Julie's villa is the best villa we have rented so far, and we have rented a lot! It has everything you need and nothing that you don't. It is in a very peaceful residential location, with friendly neighbours. Julie the host is very easy to communicate with if you need her, its self check in and out with very good instructions. The villa is fabulously sited, as you can easily walk down into the front to access bars and restaurants. But the best thing without doubt is the pool that is in the sun all day, along with the much needed air conditioning in the rooms. If possible we would rate this a 10 but can only give a maximum of 5 *, we hope to be lucky enough to return to Julie's villa next year. If you want a truly relaxing, fabulously chilled out holiday we would definitely recommend this villa to do it in, it is absolutely beautiful.

We loved every part of our break at Casa Tia. The house is immaculate. The decor is beautiful and modern- it is so well equipped we were able to cook up a storm for a couple of nights. The pool area is fantastic, pool is large enough for a proper swim. Two large parasols meant we could keep shady areas outside so our daughter could stay out for a little longer during the day. Sun beds and sofas all very comfy. The beds are very comfortable, air con an absolute god send. Shower pressure is excellent and the water is always nice and hot. The filter tap in the kitchen is so useful as we were able to bring our usual reusable water bottles from home. TV setup was easy to use and meant we could give our girl some quiet time in the middle of the day when it was hottest. The villa is under 10 mins walk to the nearest beach/shop/bar and restaurant (Dia is well stocked, Trufi is good for a beach side drink, and Vesuvio does a great pizza! The beach is good for snorkelling on calm days and there are lifeguards. It's about 20 mins to the main Parque Commercial which has loads of great shops, restaurants and a bigger supermarket. The Argentinian restaurant wa particularly good. Would highly recommend, especially to young families. Julie was an excellent host, communication was faultless and she accommodated every thing we needed. Thank you. Had nice chats with the neighbours over the wall as well!

Fantastic Holiday

We stayed for 12 nights in July 2017 and had a wonderful holiday in Mojacar. We are a family of four with a 16 year old and 9 year old and both ages really enjoyed all the resort and villa had to offer. The villa was well equipped, really clean, the air conditioning and pool were a welcomed break from the heat! Julie was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We were on the doorstep to an amazing beach and wonderful bars and restaurants. We would recommend the following restaurants, Bella Vista, Torre Bahia and Sensations along with a great Tapas called Madero Tapas. Most restaurants were 12 euros for 3 courses, amazing value. If you have a hire car we would recommend Oasis Mini Hollywood great fun for all the family! Market day is Wednesday in the old town of Mojacar with some lovely restaurants for lunch and great views. If you arrive on a Sunday there is a supermarket open called Dia Maxi at the bottom of the street. Thanks again for a great holiday we hope to be back soon.

Not what we were expecting for the amount of money paid.

Unfortunately from when we arrived we felt as though now we had paid we didn’t matter. Two different names had been sent to us as local agents to meet us, on the day of arrival we were sent a message of how to let ourselves in as no agent was available, our stay was for just under a month, we never had one person check in on us, even though there was no information pack, no instructions on how anything worked. We had specified we wanted to be able to watch tv, despite several messages to owner eventually my husband had to purchase a VPN to enable us to do so. A week before we left there was a misunderstanding regarding trying to find film channel, owner had told us about apps, which she knew we have no real understanding of smart tv and she somehow cut off the VPN so we again were left with no tv. Nobody came to change bed linen or towels, we had one spare duvet cover, pillowcases and towels left on the spare bed. The “full bathroom” which has a distinct smell, has a jacuzzi bath, no instructions, a shower that floods the floor, and a large shower head which you can’t use as it pumps out brown water, a basin tap that once you have used it you don’t again because it feels as though it’s coming away, same as the toilet seat yet if you use the en-suite shower you need to be prepared that you might have a cockroach in the room with you. We had four during our stay. Also, had to purchase cleaning products as I needed to wash the floors the first day of the holiday as they were sticky and dirty, and the throws that were on the furniture. This could be down to “agent” not doing their job. The gated car parking area turns out to be too narrow and you have to park on the road opposite the house. The pool itself is kept very well but you have to sweep up the outside area everyday as there is always debris from the bushes which are quite thorny. The sun loungers need new covers as they are dirty and the material seems to be splitting. Went up to the roof terrace to take some photos and there were two piles of dog poo left up there. (We actually thought the property was a no pet property). We have never come away from a holiday early before, the first time the agent contacted us was to say what time she would be coming the day we were due to leave and we were already back home in England.

