"Idylle am See" Vacation Apartment - An idyllic setting on the island, with a balcony overlooking the lake

Your "Idylle am See" vacation rental is located on the 1st floor of a historic, listed townhouse dating back to the Middle Ages, on a quiet side street on the island. It is idyllically situated on the shores of Lake Constance in the former tanners’ quarter. This charming vacation rental measures 60 square meters and features two separate bedrooms.

The apartment is comfortably furnished with a unique blend of original furniture from the last century and contemporary design. The furnishings harmonize with the original terracotta tile floor in the living and kitchen areas, which keeps the apartment cool even during the summer months. Both bedrooms feature old solid-wood floors. Due to the nature of the flooring, the apartment is not wheelchair accessible.

The fully equipped open-concept kitchen in the living area features an electric stove with oven, a fridge-freezer combo, and a dishwasher. You can enjoy your coffee from the DeLonghi portafilter espresso machine or a traditional drip coffee maker. A milk frother, electric kettle, and toaster round out the amenities for a cozy breakfast on the balcony with a lake view.

The newly redesigned bathroom with a shower and the separate shower toilet add a modern touch. A washing machine is available for shared use on the first floor.
One bedroom is furnished with a double bed (140 x 200 cm). The second bedroom features a bunk bed measuring 140 x 200 cm (bottom) and 90 x 200 cm (top). The apartment is suitable for a maximum of 4 people.

Thanks to the apartment’s prime location on Fischergasse, you’re just a few steps away from a bakery, a health food store, cafés, and restaurants.

The property is located directly on the lakeshore with a magnificent view of Lake Constance and the mountains across the lake. The property has direct access to the lake. Our guests are welcome to walk through the owners’ garden to swim in the lake or take a quick dip.
However, we ask for your understanding that staying in the garden itself—for both guests and dogs—is not permitted.

You’ll also benefit from convenient access to the ski resorts in Vorarlberg and the Allgäu—thanks to direct train connections, you’ll be on the slopes in no time and can enjoy the perfect combination of Lake Constance and Alpine charm without the stress of travel.

Amenities for a completely carefree stay:
Upon your arrival, you’ll find freshly made beds, carefully laid out hand towels, shower towels, and dish towels, as well as a starter kit with cleaning, dishwashing, and hygiene supplies. Final cleaning, bed linens, and one set of towels per person per week are included in the price; additional towel sets can be booked at any time as needed.

Important Information:
Dogs are allowed in this accommodation for an additional fee. Flexible check-in and check-out are available seven days a week, and thanks to the key safe on-site, even a late arrival is no problem. The apartment does not have its own parking space, but you can conveniently pull up to the front door to load and unload.
