Landligt konverteret bondegård (QUINTINHA) tæt på den uspolerede landsby ESTOI og de romerske ruiner af milrue

Ejendommen ligger tæt på alle større golfbaner, vandland og resorts såsom Villamoura, Quartaira, Almancil og den smukke by Faro.

Selvom det er vigtigt at leje bil tæt på alle disse attraktioner.

Casa QUINTINHA ligger også kun 40 minutter fra den spanske grænse, som for de mere eventyrlystne åbner en helt ny oplevelse med Sevilla kun en og en halv time væk.

Der er flere lokale barer og restauranter i ESTOI, plus vi har den konverterede SOMMERPALACE af ESTOI, som engang var et tilflugtssted for de gamle konger og dronninger i Portugal, men nu er et luksushotel.

Der er to lokale barer og restauranter inden for en hurtig gåtur fra villaen og en gåtur ind i ESTOI (40 minutter) (5 minutter i bil) forbi de lokale gårde og frugttræer er en dejlig oplevelse. Sikkerhed er ikke et problem, da omfattende udvendig belysning og CCTV er alt på stedet plus ejeren bor i nærheden og kan hjælpe med eventuelle problemer, der kan opstå ..

Vi har også en omfattende dvd-samling og adgang til wifi.

Great holiday experience

Had a fantastic 10 days at this wonderful place. Chilled as you want with a very helpful and friendly guy, Steve thanks for everything from the guide to shopping, eating, interesting places and for the craic. We would love to stay again.

Peace & quiet in Algarve

Stephen is a very nice guy hospitable and attentive. The communication is easy and effective. The house is cozyand clean and has wounflderfull swimmingpool. The outside is perfect for spending good times in the nature. We hope to come back soon. Thank you very mutch Stephen.

About our stay:

Casa Quintinha was just what we both wanted, off the beaten track, secluded, with nice views, lovely countryside with great walks, weather permitting: somewhere to rest, and catch up with our reading. 15 minutes walk from the local mini supermarket providing our daily needs, and a charming busy local cafe serving great inexpensive lunches (barbecues on Fridays), and friendly hardworking staff. Estoi was within 45 minutes walk mainly using local tracks with a larger supermarket and some good restaurants for evening meals. Larger supermarkets were available within a 20 minute drive. Casa Quintinha was converted by the current owner from an old rambling stone farmhouse, modernised and well appointed whilst retaining the original character. The owner was friendly and helpful, and available to keep the place well maintained. The pool was regularly cleaned. We enjoyed our time on the patio or by the pool, with our meals outside, and a few nice barbecues, with TV (several film channels) and DVD available. Overall, a very lovely couple of weeks.

Nice Appartement and lovely owner

We stayed 4 days in the farm house and it was great. You hear some little sounds from the nature in the house but this is the Charme of it! The owner Steve is lovely and lives next door, he helps you if you need him. On the rest of the day you do not notice him. All in all it was a nice place and we hope we can come back someday.:-)

Uma casa rústica, muito acolhedora

A casa embora rústica, é muito acolhedora, equipada com tudo o que é necessário para passar uns dias de férias e com um espaço exterior espectacular. Adorámos o terraço, a piscina e os campos em volta, onde se podem fazer algumas caminhadas. O Steve também é espectacular, sempre muito preocupado com o nosso bem-estar, sempre disponível quando necessário, mas respeitando muito a nossa privacidade. É, sem dúvida, um sítio onde gostaríamos de voltar.

Excellent property and excellent host !!!

First thing, about the owner of the house : Stephen. I traveled a lot and rarely saw a host that nice. He does the maximum for you so you can spend a perfect holiday in his house. He's very reliable and will help you as far as he can. He would never disturb you but, will be always ready to help in case of need. Secondly, the house : the terrace is very big so you can spend all day outside, even with children it's OK. No road close so the place is very quiet, on the hills of the countryside. The swimming pool is very clean, Stephen makes sure that it stays clean at any time. Many sunbeds around which is great. Inside the house, it's fresh when it's warm outside. Typical former farm with everything you will need. We didn't spend much time inside the house because we enjoyed the terrace . We had a great moment at Stephen house, only positive things to say about him, if i come back to the South of Portugal I will definitely get back to him :-) Thanks again for your kindness and you work !

