Denne rummelige, lyse Old School Konvertering er blevet konverteret til en høj standard men bevarer sine oprindelige funktioner. Den sikre lejlighed beliggende på anden sal (med elevator) føles meget privat og fredelig om aftenen. Det store soveværelse har en stor seng med en-suite badeværelse, som omfatter badekar (med hovedbruser), håndvask og toilet. Inden det store soveværelse er der en mezzanin niveau, hvor du vil finde sovesofa og en enkelt seng. Det andet soveværelse med dobbeltseng tilbyder en komfortabel dobbeltseng. En spektakulær stue med åbent køkken / alrum, som giver dig chancen for at forberede måltider i alle størrelser. Køkkenet er fuldt udstyret med bestik, tallerkener, skåle, bestik, gryder og pander osv Det andet badeværelse har en brusevæg, toilet og håndvask. Alle linned og håndklæder leveres til dit ophold. Der er vaskemaskine / tørretumbler combo placeret i separat rum i gangen. WI-FI forbindelse til rådighed uden ekstra omkostninger. Området omkring lejligheden har masser at tilbyde i form af butikker / caféer / restauranter, rejser links. Covent Garden er kun en kort gåtur væk. Hvis du er på udkig efter en unik lejlighed i London, mens på ferie eller forretningsrejse så ser ingen yderligere.

FLOT beliggenhed, men lidt tyndt udstyret bolig.
Udstyr: Der var kun lige nok service til os 6 gæster til et måltid af gangen. Og derfor var een tablet til opvaskemaskinen i underkanten.
Køkkenet var velfungerende, men øvrige møblement stod ikke mål med prisniveauet.
Synd med disse mangler i en godt indrettet bolig.

Spacious, comfortable stay in the heart of London
This property was a delightful place to stay during our time in London. It has a lot of character and was very comfortable and spacious for central London. The location was very convenient to many attractions with great access to buses and the tube. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to London.

London Retreat
We stayed at the Old School in October 2019 while visiting London. It was in a great location and close to everything we needed to get around the city. We found many great restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed the Big Easy for barbecue and Kimchee Restaurant. The apartment was very nice and perfect for our needs. We also loved the little elevator! Jo was waiting for us when we arrived and allowed us to check in early. Thanks Jo!

Light filled Spacious Easy Location
If you are looking for spacious apt in a central location with easy access to tube and bus and walkable to West End of London ...choose the Old School House. The lovely oversized furniture that you see in the photos is not there. There are black highly uncomfortable furniture instead. The kitchen is easy to use. Many of the other reviews commented on the difficulty with the showers....this is true. Many commented on the difficulty with the dryer..also true. We lived in Europe for two years and traveled constantly so have stayed in many apartments. For a couple of weeks you can overlook the issues. I would say this is true of this apt. I would suggest to Jo that with a stay of 10 days some welcome basket would be lovely and a list of walkable restaurants would be a bonus. She was kind enough to let us in early as our flight was from US. You won’t be disappointed in this light filled, roomy, centrally located apartment,

Great Location on a Quiet Street
We stayed here with our two teen boys and my in-laws. The space was perfect for us. Nothing fancy, but had all that we needed. We had the larger bedroom with a loft for the boys and our own bathroom, while in-laws had their own bedroom and bathroom as well. Living/dining/kitchen area was large and relaxing. Location is just a short walk from the tube, and walking distance to Covent Garden and other tourist areas. It was nice to stay on a quiet residential street, but also very close to more lively areas of town. There are many good restaurants just within a few blocks of the flat. We had a few breakfasts and dinners nearby and all were delicious! This place was really good value, considering if we had stayed in a hotel, we would have needed at least 2 (maybe 3) rooms for the 6 of us. And it was much more relaxing to be in a full-size flat, rather than a cramped hotel room. The owners were great-very responsive and flexible with check-in/check-out times. We would definitely recommend this flat and would stay here again.

Gute Lage für London Sightseeing
Bei der Übergabe der Wohnung gab es Schwierigkeiten, da eine andere Familie mit uns verwechselt wurde. Diese Familie gehörte zu einem anderen Objekt, welches zudem über eine andere Vermittlungsplattform gemietet worden ist. Nach Wartezeit hat die andere Familie die Wohnung verlassen und wir konnten einziehen. Dabei waren Jo und seine Frau sehr behilflich, die eine solche Situation bisher auch noch nicht hatten. Später kann man drüber lachen.
Wohnung ist sehr groß und hat viel Platz. Piccadilly Circus ist zu Fuß oder mit der Tube in 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Im Flur des Treppenhauses ist ein defekter "Duftspender", der durch sein ständiges Knacken genervt hat. Weil wir nur vier Tage in London waren, haben wir das nicht weiter moniert. In der Wohnung selbst war das Geräusch nur gedämmt wahrnehmbar. Küche ist riesengroß und gut ausgestatter.

Perfect Location Stay
The review will not need to be long because my five star rating says it all. The property was in a terrific, safe location within a few Tube stops of everything that you would want to see & do. The flat worked very well for our family of five. Jo made the checkin easy and the stay worked perfectly.

Loved this apartment!
Visited London with my sister and my 3 girls, 14, 8, and 7. Apartment is beautiful. Location was centrally located, convenient and safe. Would absolutely return and rent again. Jo made check in quick and easy.

Great location, roomy apartment in London!!
This apartment was perfect for our recent trip to London, very close to the Holborn underground station, plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The apartment is spacious and well appointed, and the building has an elevator.

