Perfect accommodation, away from it all

Just returned from a glorious week's stay at the cottage. My wife and I , together with our 12 year old daughter could not recommend the place highly enough. It has been renovated to an excellent standard with plenty of outdoor space. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom and well equipped kitchen. The area is very remote and the use of a car is a must, the local town of Provins (20 mins away) is stunning with all the amenities you'll need. We went to Disney Paris for a couple of days which is a very easy 45 minute drive. This is a definite get away from it all location, exactly what we wanted. The site stated a DVD player and cable TV, neither of which were available and the Wi-Fi is a little slow. None of this was a problem and we just relaxed and read a little more.

Sorry for cable tv and cd ... we did not realize it was indicated as existing. We withdrew it immediately. As for TV, it is a normal TV with antenna and numerous channels.

C'est l'endroit idéal quand on veut profiter de la campagne et la nature et faire une pause loin de la ville ! Les hôtes sont charmants et très accueillants ! Le cadre est vraiment idyllique ! Un vrai coin de paradis pour toute la famille car tout le monde peut y trouver son compte, y compris pour notre chat qui a pleuré pendant tout le trajet de retour alors qu'il ne le fait jamais !

Week end de 3 jours

Nous avons passé un super week end de Pâques avec un très bon accueil de Alain et Michèle. Lieu très agréable avec l'étang dans lequel nous avons pu pêcher. Provins est vraiment à côté avec des commerces de qualité. Nous reviendrons sans doute en famille. Merci encore à nos hôtes

Très bon séjour

Très bon séjour chez Alain et Michele . Maison fonctionnelle propre bien décorée juste ’à côté de un étang. Où est-ce que on peut pêcher et faire des balades le matin le soir on est vraiment à la campagne on a beaucoup apprécié l’accueil et la gentillesse des Propriétaire. Merci encore

Sejour agreable ,maison bien equipé et propre. Lac a proximité entretenue . Cependant on a appris durant notre sejour qu' il est interdit de pecher depuis un bateau ou une barque ca serai bien de le preciser dans l'annonce .

Entspannung in der Natur

Wir waren eine Woche dort und haben es sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber Michelle und Alain waren super lieb und hilfsbereit 😊 mit dem Zug ist Paris super easy und günstig zu erreichen und auch die kleinen Städtchen drumherum wie Provins oder auch Troyes sind einen Ausflug wert. Ansonsten kann man dort super abschalten und die Ruhe genießen ☺️

Calme et Ressourçant

Très bon week-end au vert dans cette petite maison bien agréable au bord d'un magnifique étang. Charmants propriétaires, jolie ville de Provins juste à côté. Attention nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter du poêle à bois, dommage.

Séjour très très agréable

Idéalement située, cette location nous a permis de passer 5 jours très agréables entre parties de pêche et visite des alentours. L'accueil est impeccable, tout comme le logement. On reviendra avec plaisir.

INCROYABLE SEJOUR

Nous avons passé un fabuleux séjour chez Alain et Michèle qui ont été aux petits soins afin de s'assurer que nous passions une semaine parfait. La maison est très fonctionnelle, le domaine est magnifique, idéal pour de longues balades ou du footing. Nous avons également pu faire de belles parties de pétanque et de ping-pong !! Le cadre est idéal pour un week-end en famille ou entre amis. Nous n'avons q'une hâte : revenir.

Nice house in peaceful surroundings not far from medieval Provins.

We had a very good time. The house is cute and has all facilities. The hosts were nice and attentive. The rose garden and lake behind the house are peaceful and great for a stroll. Medieval Provins is near and it is well worth a visit (it is not as well known in the Netherlands as it should be). Fontainebleau is not too far either. We really recommend this place!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour; propriété très bien équipée avec un très bel étang, un beau jardin . Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié les différents jouets et livres mis à disposition, notamment le tir à l'arc, les balançoires, la tyrolienne dans le jardin Très bon accueil de la part du propriétaire. Idéal pour passer un bon moment dans un havre de paix proche de paris

Alain a été un hôte parfait. Il nous a accueilli pour la remise des clés avec visite de la propriété et du jardin . La maison est propre et fonctionnelle .Il y à tout ce qu’il faut pour les enfants Le lac est magnifique et privé. Idéal pour la pêche . Je recommande vivement.

Superb Country Setting

Everything about our stay was perfect, the cottage had everything you could ask for. The hosts were extremely nice and also helpful, though as the cottage was fabulously equipped we had no call to bother them after the meet and greet except to pass on the keys as we left. A lovely garden (equipped with a table and chairs) that leads onto a wonderful lake. Our dog also accompanied us on the 5 night holiday and loved the walk around the lake. A perfect place to unwind. If driving back from Paris I recommend a break at LA TOURELLE 77. 1 Rue de Melun, 77220 Tournan-en-Brie where we had a great meal and a couple of carafes of the house red.

Huit jours passés en mars dans ce gîte confortable et tranquille, parfaitement équipé. L’étang vaste très beau tout proche de la maison est propice à d’agréables promenades. De plus, le contact avec les propriétaires est chaleureux et convivial. Une bonne adresse.

Après avoir vécu dans plusieurs pays, mon mari français et moi (américaine) sommes revenus dans la maison que sa famille habite depuis plusieurs générations. Les gîtes se trouvent dans le même hameau, nous pouvons donc vous donner des conseils sur ce qu'il y a à faire dans la région ou à Paris. Nous aimons échanger avec vous.

Dopo aver vissuto in diversi paesi, io (americana) e mio marito francese siamo tornati nella casa in cui la sua famiglia ha vissuto per diverse generazioni. I cottage si trovano nella stessa frazione, quindi possiamo dare consigli su cosa fare nella regione o a Parigi.
Ci piace parlare con i nostri ospiti.

My husband grew up in this hamlet, following in the footsteps of his father, grandfather and before. The Brie region is beautiful; one of the 'breadbaskets' of France with its vast fields of wheat, corn, barley...

Mon mari a grandi dans ce hameau, suivant les traces de son père, de son grand-père et avant lui. La région de la Brie est magnifique ; c'est l'un des "greniers à blé" de la France, avec ses vastes champs de blé, de maïs, d'orge...

Mio marito è cresciuto in questo borgo, seguendo le orme del padre, del nonno e prima ancora. La regione di Brie è bellissima; uno dei "panieri" della Francia con i suoi vasti campi di grano, mais, orzo...

In a well kept park with a lake. View on the garden and the private lake. The cottage is only an hour from Paris (by train to avoid driving) and Disneyland. It is also the perfect and quiet spot to discover the "Champagne road" (little villages, good restaurants, caves), many castles (Fontainebleau, Vaux le Vicomte, La Motte Tilly), la Roseraie in Provins...

Dans un parc bien entretenu avec un lac. Vue sur le jardin et le lac privé. La maison est à seulement une heure de Paris (en train pour éviter de conduire) et de Disneyland. C'est aussi l'endroit parfait et tranquille pour découvrir la "route du Champagne" (petits villages, bons restaurants, grottes), de nombreux châteaux (Fontainebleau, Vaux le Vicomte, La Motte Tilly), la Roseraie à Provins...
