Korina's Cottage: Roligt stenhus, et pust fra Agni strand

Korina?s hytte er et storslået korfu stenhus, beliggende kun 70 meter væk fra Agni strand, i et roligt sted med udsigt til Agni Bay og til de panorama omkringliggende bakker.
Huset er et traditionelt Corfiot hus, hvor stenen er det dominerende element i troen til den tradition og natur i området. Det er et ideelt sted for afslapning, uanset om du er en ung eller en ældre par, der ønsker at være væk fra det hele, men så tæt på dem også.
Indtastning af ekstern port du komme ind i en sten brolagt have med parkeringsplads på din højre side, en fast BBQ længere op og en meget gammel traditionel sten bord, med sidder faciliteter lige uden for hovedindgangen af ​​huset, under en smuk pergola .
Hovedindgangen åbner ind i en rummelig område, hvor er et lille, men godt organiseret køkken, adskilt fra det store soveværelse med dobbeltseng, med en lav mur.
Sidder og spisefaciliteter er tilgængelige i dette område, og yderst til højre afslutte en lille gyde fører til en meget rummeligt badeværelse.

A charming stone cottage with good outdoor area just one minute walk from the water’s edge. A great bar and three excellent tavernas in the bay.

Very, very nice accommodation

Very, very nice accommodation, perfect for two people. An incredibly good restaurant, Toulas Seaside, is just around the corner. It's a two-minute walk from the sea, and a ten-minute walk to an incredibly beautiful bay with a small beach club offering bookable loungers, drinks, food, etc. It's not the cheapest place to live, despite the many yachts that dock there daily, but the quality of the food and service at the accommodation is correspondingly excellent.

Generally fine, comfortable bed, good range of kitchen equipment, it would have been good to have use of the safe but that wasn’t working, otherwise all good

The villa was a lovely little escape and the sea was a stone throw away. I realised that we went out of season (just), but the ATM was out of service and there was no service to pay the taxi driver when we arrived. We did manage to eat at one of the taverns on the first day there, but it was their last day open. Maybe a bit of a heads up about this would have been useful.

Charming and brilliantly situated cottage

This is a compact single room cottage which is well equipped, spotlessly clean and an excellent owner who provides regular changes of linen and towels. We lived outside the whole fortnight in the large garden which has lots of shade no matter the time of day. The situation is wonderful, within about 100 metres of the beautiful Agni Bay where the owner provides free sun beds in front of her cheerful cafe and bar.

Beautiful, rustic gem of a cottage!

Corfu is a beautiful island and Agni Bay, where the cottage is located, is a pretty, quiet cove with a handful of tavernas. The cottage is extremely well equipped and whilst it is only suitable for 2 people there is ample room.We particularly enjoyed the walking in the area especially the Corfu Trail coast path to Kalami and beyond. Kalami is a quiet resort, relatively unspoilt and has a beautiful beach with crystal clear water. It is an deal beach to spend the day having a number of tavernas and bars but has not been over commercialised. We would highly recommend the cottage and the area to those who enjoy walking and wildlife and want a quiet, relaxing holiday. To get the best from a holiday in this area a car really is a must, although there is a good bus service which serves the coast and into Corfu Town.

We would love to visit again and stay in Korina's cottage for longer.

Korina's cottage is beautiful, surrounded by trees and just a few steps away from Agni bay. The cottage is very comfortable with a full kitchen and a huge front yard with sun loungers and chairs. The cottage is entirely made of stone as described in the listing and is really lovely. We met the owner Korina who lives just across the street. The area around Agni Bay is very serene and idyllic, perfect for a relaxing vacation. Communication with Sofronios and the rest of his team was smooth and efficient. He arranged for a rental car to be delivered to the cottage on our first day, which was really convenient for us. He also gave us a lot of information on things to do in the area, driving directions, etc. The only thing that was a bit unexpected was that none of the tavernas or shops around Agni bay were open when we visited (mid-April during the Easter weekend). We would've appreciated being told about this just so we could've been better prepared. The closest village where things were open was Nissaki, about a 5 minute drive on the highway. We found out later that everything opens up by the first week of May. That being said, Easter weekend in Corfu was absolutely lovely, so we didn't mind so much that everything wasn't open. We would love to visit again and stay in Korina's cottage for longer.

Perfectly peaceful!

Perfect location for Agni bay - car is necessary if you want to explore. Accommodation basic but clean and all necessary items there. 2 mins flat walk to the bay and tavernas - all in all a good spot for serious RR.

Absolutely fantastic

What an absolute delight to return to korinas cottage. Love the place ,a true reflection on the delights that corfu as to offer . The cottage itself is beautifully rustic and it's position is perfect to enjoy all that Agni Bay and the surrounding area as to offer . Owners of cottage , korina and her family are extremely friendly and helpful in every way . Excellent service from EOS travel again . Only downside was unable to book for 2023 ,already booked. But in for 2024 ,need I say anything else .

