Thank you for your review Tera. The steep and winding mountain roads here in the Great Smoky Mountains can be a little scary, but if you drive cautiously, you will not have any problems. I apologize for the pool guy coming on the second day of your stay. There was a communication snafu and he was supposed to have been there the day before. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this caused you. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the cabin and you had a wonderful getaway.

We truly understand your concerns about the drive and the unexpected construction noise from the neighboring property. While we do try to prepare guests for the mountainous terrain, we will take your feedback to heart and look into better ways to communicate the road conditions in advance, especially for guests not in off-road-capable vehicles. As for the construction, you are right — it is unfortunately outside of our direct control, but we do apologize for the disruption. We certainly understand how frustrating it must have been, especially when seeking a peaceful mountain getaway. We will do our best in the future to notify guests if we become aware of nearby projects that could impact their stay. We appreciate your honesty, and while we are sorry to hear this cabin wasnt the right fit for you, we hope you will consider staying with us again at a different location that might better suit your preferences.
