Udstyret med: fuldt funktionelt køkken med alle apparater; tre tv på kabel; Dvd og dvr; vaskemaskine / tørretumbler; to verandaer; bål; Weber propan BBQ; loft fans; observation dæk; to-bil garage; bordtennisbord to mountainbikes. Best vacation!

The location was a great central location for us to do all the things we wanted to do. The accommodations were very comfortable, felt like home. It was nice to have the owners as neighbors incase we needed anything. We’re hoping to get back there the next time we come to AZ.

Desert Retreat

Great property far enough away from the crowds but close enough to access all the attractions that the Valley has to offer. Very clean and well appointed. Hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the fire pit and rooftop observation area. Hope to return in the future. Bob and Suzanne

Oasis in the desert

Property owners super friendly. The attention to detail was amazing and the location was quiet and restful. Property it self was beautiful and very high end just as pictured. Good base for exploring Scottsdale. Definitely will consider again if heading into Scottsdale

Best of the best!

We could not have been happier with our stay! The casita was just as the photos depict, beautiful, clean, comfortable, and inviting. The amenities were second to none; great outdoor spaces, a beautiful kitchen for cooking meals, plenty of pantry staples, and a goodie basket that keeps calling you back for more. We had our two dogs with us, and the fenced-in backyard was the perfect spot for them. The surrounding area offers easy dog walks right from your door. They provide a map that lets you choose any duration you want, from a quick block walk up to a 3-mile loop without ever being on a busy road. This property felt like home.

Fantastic VRBO

This VRBO was fantastic for our vacation! Great living space inside and outside. Kitchen fully equipped for in house meal prep with full spice rack and other necessities. Extra amenities such as ping pong table, bags game, mountain bikes were all in great shape to be used. Easy bike ride to extensive mountain bike trails directly from casita. Great fenced yard for dog to enjoy as well. Nightly sunsets on the roof top to end the day. Highly recommend this casita and hope to return soon!

Felt remote...close to everything

Lovely, lovely accommodations, wow! We were totally impressed with the attention to every last detail. We also enjoyed the location very much - so close to everything Scottsdale has to offer. Hosts were the best :). Thanks for a great stay!!!

Easily exceeded our expectations.

Outstanding stay. The many positive reviews are all true. The casita easily exceeded our expectations. So much better than any hotel. Room to stretch out and relax in quality surroundings. All the amenities are first rate, plus superhosts Bill and Joanne are nearby and available should you need anything during your stay. We unfortunately had one of our family need hospitalization while on our visit and Bill and Joanne could not have been more helpful. They did their very best to accommodate all our needs and we are most grateful.

Great place, feels like you're way out but close to everything

We stayed ten nights, family of three and everything was wonderful. Small, private yard and clean garage. House/casita had everything we needed with very nice touches like snacks and drinks when we arrived. Would stay again!

Great stay, very helpful manager.

Place was quiet, clean and as advertised. I especially appreciated the responsiveness of the owner/manager. Most places seem to take a day to check their messages, but Darcy was on top of every communication. Thanks!

Loved every minute!

We absolutely loved staying here. Great location, amazing views, awesome kitchen and truly just perfect. The owners are as nice as can be. Wish we could have stayed longer. A big thank you to Bill and Joanne.

Quiet escape

We truly enjoyed our stay. We wanted quiet, remote, but not roughing it. This was the perfect escape and better than returning to a hotel from our activities. My College son and I were looking for exactly this type of "de-stresser". This very little house has spacious high ceilings inside, with granite countertops, tuscan tiles and solid furniture. The rooftop has chairs to enjoy the sunsets... we even sighted 3 coyotes! Big garage with ping pong table. Living room/big kitchen/dining room all in 1 main large room. Small laundry hallway. 2 big queen bedrooms each with full bathrooms (1 with walk-in tiled curved shower) and full closets. Very nice owners. Special touches like snacks and beverages awaited us. It was cold and rainy, so we appreciated that space. The small landscape area is very nicely done with a big outdoor table. Improvements could include adding an outdoor hot tub. (there is no pool). We enjoyed bringing in takeout food to relax, watch tv (nice -3 big screens) and not feeling cramped. Thank you for this lovely place!

