We’re sorry this stay did not meet your expectations and would like to clarify a few points for future guests. When you contacted us about nighttime noise, we responded immediately. My husband, who is also an AC technician, came over promptly and confirmed the refrigerator was functioning normally. The only moderate noise identified was from the exterior AC unit, likely due to vibration from the temperature being set to 16°C. The exterior supports were reinforced, and we asked you to let us know if the adjustment resolved the issue. Despite several follow-up check-ins, we did not receive any indication that the problem continued. We are always quick to respond and happy to assist with any questions during a stay. The light switches and safe use standard configurations, and no prior guests have required additional instructions. The property provides club chairs with a coffee table and a full dining set on the porch, as shown in the listing. Pool or lawn loungers are not advertised or provided. The folding chairs mentioned are supplied for beach use. We were informed of your early departure on the morning you left, at which time you shared that the beach and area felt too hot for your comfort. Thank you Kerry for visiting again. As always it's a pleasure! It was unfortunate timing that the house next door was doing some finishing on their roof for a short while during your stay. The good news is that they are almost completely done (only a few more weeks so mid Jan will be done) and then we will have no construction anywhere around us as we are then with complete homes on all our sides. Hope to have you stay with us again in the future!

There are unfortunately many active construction sites in Palm Beach and Playa Grande and you will not find a place to stay without being near one. That being said the property two lots down are building but are very respectful and low key construction. Whenever I am preparing the house the noise is never intrusive. They even ask us to let them know when we have guests so they can keep the noise down wherever possible which is exceptionally kind. Lauren did not attempt to discuss any solutions with us where we could have offered the option of an alternate property of ours. She simply told us she had left and wanted a refund yet didn't cancel her remaining nights but instead held them keeping the calendar blocked for all her dates. It was under these circumstances that we were unable to offer a refund. It would have also been important for her to consider that any noise from surrounding properties is out of our control and we can only ensure we provide a great space with good service which we always do! All our other stays have clearly had very happy guests.

Patsy only spent a few days at the casa as soon after they arrived they had to go to San Jose for medical reasons for the remainder of their trip. Which we only learnt after they checked out because they never responded to any messages we sent repeatedly during their stay. Their communication was extremely bad and this was super frustrating for us. If the guests had at least communicated we could have offered them a discount for any days impacted by the landscaping project even though it was not in our control and we could not have known about it. I would urge guests looking to stay to read recent reviews and notice this particular guests comments are out of place.
