Med 3 soveværelser (1 konge, 5 dronning, 4 komplette badeværelser, to spisestue borde siddepladser 12 plus bar siddepladser og fuldt udstyret køkken er dette en perfekt familie komme sammen! Indgangsparti, dæk og balkon udsigt over bugten. Pejs - er til rådighed (for vores vinter gæster) Huset har en åben layout med masser af plads til familie får sammen - og masser af plads til at komme væk for at læse en bog. Bredbånd WiFi, mange liggestole og borde! ....... Nyde stranden. Denne strand er næsten 9 miles lang - Havglas, skaller, fisk, der er alle slags skatte at finde!

Har din morgenkaffe se delfiner svømme ret off kysten! Saml Sea glas (vi har en overflod) fisk lige ud for kysten, eller gå til fiskeri molen. Fange krabber og kog dem op til middag. Dette er blot et fantastisk sted. Når du ønsker alle craziness af den udvej området Virginia Beach - du kan få det - det er lige op ad vejen - omkring 20 minutter! Så! Du kan komme tilbage til den skønhed og tilregnelighed af Willoughby Spit! En stor plads siden 1667! 'Google' Willoughby Spit!

This is a wonderful home to enjoy with your family. There are plenty of rooms and bathrooms, a large kitchen and 3 porches facing the beach that make dinnertime and mornings a delight. The beach is a short walk away-sandy, private and in low tide very shallow and warm-perfect for children wanting to explore the tidal pools around the barrier rocks. There were sea kayaks, beach chairs and toys available in a bin which made the stay fun for all of us. We would love to stay again, with its quick access to the airport, groceries, the botanical gardens, the aquarium, and the Fort Monroe seawall walk. You are near the naval base so get to enjoy a variety of ships, helicopters and planes, but that was more fun than a bother. Overall this home offers wonderful relaxation in a beautiful space.

We had a great time in Willoughby Split. The house is a short walk down to the beach and it's great swimming in the Chessapeake Bay. It's especially nice for kids, where the ocean can be concerning. There are some beach chairs and kayaks at the house. The view from the rear decks is beautiful. The house itself is big, beautiful, clean and very well appointed. There is plenty of room for a family to spread out (there were 9 of us). There are multiple decks front and back. The area has a lot to do. Virginia Beach isn't far, neither is Norfolk. There are boat trips in Norfolk and the Nauticus museum and battleship to visit. There is a AAA minor league (Norfolk Tides) ballpark nearby as well. I highly recommend this property!

Family stay.

Perfect location for the family to gather on the beach. Close to my sons wedding venue. The house gave us a nice room to spread out. The grandkids loved being on the beach every day.

Family get away

We took a multi generation family trip. The house had plenty room for the entire family. The flow of ships coming and going was very interesting.

Awesome House

Our group had an amazing time! House was awesome! Large kitchen was great for everyone to hangout and provided enough room for the chefs in the family! Game room on the first floor provided great entertainment for the kids! Beach was so clean, close and very quiet! Highly recommend this property!

Awesome stay

House was Amazing! Short walk over dune to the beach. There were 10 of us and this house was perfect due to 4 full baths. We would definitely stay again. We had a a couple questions and Greg instantly reached out. Excellent customer service!

Memorial Day weekend

The house was spacious and beautiful! The host was very accommodating and responded quickly to my questions. Beds were comfy and towels were soft. We needed to get a few baking pans from the store to make our meals, but there were ample pots and pans, utensils. The beach was nice and clean. We had a great weekend and we hope to stay here again next Memorial Day!

Ocean Week

Great house with basically our own beach on weekdays. Close to grocery and fish houses. House has plenty of space with high chair and pack & play for infant.

One of the best days ever

My husband and I rented the place for my daughter's engagement and we could not have found a greater place for the price. The kids r enjoyed the game room and the adults enjoyed the scenery. It was kinda hard to get our guest to leave because the house gave you a sense of relaxation. We would definitely use Cindy again. She was easy tho contact and there if needed.

Family reunion

Location of property was as describer, it had plenty of room. House was adequately clean except for some carpeting . Since we rented early in season there were a few things that need to be checked and repaired. These have been pointed out and many I hope have been addressed. Outdoor furniture needs to be updated and if u use the kayaks u need your own life jackets . Nice access to beach, and watching naval ships and container ship go by was a lot of fun.

Beautiful trip to the beach

We had a wonderful week at the beach with our family. The house was better than descibed. We woke up each morning to sit on one of the balconies and enjoy our coffee while watching the ships come in or out. It was great seeing all of the helicopters fly over and very convenient to get anywhere we wanted to go. Lots of space for all of us to spread out and not be on top of each other. We would definitely stay here again. When we got there the ac on the top 2 floors wasn't working right but they had window units in to keep it cool until they fixed it on Monday. Everything you could need in the kitchen amd the game room was a lot of fun.

Some TLC needed

Amanda, the property manager, was very helpful and responded very quickly. There was plenty of seating on the middle floor for a family to gather. The view of the bay was awesome. The house was not very clean, however. There was mold on the ceiling of 1 of the bathrooms, the carpet was very dirty, there were empty beer cans left in the nightstand, the grill was filthy and there were maggots in the garbage can. The cleaning crew and the maintenance crew can definitely step up their game. There were other areas of the house that needed attention. The decks need staining and the entire home needs a coat of paint.

