Hi Laurence and thanks for your review, we are sorry that the weather was not so good. I want to say you that after your holidays we changed a lot of thinks, first of all we move in the little house where you stayed so that we rent now the whole big house with private access to the garden. In this way guest have their own space and privacy and the kitchen is closer to the veranda. Than we biult a big covered veranda instad the Wisteria pergola so that when rains guest must not run inside! We did a lot of more works so that our property is much more confortable We hope to have you as our guest again one day. Best regards Alex and Maurizia

We were very surprised by this review, after having read other of a different tone, 1 ) The house is equipped with GPL gas heating plates in all the rooms and gives the ability to turn on and off according to your needs . We had guests in December and February, when the temperatures are much more rigid and we had no complaints whatsoever . Houses to rent must necessarily also have carpets ? ! You put a blanket from the bed on the floor , which generally also use other guests , where 8 people were walking regularly , and for hygiene reasons we politely asked to use two large pool towels supplied by us. We have always had groups with children of all ages who have never complained , edges are those of a normal house , how can it be that of the table. There are two normal steps from the dining room to the kitchen and a step that divides the kitchen from the sleeping area . 2) We provide all our guests all the linens , sheets, towels ( we change mid-week ) , tablecloths ,towels for the pool and 1 roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. We are not aware that similar structures gives need for cooking or detergents . There is a living room of 24 sqm with a large three seater sofa, a table for 8 people and a working TV with satellite dish. Maybe you have not been able to make it work but you have not even asked for our help . 3 ) Unfortunately, our rural area does not have ADSL coverage . We provide a key that is the only way to connect to the internet and our guests have safely used . 4) We try to be discreet and helpful and we try to make our guests can enjoy their holidays in the best way . After casually saw that ALL the lights of the whole house have been left on ALL night , we politely asked to put attention . In addition, being sensitive to the environment we have assembled a photovoltaic system , therefore we ask our guests IN THE LIMIT AS POSSIBLE to use washing machine and dishwasher during daylight hours . We recommend (when there are more car ) to park in a certain way to make it easier maneuvering and recommend that you close the shutters for your further security , although the area is quiet . Also there seems not polite to take the linen from private wardrobe without asking, when we say that we are at your complete disposal for any kind of change . As far distances just go to the website and check , all distances are specified in Km and time. People usually book our property also for its proximity to many attractions.

Although we try to make our guests as comfortable as possible, we know perfectly that sometimes it is not so easy. Fortunatly the reviews that we already have shows how our guests are more than satisfied about us and our location. We suppose (and we are really sorry about) that your review was lead from an unaspected and expensive cost of internet. Fortunatly we explaned you at your arrival that you had only one GB free pro day, and that the surplus use was subject to payment. Normally one giga is more than enought, in two years that we have this system, never guests spent more than 6/7 euro in one week and we never charged this little amount! Unfortunately our location is sorrounded by trees and in summer is unpossible to take other kind of internet signal. It is possible that in the next future we will served by ADSL but not yet. Now I want to fastly reply about the other points: 1) Unfortunatly, this was the hottest summer in Italy in the last 180 years, normally the house is very cool with at list 10 degrees difference with outside. This exceptional heat has unfortunately created an umid climate with consequent increase of insects, but with a normal repellent the problem usually is solved !! 2) Bombarded with rules???!! I Think that it is a MUST to explane our guest the better way to use and enjoy the house some main rules and informations. Organic bin is 200 mt far and renting a house (this is not a Hotel) is your duty to bring it there. Who else??! How described in the website, we live in the next door house, but we are really discret, we live on the opposite side and we NEVER come on guest side, we clean the pool and garden before guest get up, we saw you 3 times, one at arrival one at market(!) how can you say that you didn’t feel completly relaxed ??! 3) On the parking area it is easy possible to park 3 cars, having a big turning area, actually there are 2 big cars plus our one that we can immediatly remove in case of needs! 5/6 We think that before booking you have red the description of the house and watch the pictures (Done from us) that shows exactly how the house is and the size of each room,usually in the last six years we rented the house to 6/9 people without problems. We are really sorry that you didn’t enjoy your stay.
