Our vacation rental is part of our home. The apartment was completely renovated in 2025. It has a separate entrance accessible via the covered terrace, where you can enjoy the fresh North Sea air at any time.
The hallway leads to all the rooms, most of which are equipped with underfloor heating.
The cozy living/dining area invites you to relax. The modern kitchen offers everything you need to prepare your meals: a four-burner ceramic cooktop, an oven with a pyrolytic cleaning function, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a dishwasher. The counter isn’t just for eating meals—it also serves as a divider between the kitchen and the living area. The sofa invites you to read a good book, enjoy a relaxing evening watching TV, or use its sleep function to take a nap. There is a flat-screen TV with Wi-Fi. Here, as in all other rooms, the windows are fitted with pleated blinds.
For restful nights, a 2 x 2-meter double bed awaits you in the bedroom. A dresser and a closet provide ample storage space for your clothes. Pleated blinds are installed here to block out the light.
After a lovely day at the beach or a relaxing bike ride, you’ll look forward to the spacious shower in the bathroom. The bathroom is also equipped with a toilet and a large sink. The bathroom cabinets provide ample space to store your toiletries.
You can wash sweaty or dirty laundry in the provided washing machine.
A dryer ensures you won’t have to wait long for your clothes to dry. Both appliances are located in the utility room, which is part of the apartment. Here you’ll find other useful items such as a vacuum cleaner and a mop, etc.
Osteel has approximately 3,000 residents and is the largest municipality in the Brookmerland collective municipality in terms of area. David Fabricuis and Klaus Störtebeker are arguably the most famous figures in our municipality and this region. In this context, the Evangelical Lutheran Warnfried Church in Osteel is also worth mentioning. Its interior is of art-historical significance beyond the region.
The rural surroundings ensure a relaxing stay and invite you to go hiking on foot or by bike. The nearby Lütetsburg Forest and its park are also highly recommended. Centrally located, the towns of Norden, Emden, and Aurich are great places to go shopping. The routes there can also be covered by bike.
These pastimes are surpassed only by the unique experiences offered by the Wadden Sea. The North Sea ports of Norddeich, Greetsiel, Bensersiel, and others not only make you want to linger and explore local attractions—such as the Otto Tower in Pilsum—but also allow you to take a ferry to the East Frisian Islands.
The ferry ride alone is an experience in itself. Each island has its own charm, as you’ll discover. They all have one thing in common: wide beaches and the North Sea.
