Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this guest's lack of respect for the clearly communicated rules. Right after she booked , she contacted me directly by phone with several questions about bringing a boat, specifically asking she could tie it to the dock during the day. I explained in detail that while I do provide boat parking, it is absolutely not permitted to dock the boat-day or night-due to serious safety and property concerns. Despite this, The gust ignored the rules and docked the boat anyway, even when the water was rough. I have photo evidence of this. This family showed no regards for the rules and acted as if they simply didn't care. In Okanagan nobody allows boat to be tied to private dock more than 5 minutes. It's unfortunate when guests choose to disregard what was clearly discussed and agreed upon. I've made sure to clearly describe the stairs in the listing so guests can make and informed decision before booking and all guest feel comfortable and well-prepered for their stay and they are very safe and well maintained. Also, please keep in mind that this is British Columbia, a province know for its beautiful hills and nature elevation.We located on a gentle hillside, which is very common in this are. The water is clean and beautiful, and perfectly safe to drink. However, (for all guests) and for this guest,I provide 8 -18 L bottles of fresh drinking water along with a powered dispenser - just in case they preferred that over drinking from the tab.However,I understand that some guests still prefer to bring their own water, which is completely fine as well. When the guest's daughter arrived first, I give her a tour of the property, I also showed her the garage door and posted out that just two steps from the BBQ in the garage there is an additional protein tang available if needed. For medical reason, I cannot be in the sun, so I water the plants in the evening, always when no one is outside on the upper level. I want to make it clear that I do not shed any part of house or upper level with my guests- they have completely privacy during their stay. The dogs are not barking, but I want to make it clear that I do not have dogs living on the property my family came for short visit. It's truly unfortunate that some people can become unkind just because they don't like bing told -NO-especialy when it involves important safety rules like: 1. No docking the boat, which is a safety and property protection issue. 2. Payment for additional guests as per our agreement the guests personally signed and initial Vacation Home Rental Agreement which clearly outlined all important house rules...including paying for any additional guests. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment- but that only works when guests honor the agreement they signed and initialed before they stay. Unfortunately I would not recommend this guest to anyone as they did not follow the house rules and attempted to damage my reputation by posting false information. What they claimed is simply not true.

Thank you for sharing your feedback.I want to address a few points to clarify the situation and ensure we have mutual understanding. As per Vacation Rental Agreement ,certain ares of the property are off limits, and it's important to follow these guidelines... but you did NOT due that ...Vacation Rental Agreement clearly say that this is not a party house and no bachelorette as well but you pretend that you did not know....and I allowed you to stay anyway. I take the cleanliness my property very seriously and if there were any issues such as mouse droppings, I wish they had been brought to my attention immediately. However, bace on my inspection after your stay, no such evidence was found or mentioned by you on walk- thrugh I strive to create a positive and respectful environment for all my guests. Based on your behaviour and the luck of respect shown during your stay,I will not be referring you to any rental platform for future stay. It's essential for both parties to maintain mutual respect and adhere to the rules of the property.

Alan and his group were delightful guests. They were very clean and respectful and left the house extremely clean which is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your tips but the knives sharpener was available for you in the kitchen drawer and Large colendar for draining pasta was in the Corner kitchen cabinets. I will highly recommend them to others and welcome them back anytime.

The problem with Anna and her family stay was that she only ever paid for 7 people, yet she brought 16 people plus visitors at various intervals. She did not pay the extra fee for the extra people. The price was based on upto 8 people and she had MUCH more than was ok. I am withhold her deposit until she covers the extra cost for the extra people. In addition, the many kids staying were running around upstairs like in a playground and making too much noise. This is what I was trying to get at but she misunderstood. Originally during the email conversation, I said it was ok to bring 10 people, but not without charge. And I never agreed to 16! The wifi and other instructions were provided in a house manual. I know that Anna's vietnamese culture may be different, but there are certain rules that we must follow: if we want to invite more guests, we must make that apparent to the host. Legally the person renting the suite should be staying on the property, and Ana was not... she just came for visit with another large group of people and some times had about 30 people over, some of whom stayed the night. When I spoke to the people staying, they did not understand why the air conditioner exhaust hose was disconnected from the window and was laying on the ground. As a result, the AC water reservoir overflowed and leaked a lot of water onto my brazilian cherry hardwood floor. The lady just laughed at me when I told her this was not ok. These people are inconsiderate and laughed in my face when I showed them the damage they were making. I'm going to be filing for damages and extra users fees against Anna. I would never recommend Anna for the aboive reasons.

Morise, Laurie and her family were excellent guests and very lovely and happy family.They were very clean and respectful. I will absolutely recommend this family to anyone. We wish them all the best and hope to see them again some day. Thank you for staying with us!

Mary and her group were a real pleasure to host.Thay communication was easy and enjoyable.Thay respect everything and everybody all the time. Mary celebrate her Mme Birthday but they pay attention to the rules and the same time enjoy the wonderful moment with family and friends!