A gem in Agni Bay

A clean, pretty and compact cottage but all you need is in it and a great space outside for eating. Such a lovely area with two fantastic walks from the bay in both directions and plenty more sights in easy distance. Highly recommend!

Quite Location

Quite location with beach and restaurants a short walk away. We also had a mid week cleaning which we haven’t had in other vacation rentals.

Eine Auszeit wie aus dem Bilderbuch

Das Haus hat voll unseren Erwartungen entsprochen und den Bildern. Die Lage ist super nur wenige Meter vom Strand und einigen Tavernas entfernt. Der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus super in der engen Bucht. Die Fahrt runter auf der Staße war immer wieder aufregend aber frisch geteert. Die Kommunikation mit EOS Villas war einwandfrei und über eine App immer mit aktuellen Infos versorgt. Das Bad, Küche, Zimmer war gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Vermisst haben wir nichts. Der Essbereich innen ist etwas schmal aber der Steintisch draußen umso besser. Der Kühlschrank hat beim Schlafen nicht gestört, was ich zunächst befürchtet hatte. Das Bett ist bequem und hatte keine Ritze, dafür gibts einen extra Punkt :) Einzig das Fenster in der Tür hat den Schlummer etwas unterbrochen aber das war mit einem Handtuch und etwas mitgebrachtem Klebeband schnell gelöst. Es ist alles sehr gepflegt und der Sonnenaufgang ungeschlagen. Das Meer sieht man auch vom Terrassentisch aus. Alles in Allem ein gelungener Urlaub. Der Agni Bootsverleih ist zudem sehr zu empfehlen.

A great studio for 2 people. However, what makes the cottage extra special is the location in relation to Agni Bay and the excellent outdoor space. You can see and hear the sea it's that close! Agni is a super special small pebble Corfiot bay. Three excellent tavernas, cafe and cocktail bar. Suitable for those who like peace, quiet and tradition. Scenic walks along the coast. The cottage is comfortable, clean and perfect studio space for 2. Very pretty traditional character with stones walls and window shutters. Great outdoor space with bbq, sunbeds and stone table! A pool is not necessary as it's so close to the sea. A very special, little place.

Peaceful

Agni-Beach is a wonderful place to stay!! Its peaceful and quiet. The people around here a friendly, always try to help in every case. You have a lot of possiblities like hiking, boattrips, snorkeling, fishing or just chill. Korinas cottage is a small house with every Equipment you need. Outside you have a grill, sunchairs and place for the whole family and friends.

The place is amazing. The location is perfect. 30 seconds from the beach and very good tavernas. 10 min walking distance from a really beautiful and quiet place. We had amazing time at the house. Definitely amazing choice for staying. Best location!!

Korinas Cottage is a perfect base for 2 and Agni is beautiful, with plenty of choice of excellent tavernas both in Agni and nearby. We particularly loved being so close to the beach and all the wonderful snorkelling opportunities. A very peaceful and delightful place to stay.

Absolute relaxation

Absolutely fabulous time at korinas cottage, from the arrival to the unfortunate departure. The location is perfect, the cottage itself is rustic and has everything you need. The garden has sun all day and with a beautiful shaded area if you get too hot. Agni itself is a beautiful place with three exellent tavernas and our favourite korinas cocktail bar and kitchen. Fabulous place for a meal or just a drink with fantastic staff. We'll be back next year for sure.

Schönes, ruhiges Haus an Top-Lage

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen im Korina's Cottage verbracht. Die Lage(2 Gehminuten zum Strand) mit den 4 sehr schönen Tavernen ist einmalig. Wer ein Boot mieten will, kann hier wunderschöne Touren in die Nachbar-buchten unternehmen. Wir haben auch tolle Wanderungen in die anderen Buchten gemacht. Das Haus selbst ist hübsch und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir würden wieder mit Eos verreisen.

I want to buy it!

What a great little cottage for 2 people who want privacy, intimacy and a fantastic setting just 50 meters from the bay and great restaurants and boat hire - loved Korinas cafe for the less formal meal and drink. Korina herself is lovely and very friendly . Brilliant holiday break and I would buy the property if it was for sale.....so great!

Korina’s Cottage.

Korina’s Cottage had everything we needed for our week’s break, it was in very good condition and was well situated for all Agni had to offer. We had an extremely enjoyable stay and a good base to explore the local area on foot and by boat.

Excellent service from EosEverything was made very easy.Very clear instructions on finding our property. Even when our car battery was flat, we were reached within 10 minutes and given a replacement car.We had a wonderful few days on Corfu.We would use Eos again.