Super nice apartment close to Holborn Tube station
Very nice apartment. My wife and I stayed there with our two friends. Very large and light living room. Had all the furnishings and items you could ask for. When we arrived we discovered that the coffee press was broken and they fixed it that day.

Great Location
The "school house" had a great location and the property managers were friendly and helpful. The property could probably use a good deep cleaning, however the linens and the kitchen were tidy. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Perfectly located, very charming apartment
The apartment is perfectly located in short distance to Holborn Station, surrounded by an uncountable number of take-aways, bakeries, supermarkets, etc. Part of an old school house, the apartment is charming, offering a lot of space. We loved it - though it could have afforded a better, more intense cleaning.

Bedding needs love
The master bedroom had divets where too many people have slept and the pillows were awful.

Spacious apartment - Great location
Stayed for three nights with family of 5 (kids 14, 12, 9) for our first trip to London. Location was convenient to Holborn Station (Piccadilly and Central Lines) and the Underground is extremely easy to use; everything is very well labeled. There is a grocery store right across from the station (bring your reusable shopping bags) and a great little pub called Old Nick's on the block behind the apartment. Not sure if they have food but the pints were great!
Building has an elevator to the apartment but there are stairs up to the living room/kitchen from the entry hall. Apartment was clean (I have high standards) save for a little mildew in the shower caulk. Heating system was easy to adjust and was plenty warm. Large window with lots of natural light. Shades on windows were adequate for privacy however if you need it dark to sleep bring a sleep mask.
Beds were an American King, Queen and Twin. There was a roll-away and pack-n-play in the closet that we didn't use. They use removable duvets in lieu of top sheets and there were extra blankets in the closet. The twin bed is in need of a new mattress. Even the 9 year old could feel springs. The twin bed is in a loft within the master bedroom, not much privacy for parents. If you have small children this would not be a good bedroom. Steep steps, no rail or place to block with a baby gate could make this a hazard.
Master bath had tub with half glass shield, not meant for showering. Stand up shower in main bath was very small. If you are a sizeable person you will have to use the tub for baths. Also, no proper outlet in the bathroom. If you like to dry hair in front of the mirror, good luck.
Washer Dryer combo in hall washed well but would not dry (could have been operator error). There was a sizeable drying rack and two stand fans that worked well.
Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher was great. Only bad part of the apartment was confusing electricity system. Every outlet had a switch and light switches had strange placement so it was not intuitive as to which switch would control which light.
Summary: A few minor quirks but I would definitely choose this apartment again. Owner walked through the apartment at check in and was very easy to get ahold of as well.

Super appartement très bien situé pour visiter Londres
Magnifique appartement, disposant d’une belle pièce à vivre lumineuse avec une très belle cuisine bien équipée, de deux grandes chambres avec lit xxl et de 2 salles de bain avec wc. Ce logement se situe dans une rue tranquille mais à proximité de toutes les commodités et à 5 min de la station de métro Holborn. Pour les marcheurs, il se trouve à seulement 20 min à pied du quartier très sympa de Covent Garden. Vraiment idéal pour les familles. Nous avons été conquis par cette location.

Stay in Holborn flat

Plenty of space and nicely appointed
The Kitchen had great amenities. Loved having separate toilets for our son. Very clean and quaint and the location is great-easy walk to the Holborn tube. The host met us later in the evening (I'm sure was waiting on us a while) and was very helpful and friendly. The ONLY reason I did not give it 5 stars is that we counted on the washer/dryer, but the dryer was not really drying (we checked YouTube to make sure we were doing it right). Also, a tip-If you are from the US, bring facecloths or cleansing sponges if you are used to wash cloths, and is common in the UK, no electricity in bathroom and the mirrors are not placed where you can see into a mirror and dry or curl hair while plugged in. We moved the wall mirror over to accommodate this. Overall would highly recommend. It's so quaint, spacious for London and comfortable! Would stay again definitely!

Perfect location with lots of room for our family
Jo was easy to work with and met us early to check in. The place worked well for our family of four. The location was central to lots of things and close to two tube spots. I highly recommend this place for families visiting London.

Spacious but not clean
The apartment is located in a central location, the apartment is spacious and well equipped, the owner is nice and flexible. In the bath there is mold and rust floor in the shower, old and worn bathroom rugs, small towels. Hidden places (behind chests and beds) There is a lot of dust, sticky dishes and kitchen cabinets.

Great location, lots of space
We stayed at this property for three nights during a quick visit to London. It is an easy walk to the Holborn station and surrounded by a plethora of great cafes, pubs and restaurants. Overall the neighborhood was very quiet. Jo was wonderful and met us at the apartment right on time. She showed us around and made recommendations for restaurants and getting about the city.
The apartment is spacious and unique. If you plan to cook in, you’ll love the kitchen. The laundry machine is a tiny all in one unit, which we didn’t bother using. My only complaint is that the apartment could use a deep cleaning. All the furniture surfaces were dusty and gritty. Also the master bed didn’t have a mattress cover and they placed a flat (non fitted) sheet which wouldn’t stay in place, thus exposing the mattress itself. The headboard is cloth and was stained—yuck. Finally the towels had been washed and air dried. We noted that a large number of towels (from the last renters I presume) were hung about the loft area to dry on various surfaces including the couch. All the towels could use a good washing in some Clorox IMHO. I’m a bit of a clean freak, so it might not bother you.
We enjoyed our stay!
