Summary:

Delight yourself with expansive water views from almost every room and the large wrap-around balcony when you book this incredible two-acre waterfront home! This retreat has been updated with new hardwood flooring on the main floor, stairs, and lower level, and you'll love catching views of gorgeous sunsets and bald eagles during your stay. This is the perfect home to create everlasting memories and relax in privacy!



The Space:

You will be located on the sought-after north end of Camano Island, less than 60 miles north of Seattle.



The main living space is located on the second floor of the home. Find an airy open floor plan seamlessly combining the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The sunny living room is a great spot to gather and unwind with your loved ones - stream your favorite movies and series on the smart TV and if you are feeling a tad cold, the fireplace will keep you nice and warm. Another wonderful place to hang out is the seating area by the kitchen, which offers comfortable chairs and a sofa, creating a delightful spot to plan your next adventures. From here, you can access the extensive wrap-around balcony with views of the mountains and Saratoga Passage. Dine alfresco with a gorgeous backdrop! Speaking of dining, the open kitchen is well equipped with all stainless steel appliances that will make cooking a breeze. Don't hesitate to show off your cooking skills and surprise your friends with their favorite recipes! This level also hosts a secluded bedroom.



All other bedrooms are located downstairs along with wonderful and inviting living areas. There is a second living space with another smart TV and a dry bar with a wine cooler. Attached to this space is an office/den with a fireplace, a work desk and chair in case you need to work from home, and comfortable chairs.

The house offered gorgeous views of the Sound (and Whidbey Island across the way). Very private, very quiet, super peaceful. We would come back again for sure.

The accommodations were exactly as advertised. The interior was clean and very spacious. The yard was somewhat overgrown but the big lawn and space around the home was excellent and provided a quiet restful environment. My biggest complaint was whoever is managing this home is doing a very poor job of communicating and should be reprimanded. The day before our arrival, I had to call (third world country) to finally get the address so that I knew where I was going. Upon arrival I discovered that there was a security gate to the property and had to contact them again to get the access code. The door code to the house was a 7-digit number that seemed very sensitive and prone for me to entry sometime taking multiple attempts. The interior of the home was clean but the outside deck (where the view was best) was cluttered and had 4 dead birds in various stages of decomposition.

Perfect Views!!!

Beautiful quiet property to enjoy the Puget Sound views. Spacious floor plan to accommodate families. The grounds are gorgeous a provide a cozy feel.

Beautiful location

House was clean and comfortable and easy to get to. Beautiful views from the deck and kitchen had everything we needed for a great stay. Would love to have had a few more outdoor chairs so we could have enjoyed the firepit

The home is large and comfortable for family get togethers Fabulous windows that open to beautiful ocean view while eagles soar by while nesting near by. Access to beach would be challenging for young and old. A BBQ would be a nice addition.

  Sunset Hideaway Stay

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Sunset Hideaway on Camano Island and it was a fantastic experience. The property was spacious and perfectly accommodated our needs. It offered a breathtaking view that added to the overall serenity of our stay. Everything was exactly as described in the listing, which is always appreciated. The cleanliness and amenities provided made our visit very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting. Looking forward to our next stay!

Cute spot in Utsalady Bay

The house is spacious and the property grounds are sprawling, beautiful and peaceful. The views from inside and out are phenomenal. The kitchen is a bit barebones for the group of avid cooks, but we got creative and made do with what was there. 5 minute drive to the Commons (Baked Cafe, etc. etc.) for great coffee, pastries, fresh breads, killer smashburgers, ice cream, etc. 7 minutes to the local IGA for groceries or another few minutes down the road for QFC or Haggen in Stanwood.

Great house, amazing views, and tons of elbow room. The stairs to the beach are blocked off for safety, but you can still enjoy amazing views of the water. This house has a lot of common area space inside and outside. Two of the beds were very comfortable, one of the beds felt like it had a cheap mattress. The rest of the home felt quality. There is both a drip coffee post and a Keurig style. We used both as the drip machine takes a little while to brew so our first cup was from the Keurig while the pot brewed. The property feels very private and secluded at the end of the road and behind a community gate. We had issues with the front door not allowing us to type our code in and it took a dozen attempts for the code to work. You have to type the code in as fast as you can and even then the lock may time out. Just keep trying. It could be low batteries, so hopefully the management company addressed this. This was a great stay and we’ll definitely come back.

I love this property. We stayed 3 nights in early August 2024. The views are fantastic! The house is great and the location is private. Nice deck. The yard is spacious with mature trees. We saw rabbits, eagles flying in and out of nearby trees, and otters in the water. I can’t say enough good things about this place! If I visit the area again, I will book this home.

Exceptional beauty

The pictures online do not do justice to this spectacular location and house. The weather was also amazing so our time was perfect. Watching eagles soar, spectacular sunsets, panoramic views while enjoying our family - it was lovely. The layout and accommodations were spacious. Loved having room for everyone. (There were 6 of us.)

Like so many rentals, the TV is not user friendly--no easy access to network tv etc. Otherwise very nice place with excellent view of the sound

Perfect NW Retreat

Imagine a house located in the middle of a several acred park with manicured lawns and plantings with benches located at key viewing points with a large fire pit for s’mores in the evening with seclusion on 3 sides by mature forest of Douglas firs, Ceaders, Blue Spurr trees and on the 4th side the puget sound, the San Juan Islands and the Olempia mountains. To add to the pleasure of this place, eagles are nested in these trees providing their own unique activities. The house over looks the sound from a high bluff that provides an un obstructed view of the water and islands. From inside the house the rooms facing the sound are ceiling to floor windows so as to provide optimum viewing of this lovely seascape. The house provided all we needed for an enjoyable long week. Now locate all this in the heart of the skaggit valley 10 minutes to Inerstate 5 with access to the northern cascade mountains or to Seattle or to the San Juan Islands. All I can say is I’ll be back.

5 big stars for location, view, deck space, serene surroundings, comfy beds, open floor plan, large side yard, and management response. 3 stars for everything else. Most inside decor and sparse kitchenware feels/looks thrifted; low quality; like in a hurry to furnish. Tired vibe. Outdoor deck, railing, and all windows were filthy including bird poop(came next day to clean after alerting them). We spent 1 hr cleaning outdoors upon arrival to be comfortable. No board games, nor functional outdoor games. Downstairs tv did not work. One bedsheets smelled like mildew, so we washed them before use. Outdoor gas fire pit has no chairs. Fruit trees and beach are unaccessable. Outside of house had lots of debris and appears neglected. With some better furnishings and outdoor upkeep, this rental would be great.
