You’ll be staying right in the heart of the village, nestled in the lush greenery of the beautiful Westerwald above the Wied Valley. Enjoy stunning views of the Fockenbach Valley and the surrounding countryside.
Here, you’ll find pure peace and relaxation. The fantastic night sky will delight any stargazer. The meadow behind the house is perfect for breakfast surrounded by greenery.
A small garden shed with a table, chairs, and a grill is also available.

The vacation home is an old farmhouse dating back to 1911. The apartment is approximately 100 square meters.
We 2023-2024 renovated the house ourselves with great care and love. There are several bedrooms. The large living room also features a cozy sleeper sofa that can accommodate two additional guests. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher and other appliances, offers everything you need to prepare meals. A spacious bathroom with a tub, shower, and toilet is available, as is a washing machine. All in all, it’s a home where you’ll feel right at home.

It’s just a short distance to the Rhine, Moselle, and Ahr rivers; the Butterfly Garden; museums; Sea-Life; Drachenfels; Rommersdorf Abbey; Maria Laach on Lake Laach; the world’s largest cold-water geyser in Andernach; Arenfels Castle; Neuwied Zoo; Linz Castle with its Roman glassblowing workshop; the Stone Age Museum at Morepos Castle; Wiedtalbad with its sauna facilities in Hausen; the Kristall-Rheinpark-Therme in Bad Hönningen, the Nativity Scene Hiking Trail, and the Christmas Village in Waldbreitbach. Hachenburg, with its museum and brewery, is worth a visit. There are car ferries in Linz and Rheinbrohl, as well as the new Roman Limes Museum in Rheinbrohl. Hikes into the romantic side valleys (Focken-Els, Wall, or Masbach valleys) offer plenty of variety. On the Finkenberg, along the Westerwaldsteig, or on the Hardtskopf near Verscheid, a launch site for hang gliders and paragliders with a view invites hikers to take a break. The Bärenkopfweg and the Klosterweg are also nearby.
