Summary:

Take the beach path for a morning walk to the sand, then come back for a dip beneath the community pool's small waterfall. This multi-story Mauna Lani condo sleeps six in three bedrooms and two baths, with air conditioning, a lanai, and an in-home washer and dryer to make a family beach trip feel easy. The shared hot tub is ready after a golf day, and nearby tennis courts offer another way to get outside. For a change of scene, drive about a mile north on Pauoa Road to the Fairmont Orchid's lagoon area, or spend the day exploring the sunny Kohala Coast. Mauna Lani's beaches, golf, and resort dining are close, with the stores around the resort handy for practical stops. This is a relaxed, amenity-rich base for a family or friends who want the Big Island's warm side without packing every day too full.



The Space:

This three-bedroom, two-bath multi-story condo sleeps six and has air conditioning, a great lanai, and an in-home washer and dryer. There are 16 steps from the front entry to the residence. The comfortable interior gives everyone a simple place to recharge after beach time, golf, or a swim, with the practical space to settle in for more than a quick overnight.



Guest Access:

Guests at Palm Villas at Mauna Lani in Waimea enjoy access to a shared communal pool, hot tub, and gym, plus garage parking. The grounds offer garden and golf course views, and a disabled parking spot is available. Beach access rounds out an easy Kohala Coast stay.



The Neighborhood:

Palm Villas is in Mauna Lani on the Kohala Coast, a sunny part of the Big Island known for beaches, golf, and calm-water days. A beach path runs just outside the community, making a morning walk to the sand an easy ritual. The Mauna Lani resort area is close for dining and groceries, and the Fairmont Orchid lagoon is about a mile north on Pauoa Road. Anaehoomalu Bay is also nearby for a bigger beach day, snorkeling, or sunset watching.



Getting Around:

Kamuela, also known as Waimea, sits inland on the Big Island's cooler upcountry, about 40 minutes from Kona International Airport. A rental car is essential here since beaches, shopping, and dining are spread across the island, with the Waikoloa resort area and its beaches roughly 20 to 30 minutes away. The town center is small and somewhat walkable, and parking is easy to find, usually free and close by.

Really clean, comfortable, and in a very nice little neighborhood with nice amenities. Great for both using as a home base for adventures throughout the island, or just staying there and hanging out at the pool and beach.

Great location and relaxing view

We really enjoyed staying here. The location is great; convenient to the stores and an enjoyable walk through the historic park to the private beach. The view from the lanai is mostly lava rock and trees with lots of privacy.

Wonderful location and home

We really enjoyed this well thought out home and the area in which we stayed. The pool facilities are beautiful as well as the beach access and hotel amenities that are available. We also enjoyed the proximity to other towns and then he coastal beaches

Best part of our trip!

We had the best time staying here. The property was immaculate and the views were amazing. The location was also great. We could walk to the beach from the condo. We will be staying here again next time we visit the Big Island.

Fantastic rental for my family

Perfect location to the Beach Club, everything you need to cook a meal for your family on the stove or on the bbq grill outside. Even had chairs and umbrellas to use at the Beach Club because the cabanas are reserved pretty early. I will definitely inquire to stay here again when I'm in the area.

Relaxing and a beautiful place

Property was great. Well stocked kitchen and the condo was in a great location. Could use two more beach chairs. One was broken and the condo had only three, and we had a party of 4. Otherwise, would rent again.

Great stay for a family of five!

This was our first stop during our two-week vacation in Hawaii (Big Island and Oahu). The location was perfect for our family with two young kids. We definitely took advantage of the on-property amenities, access to the beach club, and the overall convenience of being central to everything in the area. The place itself was also perfect with ample space not to mention the boogie boards, beach chairs, etc in the garage. Highly recommend!

New condo for us

Very pleasantly surprised as this was new area for us. Very quiet and private next to lava field on lanai. Perfect fit for 3 generations with grandson living in loft. He was totally happy. Well located to most activities. Lovely pool area. We would happily rent here again.
