Vores MAUI STRANDHUS ... (Læs venligst vores gæstekommentarer for at se, hvor fantastisk dette sted er!) Dette er det perfekte sted til en familieferie og tilbagetog !! Og det er lige på stranden!

BELIGGENHED: Lige på en sand Kihei-strand, fire miles nord for Wailea. Gå kun få skridt fra stuen og dækket til græsplænen og sandstranden. Nyd lange vandreture på vores sandstrand. Spektakulær udsigt over havet og solnedgange fra stuen, dækket og soveværelset - udsigt over Lanai, Kahoolawe, Molokini og West Maui. Kajak foran huset for at se skildpadderne!

BESKRIVELSE: En stor (1.250 kvadratfod !!) to soveværelser, tre bad tilpasset redwood rækkehus, som vi bygget i 1977 som en familie tilbagetog - med et fuldt udstyret køkken og vaskeri. Dette er et behageligt strandhus, og vi har for nylig lavet ombygning, renovering og opdatering. Det store soveværelse har en kingsize-seng, det andet soveværelse har to enkeltsenge og en queensize-seng. Duplexet er i tre separate niveauer, hver med sit eget private badeværelse. Det tilstødende rækkehus er den eneste andre enhed på ejendommen og kan også lejes for større grupper.

STRAND: En sandstrand med rolige, revbeskyttede farvande. Stuen og soveværelset har en spektakulær udsigt over stranden, havet, hvaler, West Maui og solnedgange.

GOLF: Elleair Maui Golf Club ligger tre gader væk, Waileas berømte golfbaner ligger fire miles væk, og alle Mauis andre baner ligger inden for nem kørselsafstand.

TENNIS: Offentlige domstole er et par blokke væk i begge retninger, flere er i nærheden.

SNORKELING, SURFING, PADDLE SURFING og WINDSURFING: Beyond the reef lige foran huset, og på en af flere nærliggende strande. Maui Dive Shop er en blok. Rig op på den forreste græsplæne og sej lige fra stranden.

Svømmehal: Kihei Aquatic Center ligger to gader væk.

SHOPPING: En blok væk: restauranter, købmand, postkontor, banker, bageri osv.

RENGØRING: Enheden rengøres og forberedes professionelt inden ankomst.

We loved our time at this home in Maui! The home is exactly as shown online and very clean. Both the owners and property manager were fantastic to work with. Both were very responsive and helpful! The owner was in communication with us leading up to our trip with lots of great suggestions for local activities and restaurants which was greatly appreciated! We are already looking forward to our next trip to Hawaii and would love to stay here again!

Beachfront property on Maui

Beautiful beachfront experience with amazing sunset views and very walkable. Stores and restaurants within walking distance. It was perfect for our family of five! Doug and Marti were great hosts. Mahalo! We will be back!

Heaven on Earth

Our experience at this house and with Doug and Marti was top notch right from the beginning. The communication with the house was fantastic all the way through, and the house was even better than we expected. It is everything described and even more! If we ever come back to Maui, we would arrange our trip around the availability of this property. I truly can’t explain how wonderful of a time we had here. It is the perfect place to stay at Maui.

Piece of Paradise

We loved our stay here - the home is cozy and the views are amazing. We enjoyed paddleboarding with turtles and seeing them not only on the beach and in the water but from the house as well. The owner and property manager were great and responsive, the home is older, but very well kept and clean. Absolutely would stay here again! No AC, but open windows and fans cooled the place down nicely, especially at night. Would highly recommend!

Great location and property!

Doug was extremely communicative throughout the entire experience. The location of the unit is right on a quiet beach in Kihei and only minutes away from restaurants and restaurants, while still tucked away and private. Would recommend this property for anyone looking for a nice peaceful stay in Maui!

Magical

I highly recommend this VRBO!! It is absolutely magical!! We absolutely loved our stay! The home is exactly as described in the listing. When you're on the property, it feels like you're in a cabin on a private beach. It's so quiet and comfortable that even an extreme type A like me couldn't help but relax. The beach is at the end of the backyard and while the beach is public, it is not crowded. We were able to set up the chairs and umbrella available at the house everyday with lots of room around us. We cooked dinner at the home several evenings, ate on the back deck and watched the sunset. We watched whales and turtles from the deck and beach every day and night. Besides being right on the beach, the location is perfect. Everything you could want is in Kihei, grocery stores, great restaurants, clothes and gift shops. Everything else is a short drive away.

