This was a very beautiful house in a great location. About 25 mins away from Salem, easy drive, uber ride, or train ride. Nice walking area to a small beach and artist area, and a main street with a really good lobster restaurant! I saw in previous reviews, people had problems with the door code and lock, but we had no issues. There were some issues I had with the house. All the bed linens were very dingy, didn't seem clean. I always check for bedbugs (there were none), but the beds and sheets had hair, sand, and debris on them. 2 beds did not have matress protectors and one of the twin beds had a large stain on it. It didn't smell, so I'm assuming it was old. The bed linens were very thin and not cozy for how cold it was. There were not a lot of linens in general- no throw blankets downstairs, no extra linens upstairs, not a lot of towels. I think its time to get new beddding sets and matttress protectors for all the beds. There were no tvs in any of the bedrooms. I've never stayed in a house where the bedrooms didn't have tvs. Its always nice to have that when you are staying with other people of varying ages. The backdoors were all glass and didn't have any coverings on them. It made us kind of uneasy since we were 4 girls staying alone and the houses were very close. In general, the house looked clean but if you reached under the vanity or couch to get something, there was tons of hair, dirt, and debris. I would give it another chance, but it needs updates.