Sorry to see you had issues with the points you have stated. You were given the local agents contact details prior to your arrival who are a couple hence two names and you were given my contact details should you have any problems. On your your arrival day in the evening you did contact both our agent and myself about the TV issues which I resolved. The VPN was added by your husband via my Amazon Account, it was not purchased by him. I made you aware that I had numerous emails from Amazon as he had downloaded the VPN and films etc. I did have to close your access to my account which I made you aware of as it was not being used to download adult material. Which I did not want on my Amazon account. I did explain how you could continue to use the free apps on the tv or your own Amazon account for material you wished to access. The accommodation is booked on a self catering basis it is not a serviced property with bed changes etc. Extra linen and towels sets are left for renters to change themselves during their stay. Some issues such as the bathroom smells, brown water and cockroaches could have been due to the temporary water shutoff by the local water company which you informed me of and told me it was resolved the next day. Water problems are common in Spain and unfortunately out of my control. None of the other issues you have stated were reported during your stay even though I was in regular contact with you during your stay. In fact you stated in a message the house was lovely. The roof terrace is gated as it it not for general access, unfortunately feral cats can still access it which can result in fouling it was not dog foul. If you had contacted myself or our local agent about any of these matters we would have addressed them. I think your main issue was your problems with the tv technology which we did offer for our local agent to either come around and assist you with or via video call which you declined. I am sorry you felt this impacted upon your stay. We have never had complaints about the cleanliness or condition of the villa

Just Perfect

This is our second stay in this beautiful villa. It’s immaculate, spotless, comfortable, spacious and has everything we need. The pool is gorgeous and the outside space private and tranquil. It’s ideally located for the local restaurants, supermarket and beach and just 10 minutes taxi ride to the fabulous old town. We love it!

Parfait

Agréable villa située au centre de Mojacar playa a proximité de la mer. Il faut cependant mieux avoir une voiture. Cadre tres agréable tres calme. Piscine parfaite avec un entretien au top. Literie excellente. Un très bon choix et nous reviendrons sans hésiter

Fantastic Villa

This was our first holiday staying in a private villa and I think we were spoilt. The villa is fantastic. Everything we needed to make our stay really enjoyable. Fully equipted kitchen with great outside area. Spacious and comfy living room. Great showers in the bathrooms and plenty of storage space in the bedrooms & really comfy beds. The pool and outside space is beautiful and where we spent lazy days enjoying the sunshine. The villa is a short walk from a really good supermarket and a couple of nice restaurants. The main row of bars and restaurants are about 15mins walk which was fine. Mojacar pueblo is a beautiful place and a must to visit. Only a short taxi ride away. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Tia and would recommend if you are looking for a 5 star holiday villa. A real home from home with the added bonus of a pool and sunshine.

Fabulous, spacious, peaceful villa

We had a fantastic holiday in Mojacar staying in this beautiful villa. It was spotless, comfortable, spacious, lots of wardrobe and drawer space, everything we could possibly need. The pool and outside space was perfect and was lovely and cool inside for a break from the heat. It was so peaceful, we didn't hear a sound, yet only a few minutes walk down to the beach and restaurants. We highly recommend the 10 minute taxi ride to the old town of Mojacar in the mountain to wander the quaint streets, peruse the shops, dine in the fabulous restaurants and sit and watch the evening's entertainment in the square. We loved it!

A wonderful holiday at a beautiful Villa.

We had a wonderful 11 nights stay at this beautiful Villa. Calla Tia has everything you could possibly need with a fabulous view of the sea. Everything about this Villa is immaculate with all you could want to enjoy your stay. The pool and surrounding terrace is just perfection and we could not have asked for more. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from on an evening too (with a little leisurely walk !). We would definitely recommend this Villa for a wonderful holiday.

Gorgeous house with amazing views!

Gorgeous house with fabulous views of the sea! Everything you need inside including washing machine and fully equipped kitchen. Pool area is amazing with steps leading in great for kids, lights up at night making it look fabulous. Lots of space outside to have BBQ's or enjoy a nice dinner in the sun. Bedrooms all have bathrooms including lots of wardrobe space and all double rooms, living room space is great along with the patio area which has lots of seating and provides shading if you need to cool down or would like to sit inside for dinner. Short walks to lots of different restaurants, bars and supermarkets absolutely loved it!! Gorgeous house and place/location!

Fabulous stay

We've never been to Mojacar before and omg what a gorgeous place, had everything and I mean everything a family could want irrespective of age or preference. The villa was a lovely surprise as we'd seen fotos but they don't do Villa Casa Tia justice. The accommodation is so so spacious and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need or would want in your own home. The lounge is so huge and cool. The dining room is lovely with real ambience as the daylight dims. The villa is very tastefully decorated and manages to combine modern with traditional in a wonderfully clever way. The pool area has more than enough room to relax and rest and the pool itself is very clean and cool (not too cold)..what was also a very pleasant surprise is the peace and quiet which surrounds the area and gives you a real sense of being away from home. The view from the pool area over the sea is so spectacular and breathtaking. All in all I would certainly visit Mojacar again and would definitely stay at Casa Tia ..great value for money.

Excellent villa

I have just had a fab weeks holiday in this villa. The location couldn't be better, it's a short walk to the beach & restaurants. Although it's close to the action the location is peaceful. The villa itself is spacious, very clean & well equipped. The pool is this villas crowning glory. We didn't want to leave at the end of the week.
