You'll be enviably located just 500 feet from the Canyon Lodge lifts at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area when you make your home base at the Sierra Megeve Condominiums. This inviting escape even offers access to a shared swimming pool, a hot tub, and a sauna to cap beautiful days spent in the great outdoors of Mammoth Lakes.

Step inside to find an entryway with a bench and hooks to assist you in the removal of your boots, socks, and coats. You'll immediately warm up in a living space accented with natural wood, large windows, and charming decor inspired by the outdoors. The living room has a pair of comfortable sofas, a flatscreen TV (with a DVD player) mounted above the hearth, and sliding glass doors that lead to a patio overlooking the pool deck. On the other side of this open room are a window seat where you can review the morning snow report, a dining room table with seating for six, and a fully equipped kitchen with black appliances and a peninsula breakfast bar for two. Additional amenities include free WiFi throughout the condo and a flatscreen TV (with cable) in the primary bedroom suite.

The home was very nice and clean. The cookware and dishes are high quality for a rental. We enjoyed staying here and look forward to staying here in the future.

Great place but the shower door in the primary room was broken

Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting this issue. During your stay, the wheels on the shower door came off the tracks. We did offer to address it right away, but you preferred to have it repaired after checkout. We have since fixed the shower door and confirmed it is now functioning properly. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention and are glad you otherwise enjoyed the home.

Convenient location. Overall good. Manager didn’t answer bell after waiting 10 minutes but he was in the room behind the office. Saw dusty old under wear in water heater closet. The master bedroom light flashes. By the way we left at 7:15 am, April 5th.

The location was fantastic, pretty much as close to Canyon Lodge as you can get. The condo was on the older side, but well kept and clean. The beds were firm but comfortable. The only downside was that this unit is on the first floor, so you will be able to hear the unit above you very clearly, especially if they walk around in ski boots/snowboard boots.

Great location, well stocked place

We really enjoyed our stay here. We walked across the street to the chairlift. The condo was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We would stay here again and I would recommend the place to anyone.

Comfortable Home Away From Home

Pros: Perfect size for three or four adults. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, good water pressure in showers, everything we needed in the kitchen, underground parking, steps away from the town shuttle, beautiful quiet and relaxing neighborhood. Cons: ROKU TV without a guest password, terrible WiFi, no view, condo needs a little TLC.

Upstairs noise is unbearable

You can hear everything from the unit above this one. We heard constant noise and I'm writing this review at 1 am unable to sleep due to the loud music from upstairs.

Fantastic location close to lifts

You can't beat the location in regards to closeness to lifts. Super convenient. However, know that there is absolutely nothing else to do at the Canyon Lodge area but skiing and the village gondola stops running at 5 pm. You will have to drive down town (2-3 mins drive but still) and find parking to go out for dinner or drinks. So be well prepared to cook. One more thing - there is a big sign in the condo to put your ski/snow board equipment in the storage unit right next to the condo, but no key is provided! I finally got hold of someone at VRBO (after being in phone line for 10 mins plus the first time I got disconnected half way through), and they told me I would have to drive down town to go to some locker there with instructions. No thank you. Instead, we rented an expensive locker at the Canyon Lodge. That was really bad of VRBO or the owner not to provide that information with the check-in process so that we could have picked up the key to the locker on our way up. Or why not simply provide the key in the condo?? Another thing is the bunk bed. The top bed is dangerous. The so called steps up to the top bunk bed are way to far apart and you have to heave yourself up. And no bed lights so if you have to go to the bathroom at night, you are in complete darkness trying to find your way down the "steps". I'm surprised no one has got injured yet. But - location in regards to skiing: Fantastic!
