Blue Water Suite ligger kun få skridt væk fra Friday Harbor Ferry Landing, frisk opdateret Blue Water Suite er perfekt beliggende for at afslappede flugt. Forlad din bil bag og bare gå videre til færgen, fly ind på Kenmore Air, eller ankomme med privat båd!

Som navnet antyder, er Blue Water Suite ligger lige over Blue Water Bar and Grill og tilbyder nem adgang til shopping, restauranter, og er centralt beliggende til hvalsafari og kajaksejlads afrejse destinationer. Suiten har direkte udsigt til færgeterminalen og fredagshavnen Marina.

Køkkenet er fuldt udstyret med rækkevidde, mikroovn, og køleskab (men ingen opvaskemaskine). Stuen er indrettet med et stort fladskærms-tv med satellit-tjeneste samt en sovesofa. Soveværelset har en king size seng og har et separat fladskærms-tv.

Badeværelset er pænt flisebelagt med et stort badekar. Karret har en strækker sprøjte i stedet for et brusehoved. Der er også en vaskemaskine og tørretumbler til dem med et længere ophold.

This property is all about location front and center downtown Friday Harbor. The rental is large with great widows overlooking the water, the ferry, and you can people watch on the street below. It's a little dark inside, and there are no closets. The King size bed was very comfortable. The Jacuzzi tub is huge and big enough for two people. There are several really good restaraunts easy walking distance within a couple blocks. This is an upstairs unit with no elevator so be ready to pack your luggage up one floor of stairs. There is no parking lot, but I was able to park right in front of the entrance in a 2 hr parking zone (8am-5pm) then move up the hill 3 or floor blocks to 10 hour parking. Parking si nto enforced overnight so I could park right by the entrance. Parking was not an issue but we were there in April. May be more difficult in peak season. Overall, for us in late April, this is a great place to stay in a great location. I would definately stay there again.

Very enjoyable stay!

It was a beautiful location with great views of the harbor. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. We were very comfortable and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great location

This location was perfect! Across from ferry we would sit in dining room and watch the ferry it was awesome and we rarely heard the horn. Close to food shops and popular sites. The place was clean and accommodating.

Great spot

Had a great trip. Great location and an overall fun feel to this unique property! Perfect for two. Bring your own wine glasses if you require them.

Anniversary adventurers

My husband wanted an active vacation for our 38th anniversary, and San Juan Island didn’t disappoint. We really didn’t need a car to enjoy kayaking, whale watching, hiking, e-bikes all around the island. It was a spectacular location for all.

Convenient, Clean and comfortable

Great location! Easy access to restaurants, ferry & shopping. Very comfortable. Clean & had everything we needed. Ear plugs were a great suggestion as early morning ferries & traffic are loud. Handheld shower & large tub took some agility. Would definitely stay again.

Can’t beat this location!

This location was perfect! Amazing view of the harbor and so many shops/restaurants with in walking distance. The only tips I would give is to bring ear plugs as the ferry traffic and street traffic can get loud at night. Also prepare for parking. Street parking is pretty limited.

Great location!

Located in the heart of Friday Harbor. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. A little loud in the morning when the first ferry comes in but after that not bad at all. Rented a car from M&W (easy walk to pick up and drop off) to explore the island. Enjoyed strolling the marina looking at boats. All whale watch boats take off a block away from the rental. Would stay here again if we make it back.

Great time!

It was the perfect place to stay for the 3 of us. It was unfortunately 80+ degrees which made the apartment 100. Recommend bringing an iPad or computer if you want to stream anything at night, as the tvs don’t have streaming capabilities and the town shuts down early but they do provide cable! Great space, bathtub and kitchen. Amazing views!

Best view ever

So I love the location and I really like this condo. There's a few little things that can be fixed like the sink and maybe new furniture. Furniture now is pretty worn out. The hideaway bed is terrible. But overall I stay there every time I go to the island.

This rental was in a wonderful location, and was really nice on the inside! We were blown away when we walked into a quaint and adorable place to stay. At the end of a long day of adventuring we were excited to watch tv, cook in the kitchen, and sleep in the big bed! Our only complaint is the shower was challenging to use and often leaked no matter how precocious we were. Overall loved staying here, thank you for a great time!

The location is right in the center of town and that’s the good part and the bad part. When the ferry comes in at 5 AM and 40 big rigs are unloaded you can hear every sound. The unit has everything you need except an air conditioner it is really hot at night. Beware of the shower it’s a hose connected into a Jacuzzi tub, which requires you to step over a 15 inch ledge.The description on the website says there are 10 steps leading up to the unit that is incorrect. There are two sets of 10 steps leading up to the unit.

Great Central Location! Walking distance to Everything!

It was our anniversary trip and Harbor View was a great location for us to walk to everything in Friday Harbor. Time of year was perfect so no AC was needed. It was quite loud every morning with ferry horns and just outside traffic. Construction right outside with big trucks really early in the morning so that was a negative. One thing I would suggest is some nicer bedding, down comforter and better sheets? It was a spacious unit with lots of seating. Overall we had a great experience and would come back!

Reviewer Comments: The Blue Water suite was well located but smelled like fried food and the location was exceptionally noisy above a bar with a live band and trucks coming off the ferry at 5:30. This may have been obvious to people familiar with Friday Harbor but to someone who isn't familiar, that information should have been made clear.

We apologize if the description of the Blue Water Suite did not make it clear the Suite is right above the Blue Water Bar & Grill restaurant as well as next to the Ferry Landing. We do our best to describe our rental properties as accurately as possible. As described, this Suite is very handy for those looking to stay in the heart of downtown Friday Harbor and have the Ferry, shopping, activities, and restaurants within walking distance. Being in that close of proximity to the restaurants and the main Port will have some downsides. We are sorry your stay at the Blue Water Suite was unsatisfactory.

But there are some small issues: the couches are worn out and have no support; they're very uncomfortable. Also, a number of the handles/locks on the windows simply fell off when we used them. The blade on one of the steak knives broke off when we used it. So, some minor upkeep is needed. But, given the wonderful location and great views, we were able to look past these issues.

There was dried food on the bedspread in multiple places (hopefully it was food) so we took it off. The bathtub was really dirty and so we scrubbed it before use and sadly the tub faucet had been removed so it took 3 hours to fill the tub with water. Which by then the water was cold. The tub was the only reason we chose the location. That was a huge disappointment. For the price I am not sure we would stay again unless the tub was fixed but we enjoyed the island and the hospitality of the blue water bar and grill.

We are very apologetic about the issues you faced during your stay. We will certainly touch base with our cleaning staff about the bed spread and the bathtub. Unfortunately the faucet issue has not been a simple fix, due to the fact that this is a historic building and requires special tools and parts. We are very sorry the tub was not up to par for your stay at the Blue Water Suite. We can assure you we are working towards the resolve of the bathroom faucet so our guests may use the faucet and not just the removable shower-head to fill the tub.

No Internet, despite saying so in the listing

I don't know why it's on the listing. Their instructions also said to place dishes in the dishwasher...there's no dishwasher either. Oh, and the hairdryer is broken. They do, for some reason, spend money on Direct TV. So that's good if you want to pretend like it's 2001. Apparently it's really hard to get internet on the island. Which is fine, but stop lying about it. It's in a good location, though.
