Please read the numerous “10 out of 10 Reviews”! The property address is posted on the exterior of the home per County requirements. Driving directions are provided for guests prior to their check-in date. For some reason, this guest chose not to follow them. House is as shown in the pictures.

We were unaware of the other booking reservation made through Vacasa. They were not authorized to rent our home to their guests due to numerous ongoing problems we were having with Vacasa. Given the circumstances, we immediately made every effort we could in calling other local hotels and vacation rental places to assist you in finding other accommodations. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will take us up on our offer of a 50% discount on a future stay.

Hi Jonathan, We were happy to offer you an earlier check-in time at no charge. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We were glad to hear you enjoyed the amazing lake view and the layout of the home. With each floor having a bedroom and bathroom, this gives guests their privacy while the 2-large living rooms allow for guests to enjoy each other's company when socializing. I was surprised at some of your comments. I notified you several days prior to your arrival and let you know that we do not provide snow removal services. I also let you know that snow was expected during your stay. As a courtesy, I personally shoveled snow for 30-minutes creating a pathway up the deck steps to the front door for you to easily access the home. Prior to your arrival, I also created a path in the snow for you to drive your vehicle in and out of the driveway. We also provided shovels and a bag of salt which helps melt snow. I also recommended you create a driving path in the snow up and down the driveway each day you were there should it snow during your stay. After you checked in, I was still on-site for 30-minutes. You did not mention any issues with the cleanliness of the home. I would be surprised if you had as I personally cleaned the house prior to your arrival. There were no water bottles anywhere and all 3-beds were made with freshly-laundered sheets. I also made sure there were no other items in the washing machine. I folded and put away all linens that were in the dryer. Our Check-In Instructions ask that our guests notify us immediately if any issues are found with the condition of the home at the time of arrival so that we may address them right away. You never mentioned any issues during your stay or even after you checked out. Thank you, again, for choosing Inspiration Point for your stay in Lake Arrowhead, CA.

We gave this guest a poor review because they left our home a mess and refused to accept responsibility for the condition the home was left in despite the photos shared with her that housekeeping took immediately after the guest checked out. I am not surprised by the review she left. We have informed VRBO we would not rent to this guest again.