Delightful and welcoming casita... a rare find

The guest house was exactly what we had hoped for ... a secluded location that gave us privacy but was not far away from shops and services; welcoming hosts who had thought of our every comfort and need; a well appointed, perfectly-sized house for a couple who wanted a cozy environment for a prolonged stay in December but was large enough to entertain family who lived in the area. The outdoor areas were a natural extension of the house, doubling the entertainment area and providing opportunities to enjoy meals with friends, a space to read or work, or have lively chats around the fire pit. We especially enjoyed the beauty of the desert garden - a delightful feature of the property. The casita had all the amenities you would expect in a well looked after and cared for property designed for the owners' extended family and the owners are thoughtful in their provisions, warm and welcoming and very responsive. It was a great place to spend a holiday and the sense of feeling comfortably at home added immensely to our pleasure. Definitely a return visit. K.Boyd, December 2018

Exceptional Property

My husband and I spent a couple of weeks at the casita for a fall getaway. The property is wonderful and Bill and Joann have gone above and beyond to ensure an extremely comfortable stay. The home had all the amenities that were needed for our stay, plus many extras. The location is perfect between North Scottsdale and Carefree/Cave Creek, so there are many options for dining, golf, shopping and hiking. The home itself feels private with multiple secluded outdoor areas to enjoy the beautiful Scottsdale weather. A big plus for us was that the casita was pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog for his first visit to the desert. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit.

Fantastic casita

Once again, the Walton's have enabled us with a wonderful experience. The casita remains an absolute delight, and the extra amenities (snacks, water and drinks in the fridge, etc) make it a very special place to rent. It is perfectly located to be quiet and secluded at night, but right in the heart of shopping, dining and golf. It is a perfect place, which we certainly intend to visit again and again.

A Secluded Oasis in the Sonoran Desert. A Comfortable Southwestern Style Casita.

A perfect location to enjoy the Sonoran Desert while being close to all the amenities of Scottsdale and the attractions of Cave Creek and Carefree. We were able to spend five wonderful weeks at this Casita with it's own secluded, fenced cactus garden (including a mature Saguaro) which we enjoyed from the covered, wrap-around patio. The fire pit was ideal for the cooler evenings and we saw spectacular sunsets from the observation deck and also watched the patrolling coyotes. Our hosts, Bill and Joanne, gave us a warm welcome and ensured that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They paid close attention to every detail and provided a wonderful selection of drinks, and wine, plus a large, loaded welcome basket. Lynn had to work while we were there and Bill helped set up the high speed internet, which was fast and reliable. The hosts lived next door which means that they are available if anything needs attention. The accommodation was very comfortable and everything worked well. The place was spotless on our arrival. There were plentiful supplies of consumable items, towels, linen and bedding. The kitchen was well equipped and we did a lot of cooking, as well as enjoying the many local restaurants. We bought a slow cooker with us, but there was one there already! We had Amber, our Golden Retriever, with us and she was welcomed and she loved the fenced garden as well as all the local walks in the neighbourhood and meeting the local horses and dogs. There are many good trails in the mountains just a short car ride away and we tried to take Amber on one every day. There were a couple of well maintained bikes and I enjoyed riding up Pima Road to Carefree. There was a DVD player and we were able to see a number of classic movies from Bill's collection. Overall it was a most enjoyable and comfortable stay at the Casita and we would stay there again if we can muster the spirit for the five day drive from Ottawa, Canada. This home is very Welcoming and Comfortable!

Throughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The reviews are all spot on! The owners have a beautifully decorated home, offering travelers a quiet, upscale, secluded sanctuary, yet is very close to all the areas attractions. Fully stocked with everything you would expect and more. The gracious Welcome Basket set the tone for our stay. The owners most definitely have the hospitality thing down....could never say enough good about our stay. A highlight of our trip for sure! Thanks and we hope to be back!

Also can accommodate up to six by using sofa and inflatable bed. Dog friendly. Great for walking and biking on semi-paved and dirt roads. Adjacent to hiking, biking and horse paths. Two beds sleeps up to four. Sleeping pads/mats can be provided for younger guests.
