An excellent stay

Fab location, tucked away but still only a very short walk to the town centre. Cosy, clean & characterful with everything you need for a few days away.

Clean warm cosy

Fantastic cottage with everything you could possibly need. Great location away from it all but also close to the town shops and Lake. Would definitely return.

Lovely cottage, great location with all the amenities you need for a fantastic holiday

The cottage is ideally located being only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Bowness. This has the advantage of having all restaurants, shops and pubs in easy walking distance without the noise.The cottage is beautiful and cosy ( would love to go back when there is snow on the hills) and the access to a small garden / reading area was an added bonus to sit out in the evenings. Overall I would happily recommend staying at this location.

lovely little cottage with just about everything you need

Really enjoyed our stay at Fellside all nicely finished and the little garden was lovely, good to have a parking place with it being so close (3mins) walk to the centre and lake , never been to the lakes before we were very fortunate to have good weather too possibly a picky comment but as I opened the wardrobe doors to hang our clothes up I was astonished at the rubbishy hangers other than that no complaint at all

Glad to read you had such an enjoyable and lovely stay at Fellside Cottage and hot to see the beautiful Lake District for the first time with the sun shining too! Disappointed regarding your comments re the hangers as there is supply of wooden, fabric covered and occasionally plastic ones (left by other guests) so unsure as to what you were expecting!!

Beautiful cosy cottage, perfect location.

Gorgeous cottage and ideal setup in the kitchen. I'm all about the food and fire so I would suggest bringing your own sharp knife for prep and definitely get some kindling/logs on the first night from the co-op, you won't regret it! Perfect location amongst all the pubs, 2 mins walk from a nice spa, lots of very good walking areas nearby, Helvellyn, Wansfell Pike, Great Rigg/Heron Pike, and Old Man Coniston among them. The short walk to Far Sawry is well worth it, 50p each way across the car ferry on foot, and the pub is really very nice, with good beer. If we lived closer we would return! Had a really nice week.

1 Fellside Cottage

Myself and my wife spent two wonderful weeks at this quint secluded cottage. This cottage is well equipped with everything you need with modern amenities. It is well situated for pubs, shopping and lake is just 2 minutes walk away. We would definitely stay here again. Tracy is a great host always available if needed.

Perfect location

Lovely cottage, excellently equipped. Obviously owners have spent time making the cottage comfortable and stylish So well placed to visit the Lake District, and within easy walking distance of restaurants and bars and shops. Sweet little courtyard garden which is a sun trap. Will definitely be returning.

Cosy Lakeland Retreat

Great communication with property owner all the way through. Beautiful cosy cottage, warm, comfortable and very homely with everything you need for a lakes stay. Close to all Bowness has to offer with scenic walks on the doorstep. We loved that the cottage was secluded within trees off a main road which made it very quiet and private. A perfect Autum stay, we’d definitely recommend this little retreat. ❤️

Perfect location

A wonderful cottage, great location in the centre of town everything you need is in walking distance. Lots of good walking areas nearby. We would definetly return and recommend to others.

Cute and Convemient

A beautiful cute and well appointed cottage in the most convenient of places. Everything we needed within walking distance: the town with it's shops, bars and restaurants, the cinema, lake, boat trips and wonderful walks to enjoy the stunning scenery. The cottage was a joy to stay in. Even though it's only a matter of yards away from the main road, it was so secluded and quiet and very private. The little terrace at the back was a sun trap. We enjoyed using the log burner and enjoying a glass of wine toasting our toes after a busy day walking and enjoying the local scenery. The bed room was so serene and relaxing, the décor was very stylish. Shower over a generous sized bath, ideal after a long day sightseeing. We made use of the washing machine and dish washer, even though it was just the two of us for a week. We would certainly recommend this cottage to others, and would love to return again as it met all our expectations. Just perfect. Why choose anywhere else?

Hidden gem

Lovely cottage. Every thing catered for right down to potatoe pealer. Perfect location right in centre of town but hidden from main road.

Lovely little cottage

We really enjoyed our in this cottage. It's just like the pictures, cute and comfortable. Everything we needed was there including welcome pack of tea, coffee and biscuits. We hope to book again in the future.
