As a first-floor residence, this home offers some of the truest ski-in/ski-out access in Vail offering a private patio that steps right onto the snow, with the Eagle Bahn Gondola and Born Free Express Lift only moments away. Click in at the door and ski straight to the slopes. This comfortable two-bedroom, two-bathroom home comfortably sleeps up to six guests and is a great fit for families.

Inside, the spacious living area gives everyone room to spread out. Gather for a movie marathon on your favorite streaming services, a fun game night, or a long evening of good wine, great music, and plenty of new memories. A full-size sleeper sofa adds flexible sleeping space for families or groups, and air conditioning keeps the home comfortable in every season. Everything was great. Would definitely stay here again. Location was perfect and unit very clean.

Ski slopes at your door

You can’t beat this location. Within steps of the Gondola! Staff was terrific and condo was very clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice, quiet unit with spacious kitchen and living area. Comfortable beds and nice, clean and spacious bathrooms. Access to Lions Square village and Eagle Bahn Gondola and Born Free chairlift is amazing.

Great Condo & Location

The location can’t be beat and the condo is very nice. My only complaint is for the money, there should be an in unit washer and dryer. We were here for lacrosse tournaments and walking back and forth to the main building for laundry was a pain, and multiple of the laundry machines were out of order…so we were constantly waiting, having to come back etc. For that reason, I will find another place next year.

Perfection at Christmas

We cannot say enough good things about this location and unit. We skied with our 3 small kids and were literally steps from the gondola and ski school. If you’ve skied with small kids you know how important proximity is! The unit has everything you need including a large family room space to hang out, warm fire, comfy beds and plenty of kitchen utilities. The heated pool and hot tub are just a short walk away in robes that are provided. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been an in unit washer and drier but there are shared units in the building if you need them. If you are looking for skiing convenience and plenty of comfy room for your family this is it!

Disappointing after many years pf great stays

Having Stayed at Loin Square lodge many years I was very disappointed. The problems started with rude night maintenance man, to mainence flooding the aster bath because they ran the shower on hot with the shower door open for over 1 hour when the drain problem was in the bath tub to the management not caring or understand the problem when the cleaning staff decided to pile the dished in the sink instead of wash the pans and run the dishwasher. The location is great. While having a manenanc issue in a 1 week stay is not pleasant having 1 or 2 that ar handled poitly happens but 4 issues ion 5 days and rudeor uncarign staff is not acceptable

Can’t Wait Until Next Year

Well appointed spacious condo with comfortable furniture and a well stocked kitchen. When they say ski in, ski out they are not exaggerating. You can ski right to the patio and enter the condo through the back door. You are literally a few feet from several restaurants and steps from all of the Lionshead services and activities including the ski school. The Lodge staff was very helpful and responsive. My only complaint is you have to make your way down dangerous ice in ski boots or walk around the entire building to get to the condo after skiing.

Best Location in Vail

Unit 113 is literally steps from the Gondola. It is a perfect location for true ski in/ski out. The unit is updated and very clean. The Lion Square Lodge staff is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

There is no better ski-in, ski-out at Lionshead/Vail

Step out your back door..onto the snow. Walk 40 feet across the snow and be scanned by either the gondola or ski lift personnel. There are only six apartments this close to the ski slope; we stayed in 113, right on the end (quietest) of those six, best location at Lionshead/Vail. Large, amazing, not cheap, but worth it.

Great condo

Loves the condo, the grounds, the people that worked there were all fantastic! Only downfall was not having easy access to washer and dryers to wash ski stuff readily.
