Artist couple Heidrun and Hans Werner Kratzsch offer you three vacation apartments in the idyllic natural setting of the island of Rügen, right on the water. The apartments range in size up to 94 m² and are furnished in a blend of modern and nostalgic styles. Soak up the sun at any time of day on the two balconies of our first-floor apartment, or enjoy breakfast right by the water. Plus, in all of our apartments, you can watch the sunrise over the Bodden straight from your bed.


Enjoy the unique tranquility while watching the cranes on their way to their winter quarters or our heron in front of the house.

In the summer, you can swim in the Bodden, use our rowboat, and go on a discovery tour. In the fall, our guests come to fish and watch the bird migration, among other things; in the winter, they come to warm up by the fireplace or go ice skating in front of the house when it freezes. In the spring, when nature around the studio comes to life, long hikes and bike rides are ideal. That’s also when the migratory birds return. For those who still don’t want to lose touch with the outside world, we offer internet access (Wi-Fi) in our vacation apartments.
