The Space:

Situated on the third floor of the Fantasea (walk-up, no elevator), this charming condo is the perfect home base for your beach getaway. Enjoy the coastal breeze on the private balcony, fitted with a retractable awning. The sparkling shoreline is just a quick stroll from home! A full kitchen offers a suite of appliances and all the necessary cookware to make your favorite beach snacks. After fun-filled days, unwind for movie nights in the welcoming living area. Add perks of this family-friendly vacation stay include free WiFi, cable, a private washer/dryer, and a shared outdoor shower. The convenient mid-town location means you are never far from the fun. Things to Know The fireplace isn't currently useable. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Great location and easy check in process. However, the property itself could use a deep cleaning, the vents were dirty and multiple stains throughout the carpet. The furniture was not as clean as the pics looked. The pics online had to be from several years ago.

Not super clean : showers were ok but floor had many long hairs... Rug need some care, i.e. a replacement. Every appliances are very old and need some update. Kitchen utensils were old, damaged or not there. Sad there was no table on the terrace. But you go there for the location: terrific!

The unit was disgusting. Dirty ! Dishes and cupboards were nasty dirty. Refrigerator has mold on it and all over the sides. We needed to find another place for the night. Host was not helpful. Refused to take care of the issue. The unit was not liveable.

The positive: location, plenty of space and clean beds. The issues: prior reviewers complained of stained rugs and dust filled vents. I contacted the company prior to my arrival, and they assured me that these issues would be taken care of. They were not. The space is old and looks like someone left that hadn’t updated anything from the 1990s, which is not really a big issue other than the following: The cabinets and kitchen needed to be cleaned prior to us using it. Cabinets had, old, grease and dust stuck to them making them sticky. We could not put our groceries in the cabinets because of the musty smell, and shelf liners that were stained and possibly had mold on them. There were not enough spoons for our family of 4 to use at the same time, only 2 coffee cups, no pot holders and only 1 pan for the oven that looked more like a grease drip pan (we had to buy our own disposable ones to be able to cook in the oven). Living room furniture is stained and throw pillows are lumpy and felt dirty. The blinds in one room were missing pieces making it difficult to close enough for privacy from neighboring windows. I contacted the company and they assured me they would reach out to local managers. I did not hear back from anyone. I mentioned this again to the company and they said they would reach out again. I would not stay at another VueStay location. I had to spend part of my vacation cleaning the house and was uncomfortable on the furniture and rugs.
