We had a great weekend away! The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware and there was enty of room for everyone! The place is very close to everything we wanted to do within a close drive. We were a little intimidated by the steepness of the driveway, however it was very easy to get in and out of. Thank you!

Our stay was awesome! The cabin is well stocked with everything you need, and the check-in and check-out instructions are very clear and simple!

Nice older house and located in a beautiful neighborhood. it was renovated into a three story home. Older guests/people may have a hard time going down to the lower level through the spiral stairs. The house interior was clean when we arrived but the outside was not. We had to sweep the terrace and the front yard and dust the outdoor furniture. Maybe the cleaning crew forgot to clean the exterior. The mattresses were too soft. Not good for older people. Not enough toilet paper for two days for 6 people. Not enough paper towels either. The price was adequate for what it offered.

Our home is located on a peaceful, forested lot, and being surrounded by nature is part of the experience. Depending on the weather, leaves, pollen, and other natural debris can collect on the deck and outdoor furniture between cleanings. We always prepare the outdoor spaces before each arrival, but it's not always possible to keep them completely free of natural debris. We also appreciate your comments about the mattresses and starter supplies. Mattress comfort, as well as paper product usage, is subjective, and we'll keep your feedback in mind for future guests. Thank you again for your feedback and for staying with us.

Perfect place!

Great location (walking distance from the Lake), very clean, great interior design, very fast response by the host when needed. Everything works perfectly and has a lot of ammenities in a great condition.Highly recommended.

Family weekend getaway

My family and I wanted to celebrate our 10 year anniversary together. We thought a weekend in Lake Arrowhead would be a much needed departure from the hustle and bustle of daily city life. From our home it was only about a 1.5 hour drive. While planning we debated between staying at a hotel resort versus a quiet and quaint cabin. Collectively, we all thought the peaceful serenity of a cabin near the lake sounded fun. We made a great choice. First off, our host Jacqueline was warm, friendly, and accommodating. She answered questions and gave us a great idea what to expect in Lake Arrowhead. Useful cabin information and directions were clearly presented in the cabin.The cabin is rustic and authentic with pictures of bears and local wildlife on the walls. It features comfortable amenities like use of a full kitchen, washer & dryer, outdoor deck and BBQ grill. A basketball hoop and ping pong table were there to use also. The cabin feels cozy and spacious with comfortable bedding and a good combination of natural light and skylights. The location is very central to several key tourist sites. 20 minutes to Lake Gregory, 7 minutes to Sky Park at Santa's Village and 10 minutes to the Lake Arrowhead Village. The days were warm but tolerable and the evenings slightly cooler but not uncomfortable. Our days were spent at Lake Gregory and Sky Park which featured many family friendly activities. One evening we stayed in to cook Korean BBQ and complete a family puzzle while the other night we opted to go into town for dinner at Stone Creek Bistro. All in all, we had a very enjoyable time together. The area and venue contributed nicely for our family bonding weekend. We would stay here again.

Great cabin!!

Cute place, well stocked and clean! They even had Sparking wine to great us! A lil snack rack and Kurig with pods! Plenty of games and toys and books for kids! Nice bedding is always a big plus!! 3 baths is great and 3 parking spots :) We’ve been to many cabins through out the years and usually not enough parking! Only thing that could have made it perfect is air conditioning and window coverings up stair so we could keep the light out so we could sleep in.

The house was perfect in size, accommodations, and location. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you would need. It was very thoughtful to have a basket of snacks for us as well.There is a lovely deck out back to eat on or just relax.The only reason I gave 4 stars is there was a plumbing issue that put a small dent in our day but our Host was on it and got a plumber out in a couple of hours.Overall, we were super happy with our stay.
