Great Property Managers!

We loved this unit! The balcony is spacious and overlooks the amazing pools. The unit was clean and well equiped. The resort is a great place to stay. The ammenities are well above average. We would stay here again!!

Great place.

Place was clean and maintained. Pools on site are fantastic. Close to the beach and lots of great places to eat. The furniture is old but functional. Beds we’re comfortable with a good amount of pillows. Will stay there again no question. Give the place a solid 8.5/10.

Family Vacation 2018

Overall, the stay was amazing. The property is very nice but HUGE. The tv channels in our room didn't work but we made the best of it and just relaxed. The only thing that I would change is the pool cleanings at 8AM, the blower woke us up every morning.

Perfect stay and spot with a Great view of Pool

We loved our stay and it was spacious enough for 5 of us all to enjoy. Perfect location for all the fun activities you can do in Destin area. Only thing I can say that needs to be checked was the guest bathroom shower and sink need Drano. Water is slow to drain down while shower is running. Also if you like extra pillows to sleep bring some . We forgot ours. We loved our visit and would definitely stay every summer !! Thank you 💗

Fun in Destin

This condo was very clean and easy to spend 5 days in. The only thing is, checking in could have been a little clearer. I did receive text updates, but there was no one present at the front desk of The Palms of Destin to help answer any questions in person. BUT, it wasn't that big of a deal. We're pretty self sufficient, so we found our way around easily. Would definitely stay again.

This condo needs a lot of repairs. It has a lot of things broken and the carpet is really dirty. Bathroom shower door is broke and it needs repairs and updates.

Overall is fantastic place to stay..beautiful outdoor areas friendly people felt safe in all areas..great to have garage area for parking.our only complaint is the dirty carpet in our condo and the couches need replaced..first thing we noticed walking into condo is the dirty carpet so pretty sure the cleaning crew can see it..that needs talen care of..everything thing else was clean and well stocked

We had an overall good experience. Property grounds were nice and pool was great for kids. Little confusion where to go and park when we got there because it was late check in. Did not have dolly to bring by bags to condo which was kind of a haul with kids and bags but thankfully we were only staying two days. Condo was nice and had all amenities we needed. Very slight wear. ie stains on carpet but overall clean and comfortable and great for what we needed which was quick stay with kids. One note: you will have to drive to the beach which we knew so no big deal

Beautiful resort with amazing pools

We absolutely loved staying here. The condo was gorgeous and clean! It is further away from the beach than I prefer but the room was nicer than some condos I have stayed in that were located on the beach. I read some reviews stating it was a short walk but I disagree! Plus the construction going on makes it an even more impossible walk. However, my boys enjoyed the pools more than the beach anyways! There is a shuttle bus to the beach but we chose to drive due to the amount of people waiting to catch the bus as well. My husband was very displeased with the staff working the restaurant located on site but again, nothing to cause us to not stay here!

Our unit was beautiful! Great view of the pool area. The furniture in the living room needs replacing. The couch and recliner both have springs pushing up. The water goes down very slowly in the bathtub. By the time you've finished with your shower, you have a couple of inches of water you're standing in. We also ordered food from the Bistro and got a dry salad without dressing. I called down to ask for dressing to be brought up, but no one ever showed up.These things certainly didn't effect our wonderful week! Unit needs updating

The unit needs updating. The sofa and the love seat in the living room both sagged and squeaked when you sat down on them. The love seat was ripped at the bottom. The unit did not give us a great feeling of relaxation while vacationing. The unit was in a nice location in the building. We would not return to this particular unit unless the living room chairs were replaced. The property location was excellent. The property managers were friendly, knowledgeable, and easily accessible.

April Stay

We loved the location, views, balcony and the bar downstairs. The property manager was quick to respond to questions and things that we needed taken care of. The unit itself needed work tho. Kitchen was great, but the unit needed a good cleaning, new couches and some other things. Couches were ripped, loud when you sat down and not comfy. One bedroom and bathroom had white spots on carpet and bathroom rug. Chair was broken at the table and door stopper was broke as well. There were also papers and a sock left in the other bedroom from the previous quests. We will be back to the Palms, but will not stay in this unit.

Very nice condo.

Overall stay was wonderful. Had one issue though. I reserved the condo through Real Joy vacations and was told that I would receive the codes to get in through an email on the day of arrival. There still was no email when we arrived. When I checked in the Palms gave us room keys and I thought ok no problem, but when we got to the room, the door lock was punch key activated, the usual room keys (like in a hotel)will not work. So I had to walk all the way back down to the front desk and talk to someone. Luckily the manager knew someone who worked for Real Joy and was able to get a hold of them to get the code. Other than that the condo was great. I do recommend that if you reserve this room, that you make sure you have the room key code before you arrive as a regular card key will not work. I would stay again.

Not bad, would use real joy again, probably not this particular resort

We enjoyed the location and the condo was nice. Our complaints are: hideaway bed was broken which made sitting on the couch impossible, leaving nowhere to sit but kitchen chairs. Toilet in master bathroom kept trying to over flow. We had to manually drain by use of cups to keep water off the floor. It was fixed 2 days after it was reported. Having 1 bathroom for 5 adults was not pleasant, quite annoying actually. No accommodation was offered for the issue. I would have expected perhaps a 5% credit or something for the inconvenience. Overall we would probably use real joy again. The property however needs to maintain better control of the facilities. Adults and children were climbing the walkway trails and landscaping islands jumping into the pool. We could not enjoy it due to the lack of control of guests. Someone should have stopped this behavior.

Girls Getaway

The property is big and located near conveniences. The only problem was the unforseen leak from one of the restrooms. We were told the problem had been reported before, but because we used the shower more than the previous persons, the pan overflowed and wet the carpet. Having been told this information up front would have helped us decide if we wanted to stay at the unit. We paid decent money for a unit that had previous problems and the issue was still unresolved. All unit information needed to be divulged. Management was responsive and sent building managers to vacuum and dry the carpet. Allison, Karen, Sima, Reggie, and Sam was extremely helpful and accommodating. Even though communication failed with explorie for sunset cruise to see dolphins, we were given $100 dinner voucher to Lulu's. We appreciate the consideration, but it put a slight DAMPER on the accommodations, not to mention the wet smell in the unit. Booking, availability to Hotline, and checkin and checkout instructions were great. No problem with the process. Recommendation: address all repairs, replace carpet, and make sure the unit is fresh upon arrival. We managed everything else. Unit was adequately equipped with towels, dishes, pots and pans , trash bags, the soap, and basic setup. We survived the unexpected cold temperature (which you had no control), and made the best of our vacation. Destin beaches are a must visit. Thanks for the experience.
