The best part of this condo was the location and access to the beach and the view of the ocean. The room was not as pictured. The furniture is different and much more worn. There was a loaner fridge in the unit when we stayed there and it was functional, but very small and used. The wine cooler was not functional and blowing hot air. The water heater cannot keep up with the unit and we only had 2 adults and 2 kids. The condo really needs a face lift with new furnishings and paint. There is also a musty smell that needs to be addressed. Overall, we really appreciated the location of the condo, however, we would likely not book this unit again due to the updates needed.

Worst Rental in decades of travel to Hilton

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit needs a refresh, repaint first thing we noticed when we walked in. Couch is broken down should be replaced, chairs are dirty and worn. Water heater ran out of hot water before our two showers were finished. Freezer needs work, bought ice cream ate soup visitor’s closet had musty odor and poor selection of TV entertainment, get a regular TV network. Poor selection of cooking utensils, pan. bed linens were horrible, fitted sheet does not fit the mattress. Sheet would come off of mattress during the night and wrinkle and crumble as you slept. Body sweat mattress protector made my body sweat because of plastics. Not a comfortable night at all, worshiper has the problem of most upright washers, mold. Hot water freezer doors look like there was water damage very badly on the place. Overall, a very very uncomfortable week. Sherwood is good, but this unit was bad.

The beach view was excellent! The property could use some sprucing up though. The furniture was really worn and cushion were broken down and uncomfortable. The mattress is worn out and dips in the middle. This is our third stay at Shorewood and this property was not as well kept as the other two. We were glad to be there and stay on the beach but would not book this one again!

Great location near Coligny Beach. Great pool for all ages with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The walk to the beach is easy, with automatic foot washers when you get back!The unit had plenty of space for our family of four.

Lovely location and view!

Being able to see and hear the surf is a treat at this 2nd floor condo! Very comfortable for a family of 4!

Everything You need on Hilton Head

Very clean, new appliances, AWSOME Pool and pool area. Right on the beech, close to everything, food, groceries, We Loved Dough Boy Pizza!!! Bike trails are Fantastic!

Perfect!

We had some great game nights at the dining table and movie nights in the cozy living room. Enjoyed the view during coffee every morning. We loved the place!

Beautiful condo

We enjoyed our week’s stay the last week of February. Weather was cool-cold, mostly sunny so we walked on the beach, went into the jacuzzi and visited the sites of Hilton Head. The condo is lovely, comfortable beds and furniture including a balcony where we could be in the sun but out of the wind on cool days. It fit our needs perfectly.

Great location and property, but unit needs a deep clean.

We really enjoyed our stay as this was a great location and the overall property was perfect. This unit is in dire need of a deep clean. There was literally a thick layer of dust on the tops of the kitchen cabinet doors and elsewhere. It seems as though quick surface cleaning is all this unit has had for some time. If that issue was resolved we would stay here again.

Beautiful Beach View, Bad Bed

The condo was lovely and the view was fantastic! The kitchen had most everything we needed but we did not do a ton of cooking. Unfortunately, the master bedroom mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and there was a very noticeable and noisy plastic sheet under the bottom sheet. Neither my husband or I slept well even one of the nights we were there. This was a big disappointment to us.

Great location, lovely view

Came down from NC to join friend who drove from So FL. We both enjoyed our casual week at the beach. Parked the cars and walked to shops and restaurants at Coligny. Perfect spot. Rental agents were very quick to respond to a couple of small issues with TV and blinds. The sofas were not very comfortable and we had some difficulty getting up into the patio chairs. Definitely need new flatware in the kitchen. We only found THREE FORKS! Also could use some hot pads.

Perfect views. Pool was amazing. Grounds are well kept and clean. Unit was not very clean, beds were horrible and uncomfortable. Unit had only one couch, not the 2 in the pictures. There was no comfortable place to sit, as the couch was old and sagging. Even kitchen chairs were not comfortable. Mold in bathroom, water damage on bottoms of doors, electrical switch plates were cracked, cabinet handles missing. Washing machine is moldy and dishwasher full of rust. Unit is in very poor condition. Towels and sheets were only thing clean in the place. Bedroom tv was also not working. Super disappointing

Nice place with a great view

We have traveled to Hilton Head since 2012 and have stayed at different resorts and homes along the southern half of the island. This place had a great view of the ocean and had easy access to the beach. The pool was very nice and so was the hot tub. There was four of use and we had plenty of room to hang out. The only issues we had with the place itself was the exhaust fans in the bathroom were not working properly, which management was going to address. The other thing was the dishwasher racks had lost their coating and were staring to rust. The management company was going to have someone inspect and replaces them. All and all we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. We are already looking forward to next years trip.

Master bedroom bed was so lumpy you could barely sleep. Pillows and blankets dirty,we went out and bought our own. Second bedroom same way and tv didn’t work because there was no cable box. Would never rent from this owner again and told the realtor that.
