Perfect location

We loved our stay; the condo has a great view of the beach & is within 3 miles of everything we wanted to do. It is by far the nicest dog-friendly place I've ever stayed.

Salt Life

The place is very nice, easy access to the beach, and a gated complex. Nice walking path along the scenic drive road. I had my dog with me and he enjoyed the view and the other dogs around the area. I would visit again!

Our Happy Place

This experience was all we could have dreamed of. My wife and I are both educators so this week provided a perfect respite for our family after a crazy year. The location was wonderful and provided convenience that cannot be overstated. From the pool to the beach service...everything was just right. We will definitely be back to this property!!!

Great experience at Beach Retreat!! Will definitely book here again. Location was perfect…. Steps to the sand. Room was clean, updated, and comfortable! Beach Retreat

We had an amazing time at our condo. It was easy to find, in walking distance to food, coffee, groceries and right across from the ocean! The condo was very clean, all the appliances worked well and it was quiet; occasionally I could hear the people above us. The street in between the condo and the beach was fairly busy, but traffic was slow and stopped to let us cross. The sand on the beach was so soft and the chairs were set up each morning. We didn’t find many shells or any crabs at night, which was fine. We brought our dog and saw many others with their dogs too. It’s a very friendly place. We can’t wait to go back!!

Overall poor condo

Ice maker on fridge, garbage disposal, stove, tv were broken and there was a piece of metal sticking up in the walkway of the sliding glass door that caused everyone to trip going through the door! My mom severely hurt her foot! Not worth the money! Do not stay at Beach retreat 107!

Hi Cheryl: Generally everyone loves this condo so much your negative review comes as a shock. The threshold on the sliding glass door is required to meet Florida Coastal Building Code and is present on all condos at Beach Retreat and all up to date condos on the Florida Coast. So sorry that your mom hurt her foot. I was willing to send someone to check on the stove top but you asked me not to send anyone during your stay. You did not tell me that there was a problem with the ice maker leaking or the disposal. I would have sent someone. All of these issues were simple fixes that we repaired today in a matter of minutes. I am very disappointed that you are unhappy and I hope that you find happiness. Beach Retreat unit 107

Very easy to book this ground floor unit. The unit was nice enough but the cleaning company needs to do a better job cleaning. The bunk beds were dusty and the furniture in the small bedroom was dusty. Everywhere things like light switches and cabinet fronts need to be wiped down from grime and fingerprints. There were plenty of towels available. Had trouble with the stove top not heating reliably and the owner should consider buying new pans. Also the filter in the fridge needed to be replaced; the red light was on. Lastly, the washing machine leaked water into the hallway.

Beach Retreat is hard to beat!

Another great week in a Beach Retreat property. We love these condos because they are so clean, well supplied, homey, convenient, and perfect beachfront view! Our little dog loves the property as well. The condos are so soundproof as well - no next door neighbor sounds or walking feet overhead.

Great location/pet friendly!

The condo was very clean. The master bedroom mattress had an issue, top portion sloped down. I felt I was sleeping down hill. Unfortunate I didn’t get much sleep all week.I can not recommend an adult sleeping on bottom bunk it’s ver difficult to get in or out. (The ladder is in stationary position in the middle of bunk.) We had a great time even with the couple of hiccups:) 🏖🐩

Pet Friendly

Everything was great! Very clean, nicely decorated, great view. Ground floor was perfect for taking our dog out. We didn’t hear any traffic noise inside the condo. It was a relaxing week for my husband and I with our fur baby.

Spring break 2022

Quiet neighborhood, BR 2 was very small and claustrophobic. Clean and well kept. Need to mention have to walk across street for beach access.

We were able to bring our dogs and was on the bottom floor, great location near 3 restaurants to walk to, nice walking path, very close to beach and condo was very clean and updated. Had a wonderful time. Thank you for letting us use it!

Good & Bad

The good: This is a great property & location with a beautiful view & lots of close dining options. The layout is great for a couple or small family as it has a bedroom with king bed & a cute little bunkbed cubby room that would be perfect for kids plus 2 baths. The furnishings were nice & comfortable. The first floor view is nice, you can see the ocean but not the beach which was fine for us because we loved the first floor convenience for taking our dog out. There are wonderful walking paths & the area seems to be extremely pet friendly which is a huge plus! The bad: We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of this property. It was clear that the bed linens had been changed, there where clean towels & things were in there proper place but outside of that, it appeared nothing had actually been cleaned. Had it been an oversight in an area or two, it wouldn’t have been a big deal but this was unacceptable, even more so with the added cleaning standards so many are maintaining these days. In addition to not being clean for our visit it really needs an overall deep clean. Assuming the property management group addresses the cleaning concerns, I would stay here again & would recommend this property to others.

Great location and amenities, but needs some cleaning

This condo is in a great location right across the street from the beach with convenient beach access. It includes a beach service of umbrella and chairs which is really nice. The condo has everything that you will need from kitchen appliances to towels and blankets. The only thing that can use improvement is the cleanliness. As soon as we arrived we cleaned all the surfaces with disinfecting wipes and were shocked to see how dirty they were. After wiping down a two counters we realized the entire condo needed cleaning so we spent 2 hours cleaning bathrooms, refrigerator, kitchen and living room (which was FULL of pet hair). I understand this is a pet friendly condo, but a little vacuuming of the sofa will do great things to pet hair. We had a baby with us and wanted to make sure things were cleaned. We went prepared to do some light disinfecting of highly touched surfaces, but didn't think we would need to spend so much time cleaning. Other then the cleanliness, this was a great stay.

Upon hearing of our success with these properties, our friends began asking us to manage their rentals as well.
