This tiny home is a perfect little jewel box, most thoughtfully outfitted. It feels luxurious and that's exactly what we needed that weekend. Very comfortable bed and dreamy interiors. Facing straight out into Rosario Straits, it feels secluded, although there really is not much privacy or buffer from the neighboring homes. It felt a little awkward to take a hot tub because there was no privacy screening -and this would make a huge difference. The beach is beautiful but we got yelled at by some old lady down the way not wanting strangers walking on the beach, I guess. Otherwise, it was perfect!

This location has a beautiful view of the ocean from the living room, bedroom and out door patio. Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful patio faces the sunset with a table for having dinner while watching the sunset and lucky us we got to see orcas eating their dinner at the same time. Inside is decorated in such a modern clean decor. Very comfortable and cozy. Has all the little extras you may need. Great hot tub under the stars . Very enjoyable stay.

Incredible place. Stone’s throw from the ocean, with a beautiful beach to walk forever. Saw gray whales which was incredible. House is great, with beautiful views from bedroom of ocean and the lights of Victoria in the distance. Hot tub perfect. Loved watching the fighter jets take off and land. If you want to get away and really disconnect, this is the spot.

A beutiful spot

If you are looking for a romantic getaway with spectacular views, this is the place. The home was well represented online and had all of the excellent touches to make your stay great. I had been planning this romantic getaway to propose to my girlfriend, and the sunsets here didn't disappoint!

Perfect getaway for two

Beach, birds, driftwood, exactly as pictured. Hot tub was wonderful. We did not use the firepit but it looked inviting. Jets were an experience, but not outside of reasonable hours. Inside was nicely decorated and had everything we needed.

Quiet Get-Away

I rented this cabin for my spouse’s New Year’s Day birthday. The views are stunning! We had a very quiet weekend as the jets were not flying over the holiday. The cabin its self is very comfortable and clean. They had all the necessary amenities. We really enjoyed having a hot tub to watch the stars at night and listen to the waves. Would highly recommend staying here.

Hidden Gem

Luxury retreat off the beaten path. Well appointed. An exquisite gem perfect for a single person like me or a romantic getaway for a couple. Compact with every detail beautifully considered (and what a comfy bed!). If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, crashing waves and exceptional sunsets from the comfort of the deck with the added bonus of hearing Taps played every evening at sunset (such an unexpected treat from the naval base), this is the place. Novels could be written here. And the hot tub and fire pit! Perfection. Dean was attentive to all questions and always responded within moments. Loved my stay here on Whidbey Island.

Midwesterners in Awe!

My husband and I are from the Midwest, we were looking for a short getaway to a part of the country we had never seen. This place and Washington did not disappoint! The landscape of this area is breathtaking, so many beautiful sights to see and this location puts you in the middle of 3 different National Parks within a short scenic road trip. We chose to drive Hwy 20 to North Cascades and did some mild hiking along the route and rented a boat for the day. We also booked a whale watching trip in Anacortes. We ended each day trip back at this wonderful location, enjoyed the hot tub under the stars and woke up to beautiful ocean view. The planes going over just added to the charm of this place, they were really neat to see, and even though they flew in the evenings they never disturbed our sleep. Check in and out was easy and had detailed instructions on how to use the amenities. Hosts were wonderful and included some welcome gifts that were much appreciated. They really have taken the time and effort to make sure your stay is carefree, with a lot of little details. Would recommend this stay to anyone!

Disappointed

The place looked amazing, however there was a strong disgusting smell that took over in waves. The owner didn’t address it. He also violated VRBO policies and ADA laws by not allowing my fully trained service dog on the property. I had my heart set on spending my elopement honeymoon here so I didn’t report him. I really loved the location of this property. The views were perfect and beach access is always nice, but I don’t think I would stay here again and I regret not looking for another place. It looks so nice in photos, but is really not worth it. It would’ve been nicer to camp at the park, but my disability prevents me from doing so.

Our family lives just north of Whidbey Island in the beautiful Skagit Valley. Suzanne and I actually met on Whidbey Island, so it has always held a special place in our hearts.

We enjoy sharing Moran Shores with guests and take pride in providing a clean, comfortable and thoughtfully stocked home. We respect your privacy during your stay, but we are always available if you need help or have questions.

We have always loved Whidbey Island’s beaches, sunsets and connection to the water. When we found this property beside Moran’s Beach, we saw the opportunity to create a special waterfront retreat designed specifically for two.

The north end of the island offers easy access to Deception Pass, Oak Harbor, Anacortes and the surrounding region, but the home itself feels closely connected to the beach and Salish Sea.

We especially love the west-facing views, changing shoreline and dramatic sunsets. We are grateful to share Moran Shores with guests who appreciate this unique setting.
