Awesome view and property

Views from property were superior and just the right size. property manager was extremely responsive and helpful. The turtles in the cove and snorkeling was very good. Would stay again!

Both will go out of their way to help, The condo is great, with a view of the bay and a great whale watch during the whale season. Snorkeling is idea. Laundry is on site. We loved Longhi Restaurant, Hula Grill and Aloha Plate - all within 5 or 6 miles. Grocery stores, malls all within the same distance.

We had a wonderful view of the cove and ocean, and loved snorkeling and seeing the fish and huge turtles! Our condo was well stocked with everything we needed, including a cooler bag in which we packed a lunch for our drive to Hana. We enjoyed walking to the Gazebo Restaurant, as well as a beautiful beach to the North. I would highly recommend this property to friends! It was such a relaxing and enjoyable trip. We hope to return someday.

We have been here several times, and have always enjoyed the peaceful tranquility; however, this trip was not so tranquil. Young children were up and running around the property at 6AM, - toys in the pool, playing "ball" games on the grass, etc., none of which is supposed to be allowed. Is there any way to put a minimum age of 10 for children?

It was a great experience starting from the night we got in. We arrived after the condo office was closed which made me nervous however there was an envelope waiting for us near the office which contained keys, maps, and welcome letters! The unit was beautiful and super clean but it was the morning sunrise that sold me on this unit. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. I would recommend this place to any of my family and friends.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great big family trip and had lots of fun. We rented 3 different units. The quality really varied from each place. The upstairs bathroom for the main bedroom of our place has a really bad layout; the toilet sits in front of the sink and only one person can be in there at a time. Most things in the unit need to be updated, many things need to be replaced or cleaned out - too much stuff in every drawer, cupboard, closet. Loved the property & location but I wouldn't rent that condo again. The property manager wasn't very friendly but he diligently did his chores everyday.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented at the Cove several times over the years and always come back. It gives us the low-key, oceanfront experience we love. Access to the cove for snorkeling is one of the main attractions for us, as well as the magnificent views of the surf crashing beyond the cove and the whales enjoying their winter retreat. This time, we had Unit 213. It has a fabulous view. Downstairs bedroom has twin beds (a bit small for adults) and the upstairs has a queen. A comfy couch gives nice seating for four or five. The dressers could use replacing, but overall, the unit is in good shape. The bathrooms with large walk-in showers appear to be a recent addition—much appreciated.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Honokeana Cove many times and in several different units. This unit has an incredible view of the cove. It is roomy and has plenty of furniture. This kitchen is well stocked. The air conditioning was a big help in the afternoon and evening. What this unit needs is a little fixing up though. The carpets are in need of either replacing or a good cleaning. The upstairs bathroom is a tough one. To stand at the sink you are squeezing in between the toilet and the counter. Also, not all the drawers work so you are limited to 2. That being said, a little updating and this unit would be on the top of my list next time.

After traveling the world snorkeling The state of the coral here and other beaches in Maui was disappointing, although I enjoyed the turtles. The condo was very nice although the carpets were dirty. The difficulty in turning on the tv and the wifi was frustrating. The wifi didn't work for 4 days and the front desk said I was on holiday so shouldn't get on line or watch tv. That was not helpful. There was no list in the condo of local restaurants, or recommended snorkeling sites and boats, nor any list of other things to do, such as the butterfly farm and bee area. That is always helpful. Given the extra charge for cleaning I think the cleaners should have emptied the garbage.

Great Location on Maui

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cove is a beautiful for swimming for even the novice and other water activities. My issue is each condominium is owned by a different person and the overall cost is based on the size of the unit. Our unit was one bedroom with a loft. We didn't need the loft but it was the only option available. The owner of our unit didn't upgrade the unit or put any investment into making it more comfortable. The towels were old and very used. We were there 10 nights and no cleaning of the unit or extra sheets or towels for a long stay. In other units they had this small amenity. We were paying $400.00 a night and it would have been nice if there was a cleaning mid stay. Other condos have cleaning and towels cleaned and sheets in 4 days. If you get a unit (no way to know) with the guidance of Campo, the manager, who helps the "regulars" get the renovated units it would be nice or they should lower the fee for the old units that are not cleaned unless you stay 2 weeks. The location is good for restaurants and there are 3 barbecues but the kitchen is electric and not very functional. The workers cleaned the grass every morning and that was good. You are expected to take out your garbage. I am not a snob but for $400.00 a night - I expect more attention and a better unit. The kitchen chairs rolled and were a poor choice in my opinion.
