Hi Carrie. Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and detailed review. It’s clear you appreciated many aspects of the home, especially the location, the charm of downtown Manistee, the proximity to Lake Michigan, and the unique architectural features. We're glad the master bedroom and porches stood out positively, and that having all 16 of you together in one place worked well overall. That said, we’re sorry to hear there were multiple disappointments that affected your stay. A leak in the ceiling during a storm, concerns about bunk bed stability, and cleanliness issues are not acceptable and definitely take away from the experience. The lack of adequate seating for meals and the insufficient number of dish towels should absolutely be addressed, especially for larger groups. It’s especially frustrating that even after reaching out for additional supplies, your request was not followed through on. We understand your preference for direct communication with an owner, and your experience with the responsiveness you did receive sounds like it fell short. Your suggestions, like adding a folding table and chairs and improving the supply stock, are practical and easy fixes that would make a big difference. Thanks again for your balanced feedback.
