Thanks guys for choosing our property for your party and trip. On distance - It is 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.  Mostly highway miles.  We drive that daily to work ourselves.  There is a mall with all the big box stores just 10 minutes away as well. We like our place because it is far enough to get "out of the city" but close enough to get anywhere downtown that one would need to get to on a daily basis. Many guests will get an Uber from our place to downtown - like you all did. Almost all get here and realize how cool the location is and wish they'd planned more time at the villa. Usually on the pool we aren't using it so much but that week we had some visitors and used it a bit more - glad it worked out. Come again!!

On this reservation, we had a few problems beyond anyones' reasonable control. The oven had to be replaced. This guest wanted to use the 5.0 versus 2.4Ghz internet so we ordered an extender to make it faster and installed that during the stay. Master anti-slip mat - the guest just missed that there is one on the bathroom shelf. We just professionally cleaned the carpet. We deep clean it twice per year and vacuum it after each cleaning. A small spot behind the couch was missed. Lady bugs - we note in our public listing that once per year (right now) that is an issue for all properties in the area - no matter how nice they are. These are typically very difficult to keep out of any building. we are always happy to come and clean them out during your stay. Temperature is controlled by the owner because we have a zone system and if you do it wrong you could make the system work against itself. We adjust it when the guests ask. Pool towels - we are happy to supply more when asked. We will not be able to provide a filter and water for the refrigerator as it requires a major plumbing change. On the soap products we provide, we feel it’s a good product with Aloe Vera. We have hygienic refillable containers on the wall that dispense this. The kitchen and living room are adequate for most groups that stay and the situation here is an upgrade from the majority of hotels.

Thanks for staying with us. It is a bit frustrating though about this review since we clearly advertise that our road is a dirt road with some challenges and that should have been expected. Low reviews really hurt our property and our adoption efforts. We are continually working on the road and hope to put down some millings shortly to improve it greatly.

This guest is upset because they didn't like our cancellation policy and is trying to get back at us for enforcing it by giving us a bad review. This review is not based in any logic or fact.
