location couldn’t have been better—just minutes from the beach and close to so many of the surrounding towns and places we wanted to visit.Our host was fantastic! She was the perfect balance of being friendly and available whenever we needed her while still giving us plenty of privacy to relax and enjoy our stay. What stood out most was just how much thought and care has clearly gone into making Yellow Chairs feel like a true home away from home. It’s obvious that she genuinely wants her guests to have a wonderful experience, and all of those thoughtful touches made our stay feel extra special. We had such a great week and would happily stay at Yellow Chairs again!

We had such a wonderful weekend getaway in Maine, and in no small part, that was thanks to Bonni and her lovely listing. From the moment we arrived, everything was welcoming, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for. One of the sweetest touches was finding coloring books and crayons laid out for our daughter - it was such a thoughtful gesture and immediately made us feel at home. Bonni was incredibly kind and helpful, and you could really tell how much care she puts into the property and her guests’ experience. We’re so grateful for her hospitality and would absolutely stay here again!

We had an absolutely lovely time staying in the Yellow Chairs! The host has created a beautiful spot to stay in Wells with some many thoughtful touches and amenities. We felt immediately comfortable and were happy to return from the beach and meals to such a nice home each day. Our only wish was that we could stay longer!

I would recommend this location to anyone. It had everything you could need and was thoughtfully laid out and very clean. The appliances were not afterthoughts and the type you would have in your own house. No stove... but I wouldn't imagine you would need it. Note: it had a nice toaster oven and hotplate. It had 2 bedrooms on either side of the unit with 2 twin beds for our kids and a comfortable queen. The online images were accurate so you will be able to see it.The unit is in a great location to all the major southern Maine attractions. The main road with lots of restaurants was a short drive up the road and once on the road you could pick almost anything.The host house is attached to the VRBO, which was peace of mind if there was an emergency. Host was friendly but stayed out of the way. Cannot recommend enough the value for the money.

This neighborhood was built many many years ago on what was formerly an apple orchard; and much of it has been preserved under the Rachel Carson environmental protection. It is very peaceful with a mix of residents; long time owners, newer owners, a few seasonal rentals, and it's not unusual to see a deer or turkey strolling by during their travels to and from the marsh on this dead-end road. Birds of all types chirp, sing, fly by, nest, and enjoy the abundance of food to be found in the various feeders provided by the humans. At times you will see dogs being walked, children in strollers, or couples holding hands as they walk by.
