Intimate and quiet, absolutely private too, this exquisite kept in secret retreat, is probably one of the most romantic property on the Costa del Sol!

Intimate and private, La Almendra Blanca is a designer villa with large infinity pool and 300 degrees of uninterrupted sea views.
Set on a very peaceful hillside position 150 meters above sea level and surrounded by an exotic tropical garden of 2000 square meters, this unique home is the ideal place for a romantic escape in absolute intimacy but is also a perfect hideaway for families with children or a group of friends.

Freshly renovated and refurbished, its exquisite, chic and exclusive interior with an eclectic mix of Asian influence has been tastefully decorated by the owner herself who has spent a big part of her life in Bali. But without doubts, the jewel of this luxury villa is the immaculated infinity pool facing the endless Mediterranean Sea in absolute privacy.

Fabulous Villa

The villa was even better than it looked in the photos, the pool is big and amazing, the views are wonderful. Everything we needed was there, beds were comfy, BBQ dinners on the balcony were memorable - local octopus is delicious. You do need a car as Salobrena is a long trek

Outstanding holidays at a fantastic place

We spent a wonderful ten days at the villa. Everyone really enjoyed it. The layout of the house was perfect for us and the cleanliness of the rooms was very good. We particularly liked the style of the furnishings and the attention to detail. Last but not least, the breathtaking view should be emphasised, which makes the place very special. The service provided by the agency was also very friendly and courteous. We will be back very soon.

Great villa with fantastic views

Absolutely fantastic views and a very nice villa as well. A touch of Spanish and malaysian stile mix gives the villa a great feeling of 'zen', where you can really relax. Owner/bureau had made a lot of small gestures to let us feel welcome, which we really appreciated. Only thing to comment on could be the road on the foot of Monte Almendros, which can be heard, but you can surely have the greatest and most luxurious holliday ever in any case. Best recommendations from us.

Beautiful view in amazing location

High up overlooking the sea and old castle the villa is well placed to enjoy your stay. The house is lovely with good separation on the rooms which all have a great view. Kitchen is well appointed with everything you need for indoor or outdoor dining at home. Was a bit cool on our stay to enjoy the pool and we had to use the portable heaters in the mornings to warm things up but for March it was expected. Would highly recommend for a relaxing stay still within easy reach of Granada (<1 hour drive), Malaga (1.25 hrs) and the entire coast. Nerja caves are a great attraction for kids and are just 30 mins away. Lots to see and do in the area.

Perfect

Mara's property is wonderful, full of antiquities from around the world, areas of recluse and large social gathering points. Probably the best view in Andalusia greets you when entering the pool area. Nestled in the mountainside the view over the bay is breathtaking, a magnificent air display at dawn and dusk by the flight of local Swallows just adds to the appeal of this property. The bedrooms are really romantic and the bathrooms are both quirky, extravagant and functional. We had a marvelous stay and look forward to booking again in the near future. Mara was the perfect host and her tips and local advice were brilliant.

Delightful Villa

This Villa is a delightful well furnished villa.There were a couple of minor issues we had, but these were resolved quickly and to our 100% satisfaction.The only negative observation we have, although it did NOT affect our visit, is the spiral staircase upto the 3rd bedroom which is rather steep and not suitable for very young or elderly guests. This bedroom lacks an en suite and would necessitate trips up and down the spiral staircase to visit the toilet. I think this might be useful to point out, just in case guests were using this 3rd bedroom for young or elderly guests.Otherwise, the property is as listed with superb views

Lovely

Both the villa and the location are fabulous, the views really make this property something very special. I would suggest it is suitable for adults or families with older children due to low walls, not an issue for us though. Sadly I managed to break my arm during our holiday however this did not spoil our time, it just changed our plans meaning we spent much more time at the villa and this was a really enjoyable time. There is a good size pool (great for rehab of broken arm!). The master suite is spacious and comfortable and there are two more bedrooms - all with aircon. We cooked most days and even used the BBQ on one evening. The villa has a calm and tranquil feel, the owner has gone to great lengths to choose very beautiful and interesting items for guests to relax among. We would love to revisit one day.

Stunning villa & host

First of all, Mara is quite possibly the friendliest, most helpful host we’ve ever stayed with. I was really worried about arriving in the early hours of the morning, but Mara reassured me this would not be a problem. She was in contact for any questions we had which took any worries we might have had away. The Villa is beautiful. It is so spacious and airy, with amazing views from every room except the bathrooms! The pool is amazing… big enough to play in and lovely to enjoy the views from. There was everything you could need in the Villa - kitchenware, towels, coffee machine, washing machine…. We spent most of our time in the pool and sitting on the terrace just looking out at the views.. it never got boring! The town, including a Supercor and Lidl, are just a 5 minute drive away, so really easy to get to. We would definitely stay here again and feel that our holiday in the Villa was a really special one. Wonderful villa

The first thing we noticed was the stunning view over the sea and mountains, it really is fully 180 degrees. The villa is bigger than it looks on the website with more to see, we stay at different villas 2 or 3 times a year and this is one of the best, very spacious and individually furnished, it is more like staying in a home rather than a rental, even the kitchen knives were sharp not something we normally find. We spent most of the time on the terrace and in the lovely pool enjoying the view, the property is not overlooked. We also ate out in Salobrena old town - we recommend a taxi, driving/parking is a nightmare in the narrow streets, we also visited Alumencar, easier to navigate. Wi fi excellent, pool towels provided and lots of space for guests to spread out in. We would have liked a folder of information as usually provided with things like taxi numbers, local doctors and restaurant suggestions etc. as scanning the qr code and accessing information was inconvenient and not really relevant to the villa. No guest book either and it left us wondering if the villa had ever been rented out before. We had a great week with friends and would happily return in the future.

