As you relax on the terrace, you’ll feel as if you’re floating above the sea—the deep-blue sea and the Cilento coastline stretch out before you in every direction. Capo Palinuro, the landmark of the Cilento, is close enough to touch.

The nearest shopping and dining options are in Pisciotta, about 3 km away. The long sandy beach at Saline, about 4.5 km away, is just under a 10-minute drive.

Hiking enthusiasts can set out on their hikes directly from the Casa degli Ulivi: From Pietralata, a “dead-end village” with no through traffic, hiking trails lead, for example, to Monte Castellucio or to the medieval mountain village of Rodio.