Hidden Gem

Great place lovely hide away. Completely tucked away but only a short distance from shops or restaurants. Estói is lovely traditional town. Steve is a lovely bloke and made sure everything was catered for. The converted farm house is Very special design all the modern amenities but with classy Original features. Great base for family’s young or old and if you don’t drive Steve will take great care of you. Anthing, Any Time, Any Where!

férias no campo excepcionais!

A casa é muito simpática, o local é muito agradável e campestre, a piscina é óptima e está muito bem localizada. A casa fica muito perto de Estói e de Olhão. Foram umas férias muito regeneradoras e muito agradáveis. Principalmente porque o Stephens está sempre disponível e é super atencioso com todos os pormenores.

Um sítio muito rústico e isolado

Gostámos muito da estadia. 4 adultos, duas crianças, uma excelente piscina, local isolado e uma vista deslumbrante tem tudo pra dar certo. A casa está equipada com o essencial e o dono, o Steve, dá-nos a privacidade pretendida mas sempre disponível para o que for preciso. Obrigada pela simpatia e pelos gelados, Steve. Os miúdos amaram. Apesar de não termos precisado, a casa não tem wi-fi incluído. É pago à parte. O caminho até à quinta é de estrada de terra e pedras mas faz-se bem. Esperamos voltar um dia

Great villa, great host

We really enjoyed our stay at Steve's property. The outside areas were lovely and spacious and we enjoyed eating outside every morning and evening. The pool was a great size and the pool area was perfect for sunbathing. All the rooms were spacious and the air-conditioning worked perfectly. A car is 100% required, which we had so not an issue. The property is close to the airport and lots of little towns which were good for a half day trip. We were within 15 minutes of a large supermarket and a 2 minute drive to the local shop which had a good selection of essentials and was very reasonable. Looking forward to coming back.

Parfait

Magnifique maison pleine de charme. Le propriétaire a été attentionné du premier au dernier jour. La maison est situe sur les hauteurs c’est a la fois calme et non loin des activités principales. Nous avons passe un sejour tres agréable.

A lovely relaxing home from home

Myself and my 3 children (14, 10 and 5) have just returned from a lovely stay in this beautiful converted farmhouse. Set out in the countryside it was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. A car is essential and you are only a short drive from anything you could need. We did waterparks; a boat ride and beaches and relaxed in the perfectly sized pool. Finally Steve was alway on hand to answer any queries, help with ideas and an all-round great guy. I'm sure we will see you again! Thank you!

Holiday

The property lived up to the pictures. A car is essential and the road up to the property is very rough. The owner was available if you needed him for anything but respected your privacy.Perfect if you just want to relax in peace and quiet but Albufeira and Vilamoura the more tourist places just half an hour away, so best of both worlds.

Super Urlaub an der Algarve

Das umgebaute Bauernhaus lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig, trotz rund 30° hielten die dicken Wände die Wärme ab, wir brauchten die Klimaanlage nur selten. Der Pool ist klasse und erfrischend. Besonders der Vermieter, Stephen, hat uns mit seiner herzlichen und freundlichen, aber niemals aufdringlichen Art sehr geholfen. Stephen lebt direkt nebenan, aber tritt nicht wirklich in Erscheinung, bis man seine Hilfe braucht. Wir können dieses Haus und seinen Vermieter nur empfehlen und kommen bestimmt wieder.

The farmhouse.

