The host was very welcoming and responsive. The apartment is nice and in a very good area. All the amenities are nice and the apartment is very well decorated. I will stay here again. If I am able I would recommend this apartment 100%.

Great location & nice apartment

Very good host and friendly helpful folks everywhere. Everything you need is nearby although you have to bear in mind you are in the city, so it’s not quiet. Safe area.

Amazing place in the heart of El Cangrejo

El Cangrejo is amazing all with all the different places to eat . The apartment is in a perfect location, all you need to do is walk out the door and you can find anything you want. The owners were super helpful if we had questions they would get back to us right away. We love this apartment and neighborhood. We absolutely​ would recommend this place to anyone.

Great apartment in a safe and convenient location

One of the nicer properties we've stayed at. Overall very good with a few minor issues (internet was a bit sporadic and at times very slow). Very spacious living area. Very nice owner. Secure building.

Excellent Property in Fun and Vibrant Neighborhood

Six week stay in Panama City. Property and neighborhood are ideal for easy access to the park, transportation, and a variety of restaurants. The gym was not usable during our stay and needs work. The pool was well maintained, the security staff were outstanding, and the owner was very responsive to our questions and needs.

Great Condo. Great Neighborhood.

We loved our stay. The condo was clean and the kitchen was well stocked if you decided to cook. The neighborhood was outstanding. You walk out of the condo on to Via Argentina in the neighborhood of El Cangrejo. The selection of restaurants in this part of town is second to none and a very safe place to walk around, day or night. Thanks Susan. It was a wonderful place to spend our Xmas.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time staying in this property. We were looking for a vibrant neighborhood, and were delighted with the location. There is a wide variety of good restaurants and coffee shops within a few blocks of the property, and it was a quick walk to other neighborhoods. The host proactively provided all the info we needed, and was very prompt and responsive. Everything went exactly as the host said it would. The property was extremely clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the shower was good. We felt at home in this personally decorated space. The floor to ceiling windows in the living room allow a lot of light in and provide a nice skyline view of the city. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. This will be our first choice to recommend to friends and family staying in Panama City.

If you are looking for a PERFECT apartment for your vacation. STOP LOOKING. This is the place. No better location will be found in El Congrejo. The Host is super responsive. The apartment is gorgeous. The building and residents are really friendly. The staff at the security desk were super helpful (always). You are steps away from the best restaurants on Avenida Argentina and within walking distance of incredible shopping. The rooftop pool was never crowded. THIS IS YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME. If this property is available when we return we will not consider any other property to stay. Super safe walkable neighborhood. We walked every nite after dinner. I could go on forever about this place. Suffice to say, we loved it and think the property owner is the best I have ever engaged with.

Dental Tourism

Great place to relax in the middle of a safe and active neighborhood. Plenty of taxis around to carry you where you need to go. Enjoyed the rooftop pool overlooking the city and felt safe in a building with security guards there at all times. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and bakeries.

Good but

This is a nice property with a great location. Great restaurants and grocery stores in close walking proximity. Good access to cabs, public transit, etc to everything Panama City has to offer. We were disappointed in a number of things. The pool was closed. The fitness facility was closed. We couldn’t get the TV to work. The shower needs maintenance.

Great stay, great location, responsive host

Our first time in Panama. Went to Spanish school in the area so stayed in this apartment. Great location for school and food. Very safe building and neighborhood. We had a couple small issues (wifi and ac) but the owner was on them immediately and were solved in an hour each. Would highly recommend this place.

Cozy apartment in the center of things!

Susan was a wonderful host and we had such a lovely time at her place. We spent a lot of time at home as we worked from there due to pandemic restrictions. There is a nice coworking place just down the, though. The location is excellent for access to restaurants and all areas of the city. It's a nice neighborhood and the building is very quiet and private. Black out shades in the bedroom were wonderful, as the neighborhood is well lit from the neighborhood sports park. On weekends, we could hear music from the bars, but they shut down around 11 and it was not anything as loud as Europe. If it might bother you, have some good earplugs, but really you should just go out and enjoy! The wifi was adequate for 2 people working with video calls, although one person would be better. I think it was 25 down and about 5 up or so. It only went out a couple of times and never for more than a few minutes. Only once for an hour. I had a hot spot back up, which is recommended for Panama generally. The kitchen had lots of equipment and Mimi Frusteria a block away or so had great produce and basic ingredients. Get brunch at Annie and Mott's nearby. The Power Club gym around the corner was also excellent. All in all, a great place for a short stay and good for longer ones too!

super place

We came after Xmas and , of course, the lockdown started. Our owner gave us updated information constantly from the government sites. The apartment is spacious with a lovely balcony which has an attractive landscape. Here are the best parts: clean drinking water, strong water pressure, tons of pots and pans with ample dishes and cutlery, garbage is picked up by a custodian, fantastic pool and comfortable bed. There is a nice park across the street where there are many people relaxing and exercising and wonderful restaurants close by. the gym is 5 minutes away and is the best gym we have seen. Everything is central including the grocery store. Thanks to Susan for hosting this amazing place.

Panama City condo in a great location

Property had everything we needed, within walking distance of reataurants, plenty of affordable taxis available when desired. First-time visitors to Panama and it was relatively easy.

Great apartment and neighbourhood

We stayed at the apartment for a week. It was comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the area. So many restaurants and an impressive park across the street. Susan was very helpful and responded to all our questions quickly. We were very happy that the apartment came with a parking space in the garage as finding a spot on the street could be challenging. My husband enjoyed the rooftop pool several times. Thank you Susan for sharing your place with us. We would recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Panama City.

Excellent Accommodations in Panama City

My wife and I spent two weeks in Panama City in August and were lucky to find this beautiful apartment. One bed and one bath was just what we needed. As a bonus there is a refreshing rooftop swimming pool which we used a few times. The local area has lots of nearby restaurants. There was heavy construction on the street out front at the time of our visit, but that will surely end and from what I can see, the outside will look pretty nice. The owner was responsive and very helpful by email. The apartment comes with a parking space inside the building. Driving up to the 4th level in the garage requires some tight turns, and if anyone is coming from the other direction, someone needs to wait. This only happened one time for us and it was not a problem. You probably don't want to take an oversized SUV into the garage though. Thanks very much, Susan!

We love El Cangrejo - it is the best downtown neighborhood. It has an old world, retro feel with modern and low-rise buildings and is shady, 100% walkable, everything (cafes, restaurants, grocery, bakery, tattoo shops, markets, pharmacy, clinic, salons, boutiques, etc) is within steps of our place. There's a beautiful park across the street with isometric exercise equipment. It is the next most visited neighborhood after the Old City for its natural charm, shady streets, and friendly people. Have fun - can you spot the street art frogs around town?

Live like a local and walk our shady streets, shop our markets, sample the cafes, use our easy local transportation to get around. You are truly in a neighborhood and not an isolated in a high-rise condo. El Cangrejo is an ideal location to start your explorations of the city and experience life like a local.
