Thank you for your 5 star review. We are glad you loved he house and also that you enjoyed exploring. It is a shame you experienced un-seasonal weather - Italy was experiencing heavy rain and floods which is very unusual in June when it should be very warm. We hope to hear from you another time. Thank you for your review. Sorry to hear you were lost! The house is very easy to find so I wonder if you didn't download the detailed directions we sent you which include directions, address, and co-ordinates for GPS and also 4 telephone numbers in case you need help. We are available 24 hours to assist and also meet you if you had issues but nobody received a call or any message asking for assistance. We are sorry about the bugs, as you will have noticed (arriving on the 25th September) that on Monday the 3rd October the entire area was affected by an invasion of these bugs to a level never seen before (we don't know if it was the culmination of 2 warm winters when bugs aren't killed and the massive heat and drought this year). Every property was affected and even brand new town houses with brand new windows and insect screens had problems. It was all over the news channels. Thankfully this hasn't happened before and we hope it will not ever recur. The difficulty is that these particular bugs crawl around windows and doors and simply fall in when one is opened. Usually with only a few seen here and there it is not a problem at all but with an area wide infestation it caused major issues to absolutely everyone and was not in any way the fault of the owner, or this spotless, well kept house which has beautiful hand made and properly fitted windows and shutters. It is a real shame that a fluke of nature has led to a 2 star review for this beautiful, and as you will see always popular property.