This is the House for You

This is the perfect house if you don’t mind traffic noise 24 hours a day—I64 is one block away. It’s also perfect if you’re looking for a house that’s decorated in thrift store bargain finds. Or if you don’t mind walls that need painting. Or a master bedroom that has no covering of any kind on the French doors to the deck. Or locks on the French doors that didn’t work but that had sliding locks that none of us could get open without tools. Or a tree up against the house that bangs relentlessly on a bedroom during heavy winds. Or vinyl blinds that work or don’t work and are missing some slats. Or mattresses that are a century old. Or carpeting and rugs that are absolutely filthy. If these are to your liking, then this is the house for you at $5700/week.

Tons of room but several issues began to stack up

We booked this place for its size and central location for us who have family in Norfolk and Hampton. It was nice to be on the water but the construction on the tunnel made it challenging at times but anywhere on this side of the bay deals with that problem. There were several issues both large and small that made for some challenges for us. The larger issues involved black mold in the master bedroom. The carpet was so damp by the shower where the mold was, small mushrooms were growing out of it. The ceiling below this area also would leak into the kitchen and was beginning to fall off. We let the property manager know about the state of the ceiling and conditions of carpet in the master and really all upstairs. This really needs to be addressed for future guests. Property manager was wonderful to work with. Other issues were the top deck needs to be replaced like the others have. Boards were popping out and rusty screws as well. Be careful if barefoot. Parking was an issue especially for a group like ours that had 5 cars. They only leave you one section of the 3 sections of driveway to use and the gravel on the side. A place that sleeps 12 could easily have 6 cars. Small issues were no shades in master for deck door. Was very bright. Many dead light bulbs or non working lamps, Coffee maker was broken, didn’t have enough towels, etc. This place was great for a large group and we did enjoy ourselves but the issues must be addressed. First Vrbo experience

Nice home. I would return if ever in the area again. I did look at reviews prior to booking my stay. I would have to agree with some other reviewers that the house could benefit from a deeper cleaning. The dust level was pretty thick on the blinds, window seals, and under the bed in the downstair’s two-bed bedroom along with thick cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. There were some ants in that bedroom and attached bathroom. Dirt and leaf debris tracking inside the house from the front porch would be eliminated with a good sweeping of the front porch. It’ll improve the curb appeal as well. Some of the chairs, both inside and outside, need tightening and/or replacing. My (adult) nephew fell out of the kitchen counter chair when the leg broke as he attempted to get out the chair. I’m hoping this doesn’t impact my refundable deposit as I have not received it yet. Some of the outside furniture is rusted and the chair backs don’t stay in place. Overall, despite the above mentioned, it is a lovely house, great location, nice beach front, nice rec-room, plenty of space, numerous decks, etc. The communication with the property was prompt.

The pictures are outdated and misleading. There is zero view of any water except from the master bedroom. Made it awkward for others to come into our bedroom just to see water view . The path to the “beach” was overgrown with pickers and trees and not handicap friendly at all. Very long walk to beach which was mostly broken shells anyway . Not soft sand. The path was barely wide enough for 1 . The beach was not as seen in pictures online at all. House was infested with ants. They did offer to come spray but we had a child with lung issues and didn’t want to chance it but no other option was given. The dryer took 6 cycles to dry clothes. The master toilet had issues flushing. The one bedroom was so small there was barely room for an adult to get out of bed on the one side. Exterior Doors were difficult to lock even with directions from management. The driveway is overgrown making it difficult to back out onto a busy road. It’s not very soundproof . The interstate is next to the house. Furniture and furnishings/ housewar all very worn. Carpet very dirty. Air hockey table barely had air and was very wobbly and had wires sticking out of the bottom so we couldn’t use . You share the driveway with tenant who lives in the garage which is attached to the house you rent . That was not disclosed. Railings inside house loose. Patio furniture old and rusted and missing bolts . Very flimsy. Roof over porches not closed in so when it rains no shelter . Very disappointed for the price .

Excellent location close to the beach!

Very easy process for check-in and check-out. Very clean property. Easy communication with host. Description was very precise except one important fact. There are only 5 bedrooms not 6 as announced.

Nice big house but view of beach is not the best.

This is a very nice big house. However, replacing some of the patio furniture/and or cushions is highly recommended. Also the coffee pot was broken and I had to buy one. The gas grill was so dirty, we could not use it. When I contacted my contact person, she said someone would come the next day to take care of it. No one showed. If you like a private beach this is a perfect location although the house is a little further from the beach than it looks in the photos and the beach view is not that great. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great house for family group of 12, ages 11-74.

Layout is great, kids loved the game room and private study where they did crafts and puzzles. Great beach, warm water, no waves and sandy bottom. Only complaint is the traffic noise from I 64 and upholstery and carpets needed to be steam cleaned.

We had some issues with the refrigerator, and the toilet and sink. It took all week but the issues were addressed. Our family would stay at this property again.

Overall great location, spacious, great access to beach, great views from porches. Biggest complaint was the kitchen - Fridge/freezer froze up and wouldn't dispense water or ice (it was fixed), but the refrigerator just barely keep things cold. The kitchen faucet was loose when we arrived on Saturday and would dispense either cold or hot water - just lukewarm. They repaired on Monday, but is still loose and needs replacing. The gas cooktop has a burner which constantly has the starter clicking - you cannot make it stop. Known problem (they left us a note). Seems would be better to fix it vs leaving a note. Pots, pans griddle all in sad shape as well as knives. So the kitchen was a big negative, but rest was good.
