Lake Störmthaler is an artificial lake located south of Leipzig. It was created by flooding the southeastern part of the former Espenhain open-pit lignite mine.

The “Pirate’s Nest” family apartment, designed in a maisonette style, has a living area of 113 m². The first floor features a bedroom, a bathroom with a toilet and shower, and an infrared sauna. The upper floor consists of a large combined living and dining area with a built-in kitchen, a sitting area, and a living room suite (with a sofa bed), a bedroom, and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. On the roof is a large, partially covered terrace with seating.
