Staircases & Accessibility
Mountain Crown is a multi-level A-frame chalet with several staircases. However, both the main floor and ground level have direct exterior entrances:
•The main floor can be accessed directly from the front yard without using the staircase. It includes a private bedroom with a queen-size bed, a full kitchen, a living room with a queen-size sleeper sofa, a full bathroom, and a laundry closet.
•The ground-level game room and sleeping area can be accessed directly from the outside patio and driveway without using the staircase. This open, multifunctional space includes two full-size beds, a pool table, a four-seat dining area, a lounge area, and a full bathroom.
•The interior staircase leading to the ground level has limited head clearance due to the chalet’s original A-frame design.
•The staircase leading to the loft is steep, which is typical of A-frame mountain chalets. For additional safety, we have installed non-slip stair treads, an extra handrail, and a child safety gate.

Guests with mobility limitations, balance concerns, or difficulty navigating steep stairs should carefully consider whether the property will meet their needs. Children must always be supervised when using the stairs

• To help ensure a consistent water supply for everyone, we recommend spacing out showers and avoiding running multiple water-intensive appliances (such as the washer and dishwasher) at the same time, especially during peak morning and evening hours.
• Please notify us immediately if you notice leaking faucets, running toilets, or unusual water issues, as unattended leaks may cause major problems

Mountain Crown is a spacious three-level A-frame chalet with soaring cathedral ceilings and large windows that showcase beautiful mountain views and fill the home with natural light. These architectural features are part of what makes the chalet special, but they can also create natural temperature differences between floors.

The home is equipped with a central HVAC system which is professionally maintained Because cool air naturally settles downward and warm air rises, temperatures may vary somewhat between the lower and upper levels. During hot summer afternoons and periods of strong sunlight, the loft and upper floor may take longer to cool than a traditional home.

To help maintain a comfortable indoor environment, we recommend keeping exterior doors closed and closing blinds or curtains during the sunniest parts of the day.

The loft master bedroom’s air vent is located beneath the bed as part of the home’s original design. For the best airflow, please ensure all upstairs vents remain fully open. We have also provided portable fans to help guests customize their comfort and improve air circulation throughout the chalet.
