The vacation apartment with the playful name “Schlummerhausen” is located in Beilstein-Schmidhausen—the quiet and beautiful neighborhood in Beilstein that lends the apartment its name. In addition to its great location, the apartment offers modern and cozy accommodations with many thoughtful touches. You can feel right at home, relax, and drift off to sleep content and happy each evening. Upon request, we offer affordable rates and long-term stays of up to 2 years.
The Accommodation
Modern built-in kitchen, stylish dining area with a table and 4 chairs, wardrobe, and sleeping arrangements for 1–4 people, armchair, coat rack, and a small bathroom with a shower. The apartment enchants its guests with mosaic and high-gloss floors, as well as paneled ceilings with indirect lighting. Put your feet up, relax, and let your imagination run wild. Flat-screen TV with satellite reception and teletext, super-fast Wi-Fi, internet (120 Mbit/s). An Amazon Fire TV Stick with Alexa voice control is available for playing music or streaming Amazon Prime movies. Use is by arrangement. So you won’t have to go without anything here.

The vacation rental offers a separate entrance and free street parking.

The built-in kitchen is also fully equipped: refrigerator and stove, pots and pans, glasses and dishes, a sink and kettle, right down to a handy egg cooker—we’ve thought of everything.

Linens, towels, and bed sheets are included in the price and provided in ample quantities. If you find you’re missing anything, just let us know—we’re happy to help.

The bathroom is small but nice, equipped with a shower and a modern glass partition, a sink, a toilet, and a bathroom cabinet.

We’re naturally child-friendly, and a crib is provided free of charge upon request. A large public playground where kids can play in the sand, dig, slide, and climb is located just 50 meters from the vacation rental—no need to cross any streets—and is very popular with children of all ages, including our own kids and the junior manager, “Jonas.”

We also recommend a few attractions in Beilstein. For example, Beilstein Castle, with its falconry and flight demonstrations, is not to be missed. Beilstein also has an indoor pool and a highly recommended large outdoor pool with many great water slides for all ages—it’s well worth a visit. Beilstein is conveniently located just a few minutes from the A81 highway, making it easy to reach and an ideal starting point for excursions in the region. Beilstein is also part of the Württemberg Wine Route—you probably won’t be able to explore all of the 320 km of bike paths and 420 km of interconnected hiking trails, but we’ve put together some tips for you here. There are also good bus connections to downtown Beilstein and Marbach.
