Dear Guests, a warm welcome to beautiful Lindau on Lake Constance. Since 2001, I have been offering my guesthouse, Rosengarten (with a separate entrance), which consists of two living units located in the front part of my townhouse in the Lindau-Reutin neighborhood. You’ll be staying in a central location on a pedestrian street (dead-end), just a 5-minute walk from cozy restaurants and the Lindaupark shopping center and Lidl. There’s a bakery and a butcher shop right around the corner. The nearest public playground is only 100 meters away. The vacation apartments offer an excellent starting point for your leisure activities: - 1-minute walk to the city bus stop (Köchlin Lines 4 and 5) – buses run every 30 minutes - 5-minute walk to the bike rental station - 15-minute walk to the Lindau Thermal Baths - 20-minute walk to Lindau Island. Lindau is the starting point for beautiful hikes in the Lake Constance region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). In the summer, it’s worth visiting the Bregenz Festival or taking a hike to the Pfänder. You can take courses at the local sailing, surfing, or diving school at any time. A variety of wellness options, as well as a visit to the Lindau Thermal Baths, will round out your vacation. In winter, we serve as the gateway to ski trips in the Alps via the ski train from Lochau. Directions by car: Take the A96 (Munich–Lindau), exit at Weißensberg, head toward Lindau, and continue straight on Kemptener Straße until you reach Gasthaus Köchlin. At the intersection, turn left onto Reutiner Straße and take the second exit at the roundabout onto Bazienstraße. At the next intersection, turn onto the traffic-calmed play street (dead end), Exerzierweg No. 14. Your destination is on the right-hand side. Public parking is available on the street. If you’re arriving by train or boat, take the city bus to Gasthof Köchlin (lines 4 and 5). From there, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to your vacation rental. I hope you have a safe trip to Lake Constance and a wonderful vacation. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.
