The Space:

Beautiful views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Assawoman Bay await at Plaza 1404, a two-bedroom, oceanfront condo that sits right above the sand in midtown Ocean City. Spend your days strolling on the beach and swimming in the community pools, and your evenings cooling off in central air conditioning, preparing homemade meals in your full kitchen, and sipping cocktails outside on the balcony. Additional amenities include free WiFi, a private washer/dryer, and a host of resort-style facilities downstairs.



The Plaza Condominiums is an oceanfront property in midtown Ocean City, with grounds that include indoor and outdoor pools, a kiddie pool, a half-acre sundeck, a hot tub, a sauna, an oceanfront lounge, and an outdoor bar and grill come summertime. In this wonderful location, you'll be close to all sorts of restaurants, shops, conveniences, miniature golf courses, and nightlife in the surrounding blocks of Coastal Highway. Head less than two miles north to Northside Park or two miles further to Fenwick Island, or go south for the day to Jolly Roger Amusement Park and the heart of the Ocean City Boardwalk (approximately four miles south).

It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

The location couldn't be better! The condo is cute but clearly somewhat worn, which is fine when you have kids. The Plaza has so much to do, and beach access is great. My questions were answered always very quickly which is awesome! I would definitely stay again.

Overall, the place was very nice except for the one bathroom in the master bedroom had mold in it and we cannot use that

The condo was clean and a great place to stay. I would re-rent when looking for a 2 bedroom. At times I need a 3 bedroom. Within walking distance to grocery, coffee shop and a couple restaurants.

Overall the property was clean and had what we needed. The review complaining about cleanliness is confusing cleanliness with decor and finishing. The condo is straight out of the 90’s. So it’s not sleek or modern. But it has lots of sleeping space, is right in the beach, is located in a great condo community with a pool and fun bar/restaurant with live music, and doesn’t break the bank! It could use an update on pots and pans… the only pan I could find had the teflon scraped off of it. But we enjoyed our time and love the beach front location and clean condo.

Welcome to Vintage 1970’s-complete with original dirt. A 4 star resort isn’t necessary to make my stay enjoyable. The view and pool were amazing, but I’m not sure this condo has ever been sanitized.-the cook pans are unsafe. The teflon is grated from decades of use- the tan shag carpets in the bedrooms and family room were so black, I didn’t want to walk without shoes-the secondary bedroom had a ceiling leak which resulted in a mold & mildew spot-the ceiling fan blades were covered in dust-crumbs littered the top of the toaster from the previous tenants-the 1970’s sofas were grimey. I can only imagine the bacteria and mites living in them-we didn’t sit on them.-the tile floor grout is caked with decades of buildup-the white dining room chairs caked with food & dirt-the main bathroom glass & shower wall under the soap dish were covered in soap scum. The shower tile floors also need a deep clean. The toilet bowl cleaning brush was brown and it’s container had black mold spots inside-all bed pillows were flat and useless and piled on the dirty carpet inside the closet floor-on top of the gross old mattresses, were mattress toppers-we found used towels under our bed and a pair of child’s underwear in the dryer lint trapThe host company was very responsive (verbally) to my comments. The outsourced sheets and towels were clean. The unit provided two rolls of TP, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, a sponge, trash bags, body wash, shampoo & conditioner.
