The Eagles Nest is an excellent choice if staying in the Ozarks. It has a beautiful view from the balcony. Located in a 20 minute drive from a variety of entertainment and restaurants. It was clean upon arrival and had an easy, detailed sheet of how things are to work in the eagle nest. Towels, eating utensils, coffee, and hair tools were provided which were a plus. The Eagles Nest was very cozy, with the bed and chairs being very comfortable and soft. Everything about this place has been very carefully thought out. We loved it and definitely will be coming back.

Nice place to relax

Eagles Nest was perfect for our weekend getaway! Away from the hustle and bustle of Branson but close enough to drive there in a few minutes. Beautiful scenery, clean room with everything we needed.

Location, Location, Location

We loved the peacefulness of the location yet a quick drive and central location to Dogwood Canyon, Branson and the showboat dinner cruise. We spent mornings with coffee on the deck overlooking the mountains, then afternoon trips out, then back for the calm and beauty of the sunset. Well needed vacay!

Eagles Nest Getaway

This was a great place to stay in Branson. Not too far from all the fun things to do but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. We particularly loved the view from the deck, that was one of our favorite things. The cabin was nice also, everything you could want or need. The bed was so comfortable. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be going back for sure!

Weekend getaway

My husband and I just wanted a quiet place to come and relax for the weekend and that's just what our stay here was! We liked that this guest house was private and quiet, but not too far from places to eat, etc. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The view is amazing and the deck would be wonderful in cooler weather! We would definitely stay here again!!

Very relaxing and comfortable

This was our second stay here and we were glad to see it was available. It is peaceful place and helped us relax and enjoy a few days which was needed. The room is awesome with great accomadations amd we love the view. They even have soft music playing while you sit on the deck. Highly recommend for a relaxing qnd cozy vacation

Escape the Branson hub

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Eagle's Nest and immensely enjoyed our stay. We found the property via VRBO and we impressed with the views and location. We do not live in town and were wanting a secluded spot close to "The Strip" but far enough to get out of town at the end of a long day.

Great deck!

We had a lovely stay here. Great view, deck, price, and hot tub. It was away from it all yet close to everything, too. The only thing we would have liked is a grill (maybe on bottom level since it can't be on deck) and love seat or sofa to sit on. We did have a great time!

Maybe we can create a safe place on the ground. And, we have talked about replacing the recliner with a love seat, in the future. Good ideas! Glad you had an enjoyable visit!

Thanks for the compliment! So glad you enjoyed your stay! We think Eagles Nest is a pretty special place. In response to the vacuuming... Eagles Nest is a guest house and not a hotel. It's more of a "home away from home". That is the way that most VRBO properties work. Also, you'll find that most VRBO properties charge an automatic cleaning fee. We do not. Most of our guests would rather vacuum and wash their own dishes, than to pay an extra fee for someone else to do it. It's just a different way of traveling. Personally, my wife and I enjoy staying at VRBO properties (and cleaning up after ourselves) when we travel.

Awesome stay

We were able to stay two nights at the Eagle's Nest and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Beautiful scenery! The bathroom was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. We so wished we could have stayed longer. Wes and Tricia thought of everything we would need and had it available. So appreciate all the personal touches.

Quiet, peaceful place

We truly enjoyed our stay. The owners were very kind and responsive to our needs. I would add that this location is not suitable for those with physical limitations as parking is on a steep incline, and the suite is at the top of a staircase. The panoramic view is gorgeous and the quietness was very relaxing. We found a fabulous pizza place nearby called Mr. Gilberti‘s that we highly recommend!

Beautiful/Quiet Getaway

I loved the location, beautiful view, very quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the "world" yet close to everything. Accommodations were lovely, tastefully decorated with more than the luxuries of home. The owners were pleasant and extremely easy to work with. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings and watching the world go by (without being part of it). It was a wonderful setting and I will visit again!!!!

2nd Stay :) great views

This was our second stay at Wes’s place. We love this little tucked away from the city apartment. It’s quiet, peaceful, and a beautiful view. We will definitely stay here again if we’re able. The only complaints I say we have is there is not enough hot water to fill the whirlpool tub up and then someone take a shower and the toilet is a little loose. But other than these 2 smaller things we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

BEYOND EXPECTATION, BEYOND WONDERFUL

Nothing could have been improved. The owner was fabulous. The room was perfect. The view...THERE ARE NOT WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE VIEW! This place is close to everything yet far enough away to be perfectly peaceful and quiet. Very romantic and private, too. The music playing from the deck next door is delightful. We were celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary and feel as though we've found our new Branson home. Just do yourself the biggest favor ever and rent the Eagle's Nest today!

Private and Relaxing

The property was exactly as stated. Communicating with the owners was easy, with quick replies to our questions. The transaction was easy, the security deposit was quickly refunded, and in my opinion, the rental provided good value. We spent a few minutes every morning and evening on the balcony, enjoying the view. The drive to Branson took 15-20 minutes, but didn't feel inconvenient. Even though the owners are on the same property, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The Eagles Nest is above a garage with a gable roof, so be careful to not hit your head (like I did) on the sloping inside walls. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend this property.

Excellent Getaway

Eagle's Nest is a great place to stay. It's just off the beaten path, away from the hustle and bustle of Branson and Silver Dollar City. Yet, it's so close to everything too. From Eagle's Nest, you can easily find back roads to most any local attraction and beat the tourist traffic. The cabin was clean and tidy with a cozy feel without being cramped. The bed was comfortable and my wife absolutely loved the incredibly soft blankets. The view from the balcony was amazing! Wes was very accommodating and happy to help with any needs. He even mailed my wife's charger without even being asked. I don't know that I would try to fit a large family in Eagle's Nest. But for a romantic getaway, or a family with a small child, this would be a perfect stop to escape the craziness of life.

Relaxing getaway

We decided to drive down to Branson for a weekend getaway and found this property was available to book. The communication from Wes made our check-in super easy. Location was great because it allowed us to be close enough to shows, shopping, or golfing and then enjoy a quieter more relaxing evening away from the crowds. The whirlpool tub was a welcome treat after being out and about all day (36 holes of golf and the Tanger Outlet Mall). We picked up a pizza from Mr Gilberti's and sat on the deck to enjoy. (Great pizza.) The owners of this property have done a wonderful job making their guests feel at home. What makes this a luxury retreat are the little extra touches that say, "Welcome. We're glad you are here. " The fresh flowers on the nightstand and chocolates was a nice touch. Internet connectivity was great and I was able to work a few hours on my laptop while relaxing in the chair one morning. The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars for the experience is due to rainy weather and Branson traffic. Neither of these things can be controlled by the owners of this property, but they did dampen the overall vacation experience. 20 mins. to travel 6 miles in Branson requires patience. Plan accordingly if you're going to a show. The holiday weekend may have contributed to the heavier traffic, but this is how we have always known it to be in Branson. We hope to stay again soon. Perfect weekend retreat.

Very nice little retreat for my and the wife. Communication was perfect, location was close to what we were wanting, the view was nice. Parking was a little tough because of the size of my truck, but wasn't anything that would change my mind about coming back. The room was clean and all linens and towels were clean and smelled fresh. The bed and pillows were comfortable (I'm picky on those). The carpet does have traffic wear and is coming up on needing replaced. The furniture was dated, but fit the theme of the room and property its self. Only thing I'd add would be a little privacy wall on one side of the deck to give you and the other unit Next door a little more privacy during the busy months. I'll definitely be coming back to eagles nest for another weekend getaway.