The farmhouse was what we wanted and as described on its own and quiet . The owner lives close bye and was very helpful when required .it is well placed for visiting the towns and villages in this area . a car is a must to get the best out of where you are and have to get used to the conditions of the country roads .there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the near bye villages .we enjoyed our holiday and would recommend it to anyone John and Lorna jackson .

Great, location, value and 1st rate hospitality

Excellent location to explore the whole Algarve, minutes to the main motorway connecting the region. Stephen was available to recommend and assist us with whatever we needed. The villa was very private, great pool and terrace, bedrooms worked well and kitchen well equiped. It all worked perfect for us. Thanks Stephen

A Wonderful Stay

Just returned from a week's stay at this lovely converted farmhouse. The 'Quintinha' has been tastefully converted to a very high standard. Only about 20 minutes from Faro, it is a good base for exploring many towns in the Eastern Algarve. A car is a must but there are many cafes and restaurants within easy reach. Steve the owner was always on hand if we needed him and was extremely welcoming. We would thoroughly recommend this lovely property. Sue and Graham

The Perfect Villa and host for an amazing holiday!!

My family and I spent two glorious weeks at Quintinha Villa in early August. The Villa is just perfect and beautifully restored. We wanted a relaxing holiday and this certainly did surpass our expectations. Steve (owner) is the nicest guy you could ever meet and nothing was too much trouble. The villa is completely self contained with 3 spacious bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, offering all the comforts of home. The air-conditioning was a godsend, as was the lovely pool that our 7 yr old son enjoyed daily. The Villa is perfectly located, giving quick access to the picturesque town of Estoi (a visit to the Casa De Estoi Hotel is a must). A car is essential for exploring the area but the local shop & cafe (15 min walk) was well stocked and convenient. An easy 20 min drive to Olhao, where you will find a few large supermarkets (Lidl and Continente). We were so at home there, very sorry to leave and would highly recommend. Thanks Steve for everything, we would all love to return.

Peaceful, rural and just what we wanted.

Fantastic stay in Casa Quintinha. Steve was a lovely friendly owner who was on hand if we needed anything. We are looking to buy in the area and this property would suit us down to the ground. Handy with a car for exploring the Eastern Algarve and finding lots of unspoilt areas or equally chill in the pool or at the terrace. Would highly recommend.

Excellent villa

Had a wonderful welcome from Steve, the owner. He was such a lovely man!! All room were a generous size and the pool was amazing!!! I would recommend a car but if you wanted a quiet stay, there is a cafe and shop, only a 15 minute walk. We will decently be staying again

We all had a fantastic holiday and Stevie was amazing and couldn't of done enough for us as a family. The farmhouse is a great base to explore but a car is a must! Everything you need is in the farmhouse iron, kettle etc etc etc. We used the outdoor space most of the time as the bbq area and pool were lovely. I have already told family and friends about the farmhouse and we will most definitely be returning in the future.

An amazing place and owner - you wont be disappointed

The family, 2 adults and two older kids had a really super holiday here. Firstly the Villa it is even better than the photographs show, spacious and clean as well as an excellent maintained pool. WI-FI and excellent TV and DVD choice as well for when it gets too hot. Ask Steve to show you the pictures prior to the Villa being converted from an old farmhouse. - amazing. Location great with main roads to everywhere only 10 minutes away and all in very relaxing surroundings. Our host Steve was a fantastic and super helpful from the moment we arrived into Portugal he was there to assist us with getting there.To water and beer on our arrival to a sliced loaf of soft bread for my daughter :) . A door knock away, Steve really did make the visit to Estoi that so much better, a genuinely nice bloke and there to make your stay that extra special. Thank you Steve

Great Time in a Character Property

The six of us ,four adults and two children had a really enjoyable holiday here. The owner made us feel very welcome and was really helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained and the pool was kept in good condition.TV and DVD was available when you wished to drag yourself indoors. While the property is not far from shops and attractions a vehicle is really essential to make the most of its situation. After the welcome we had we hope to return.
