The Explorer er et rummeligt studie med en queensize-seng og en enkelt bærbar seng, et velassorteret tekøkken og privat 3/4 bad. Det er fuldt møbleret med komfortable møbler, nye små apparater og en elektrisk pejs.

Enhver eller alle Acanthus Suites kan lejes til forskellige gruppestørrelser!

We loved our stay. The room was large and the bed was comfy. All the shops, restuarants and harbor were only a short walk away.

Everything was very clean & cozy. Perfect location for Friday Harbor - 5 min from ferry. Not far from other parts of the island you’ll definitely want to explore. Walking distance to town for food & shopping.

The Suite was very clean and spacious. Having a second room with lovely woodwork, table and chairs, a microwave and mini fridge was a real plus. It comes complete with an electric fireplace and two comfortable easy chairs for reading. The suite is within walking distance of the whole downtown area, and yet is very quiet. Being in old house, we could hear the footsteps, but not the voices, of guests in the room above ours.

Friday Harbor on Argyle Street

It was such a charming place to stay. We loved that it was built so long ago with the beautiful wood furnishing. We especislly loved the picture of the kids and enjoyed thinking about what life was like for them back then. We loved our stay!

Perfect accommodation, perfect location.

The perfect base if you are looking to discover all the beauty Friday Harbor has to offer. An easy walk into the heart of town and only stone's throw to the local brewery. Would definitely stay again!

Great location. Very clean

Great location. Rental was accurately described. Only negative is that there are no optional shades for the windows. I stayed at this location for my night shift rotations so I had to sleep during the day, and with the lack of shades or curtains, it was light and very hard to sleep

Cute space but rough experience

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall I was pretty unhappy with this place considering the cost. It’s an old house sale it was very loud when other gas came in and out the front door near our door. The bed was very uncomfortable and they were stains on the sheets. There were no coverings to block out the light in the early morning. And I think they claimed that the bed was king size but it was a queen. It was also a little dusty. The pros were it was close to town and easy to walk there.

Walkable from the ferry, and in walking distance to everything we wanted to do in Friday Harbor, it made an easy trip to adventure, take a break and relax and then get out and explore again. I couldn’t be more happy with my stay. This place was quiet and quaint and an easy walk to everything in Friday Harbor, from coffee to the local brewery to whale watching tours.

Great place. Great location. Super easy to walk to everything in Friday Harbor. Super easy to drive to everywhere on the island. Could’ve been a bit better stocked. Coffee mugs to go with the coffee maker?!? Also, smelled like mothballs when we arrived. So, some candles or incense could’ve helped. But, first world problems. We aired it out and it was fine. Would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all, this house must have been stunning before it was "cut up" into rentals. That being said, the remodel work is amazing with lots of care being taken to keep the feel of this home. Secondly, the place was immaculately clean. Also, the mattress was just right! Easy to find in the dark coming off the ferry; a short walk into town. A wonderful jumping off place for SJI, but also for the other islands if you want to check them out. One note: the kitchenette doesn't have a stove/burner, just a microwave, so if you plan on cooking The Explorer might not be for you.

Friday Harbor Stay in Explorer Suite

The place was perfectly located for ease in walking downtown where food, beverages and shopping awaits! The manager was easy to chat with, as needed. I think the Pandemic cleaning is overstated.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is in a great location. You are literally 1 min from town. We enjoyed our stay overall. However we originally booked a room with a separate bedroom away from the living room. We have a young son that goes to bed early. Our original unit needed maintenance, and we were moved to a larger unit, but it didn’t have a separate room. It defeated the purpose of my original booking. The space’s heater takes a long time to warm up the room. Although it did eventually.San Juan accommodations are painfully expensive for what you get out of it. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend in San Juan!

Winter vacation

This location is nice and convenient. Walking distance to everything in Friday Harbor, and a quick drive to anywhere we needed to go. Will stay here again.
