Kükeltje—your favorite little thatched-roof retreat in Tinnum.

Arrive, take a deep breath, and relax: Our lovingly furnished Kükeltje is a charming 2-room duplex vacation apartment with a thatched roof in the heart of Tinnum—perfect for couples or small families with a child.

In the light-filled living and dining area, you’ll find a cozy sofa nook for relaxing evenings as well as modern technology for your entertainment. The open, high-quality kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and invites you to prepare delicious vacation meals together—whether it’s a leisurely breakfast or a cozy dinner after a day at the beach.

Accessible via a slightly steeper staircase, the bedroom in the attic offers a very special retreat with a large double bed and a lovingly designed small sleeping alcove —ideal for a child up to about 1.20 m tall. In the stylish bathroom with a bathtub-shower combination, you can relax at the end of the day and look forward to new days on the island.

Furnished with great attention to detail, the apartment reflects the charming Long Island design: elegant oak parquet flooring, light colors, and custom-built woodwork create a warm, cozy atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home.

The approximately 1,600 m² property surrounding the Kükeltje is bordered by traditional Frisian earthen walls and features a park-like communal garden with a lawn for sunbathing. In your own beach chair, you can enjoy the sun, read a good book, or simply unwind.

Your four-legged friend is also very welcome here!
A private parking space right next to the house ensures a stress-free arrival—and Tinnum, with its green meadows, small paths, and proximity to Westerland, is perfect for walks, bike rides, and relaxing days on the island.

Look forward to a restful getaway on Sylt—at the Kükeltje, you’ll find North German coziness, plenty of warmth, and the perfect temporary home.