Spectacular Sunsets!!!!

If you are looking for places to stay in Kihei, Maui look no further!!! This townhouse is truly amazing. It has a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, beautiful lanai, rolling lawn right to the beach which you feel is your own. I can't say enough good things about this property, except we didnt want to leave. Also there is a supermarket literally a 3min walk, plus lots of restaurants. Thank you again Doug for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The best week EVER! This location is 10 stars!

We were coming to Maui for our 20th wedding anniversary and plans changed with the fires and we were lucky enough to stumble across this rental. The Shermans home is breathtaking! The history of the home made it more magical for our celebration. Clean is an understatement. It had everything we could possibly need for everyday usage and the beach! We enjoyed our adventures out and coming home to this place was a bonus. There is absolutely no need for a/c so do not let that scare you away, you will be missing out. The inside the house is gorgeous and well the immediate beach access and those views from the house will be forever engrained in our souls. We were able to get in a little bit earlier and contact with the property manager and access was a piece of cake! Our stay was truly dreamy. I hope when we come back to visit Maui that we can get this place or hopefully get just as lucky. It was PERFECT and worth every single penny spent!

Amazing Trip

We had an amazing time. The house is very much as described. Beautiful sunsets right out the back door. The beach is located right over the sand dune - and even though it's not actually a private beach - because of the location, it almost seems that way. We had one issue with the dryer that was taken care of immediately! Great place, great time, great hosts! Thanks Doug!

Perfect piece of Paradise

Beautiful home on a beach that felt very private. Watched sea turtles and sunsets on the beach right in front of the house. Had everything that we needed at the house, including beach chairs. Was a couple block walk to the grocery store and restaurants. Perfect house in the perfect location! The host was very quick to respond to any questions that we had. Would definitely stay again!

Gorgeous views

Our view from the home was incredible. Each morning we were greeted with a slight breeze and blue skies. We toasted each evening's sunset with champagne and enjoyed the ocean view from the patio.

Amazing property

We loved our stay! Beds were comfortable, house was exactly as described, communication with the manager was excellent! The beach is right over the the grass hill and the sand was so soft! Easy entry to the water if you want to swim or rent paddle boards. We had a great stay!

This property delivered on all of the promises of the listing. The location offered great privacy, sunsets, and access to food and shops within walking distance. It was well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen and for the beach. Nice architecture and construction. Great communication from the host. I highly recommend it!

Great Stay

Had a great stay at Doug’s townhome! Doug was very responsive and proactive in his communication. Really appreciated the 70’s vibe and quick access to the beach. The house was well appointed with everything we needed. We were grateful for the beach chairs, towels and umbrella. Primary bedroom was so light and breezy and the bed was comfy. We stayed in late April and had absolutely no need for air conditioning. The layout of the home is a little quirky and there’s a few steps to the kitchen without a railing so anyone with mobility issues or with small children may have a bit of trouble. Also there are sand dunes and a rolling yard to navigate so that to could also be a challenge. As others have stated, there is a large empty lot with public access to the beach next door (separated by tall bushes) which did get a bit loud a few times with cars revving their engines, or loud music , but it really didn’t last that long. We expected random people walking through the lawn between the house and the beach because of the previous reviews , but it was definitely something we had to get used to. The beach was beautiful and serene. We could walk out into the ocean for at least 200-300 yards and water was only to our waist. Would definitely recommend some water shoes! We enjoyed snorkeling and swimming with the sea turtles! Kihei is a cute town, but we were a little disappointed in the walkability of it. Yes, there is a grocery store that you can walk to, but as far as walking to shops and restaurants, everything seemed to be in a strip mall. We honestly spent a lot of time up the coast in Lahaina when we wanted to eat out and shop. We would definitely recommend Doug’s home to families with older children or for any group of able bodied adults.