Dit appartement ligt op een buitengewoon mooi punt op de heuvel die uitkijkt over Salobreña. Met een groot terras heb je meer dan 180 graden panoramisch uitzicht. De tuin is mooi aangelegd en je hebt totale privacy zonder inkijk vanaf andere appartementen. Het zwembad (infinity) is ruim en comfortabel met het zelfde uitzicht. De auto in de garage is ook fijn. Contact met de host verliep goed helder en vlot via whatsapp. De service was ook goed. Een probleem met het zwembad en de bbq werden binnen een dag opgelost. De stad Salobreña heeft een strand met donkere steentjes, en een klein centrum. Er is wat meer te beleven in de dorpen iets verderop (Nerja, Almuñécar). Maar door het comfort van de villa hadden we weinig behoefte om op het strand te gaan liggen. De bedden waren goed. De wasmachine van goede kwaliteit. Fijne douches en goed uitgeruste badkamers. Kortom een aanrader!

Upon arrival, you are greeted with a fantastic view over the coast when you enter the property. If that is the most important thing for you, you have found the right place - truly an amazing outlook. The communications with the management company were good, and directions and access arrangements provided were easy to follow. The villa was easy to find and in a nice quiet residential location. Unfortunately, it was a shame that the kitchen wasn’t quite as clean as we’d expected and was small for the size of the property, and also very hot. The remainder of the property was clean and spacious. However, the bed in the main bedroom was hard, creaky, and not particularly comfortable. The information on the website says that there is air-conditioning in the villa, but this was only in the bedrooms. That worked very well but the remainder of the villa was very hot. The terrace area, although clearly swept clean, was probably in need of a pressure wash as the bottom of our feet became filthy each time we stepped out of the pool and onto the pool surround area. This possibly explains a ‘tide mark’ around pool and some discolouration of the pool floor and walls, as this dirt was probably finding its way into the pool. All in all, although it says in the advertisement that it is recently renovated, I’m not sure how recent it actually was. It felt a little tired and in need of some investment.

Ein wunderbares Haus mit einer fantastischen Aussicht. Check-in/out/Service vor Ort hat sehr gut geklappt. Der einzige Wermutstropfen war eine Baustelle unterhalb des Hauses die sich über eine Woche hingezogen hat. Die war leider mit teilweisen starkem Baulärm verbunden. Abbruch einer Mauer.

Einfach nur ein Traum

Alles an dieser Villa ist unglaublich .Wir hatten völlig entspannte Tage . Viel Liebe zum Detail, wundervolle Möbel, eine zauberhaft große Terrasse und ein mega schöner Infinitypool. Täglich haben wir uns wieder neu gefreut, dass es einfach an Nichts fehlte. Danke dafür.

La propriété est un havre de repos incroyable, Salobreña est accueillante et la période de mi-septembre à mi-Octobre est parfaite pour ceux qui aiment les températures plus fraîches que celles de l’été de la Costa Tropical. Nous avons eu 28 jours de soleil en autant de jours de présence.

Super Aussicht

Haben einen wirklich tollen Urlaub in der Villa verbracht. Sie ist sehr schön eingerichtet, aber die super Aussicht die kaum zu toppen ist, hat uns dazu gebracht das wir wohl noch mal wiederkommen müssen.

Von A-Z ein Traumurlaub. Das Haus ist aussergewöhnlich und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist einzigartig, wir können das Haus nur empfehlen. Carlos hat uns viele Tipps für Ausflüge und gute Restaurants gegeben. Sehr seriös, sehr nett.

Wunderschönes Haus mit Traumblick und äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet

Liebe Mara, Vielen Dank für die Traumwoche in Salobrena! Die Villa ist außergewöhnlich schön und besticht nicht nur durch einen traumhaften Rundblick von der Sierra Nevada bis über das Meer, sondern sie ist für ein Ferienhaus auch sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Hier sieht man, dass das Haus mit viel Liebe dekoriert wurde. Durch unsere Liebe zu Afrika und Asien haben wir uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus liegt weit oben auf einem Hügel und man hat eine tolle Sicht auf die Umgebung. Andere Häuser können aber nicht in das Anwesen schauen und so ist man vor Blicken geschützt. Ein Supermarkt ist ein paar Kilometer entfernt in Salobrena gut zu erreichen. Salobrena selbst ist ein netter Ort, mehr aber auch nicht. Strände gibt es schönere, aber wir sind eh lieber im Haus geblieben, weil es hier am allerschönsten ist. In 40 min. Fahrt ist man in Granada und kann die Alhambra besichtigen. Nerja ist auch nicht weit, hier kann man schön bummeln und es gibt schöne Geschäfte. Toll ist auch eine Flusswanderung im Rio Chillar, ca.30 min. entfernt. Bei der Hitze im August unbedingt zu empfehlen. Im Haus selbst war alles bestens, die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr gut und auch in der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man zum kochen braucht. Einziger „Kritikpunkt“ wären vielleicht die Liegen, die meistens durchgebrochene Leisten haben. Hier hatte ich ein wenig Angst dass sie ganz brechen, aber man konnte trotzdem bequem liegen. Es wird eine Herausforderung für uns sein ein ähnlich perfektes Haus für zukünftige Urlaube zu finden, weil hier einfach alles gepasst hat! Besonders schön war es, als der Nebel sich über das Meer gelegt hat und man das Gefühl hatte über den Wolken zu wohnen, wunderschön….
